Hello, Cupcake Review

Cute little cupcake shop in downtown Tacoma. The cupcakes are super cute. They're a bit too sweet for me but I do love how they look. Adorable!!

Beyond amazing. Great quality, great assortment, and such kind staff. Unfortunately I lost track of time, and called them in a panic for a cupcake order 30 mins before they closed in December. Even though I was frantic and apologetic, they were so calm and sweet! Love love love this place.

Great customer service, cute interior design and a cozy place tho enjoy cupcake and something to drink but the overall taste of the cupcakes were too sweet (just the frosting). The bread part was moist and soft but the frosting was a but too much for my friend and I to handle. Also by signing up for their reward points, we got a a free mini lemon cupcake.

Super sweet and a little expensive, but the flavors are great. I recommend the mini cupcakes if you're unsure about what you might like. It helps to get something to drink too, so the sweetness is cut down.

We used hello, cupcake for our wedding cake/cupcakes and LOVED them! We will visit them every chance we are in Tacoma!

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating - one of our flavors was out-of-season (meaning that we had to order at least four dozen), but due to a change in our numbers, we were at the point where we would have to cut down on our other main flavor (due to the required four dozen). However, the staff at hello, cupcake (and specifically the baker, Alex I believe her name was) worked their magic and found another wedding party who had ordered the out-of-season flavor and allowed us to split the required four dozen order between the two parties!

The cupcakes are amazing - I actually got a sugar headache because they are so good! We can't say enough about hello, cupcake and will sing their praises!

Delicious cupcakes! I ordered over the phone for my husband's birthday and they were super helpful. The cupcakes were perfect!

the mini bundt cakes are the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. The lemon flavor was the BEST!

Favorite cupcake shop! Cute and always tasty. We really enjoy the Strawberry Cheesecake (June flavor) and the Cookie Dough. We appreciate that they also have mini cupcakes. Always our choice for birthdays.

This adorable cupcake bakery is a must if you're visiting Tacoma! Super cute interior, great service, and delicious cupcake! My favorite flavors are cookie dough, chocolate peanut butter and raspberry chocolate, but they're all good!

I had Hello, Cupcake do a cutting cake and cupcakes for my wedding and they were amazing! They brought their cake stands and set it all up - it made the day of SO much easier with them handling desserts. Everything looked amazing (and even more important - tasted amazing!) I highly recommend them to anyone!

Awesome cupcakes but very expensive. $35 for 12 cupcakes. Very nice people. Wonderful little shop. Extremely clean.

Adorable bakery, they make delicious cupcakes. Took my daughter and she loved her lemonade cupcake. I love how bright and open the inside is. Great place to sit down and enjoy a treat.

I drive to tacoma just for these cupcakes sometimes. There are other cupcake shops near me but the quality of Hello Cupcake's cupcakes surpass any of the other shops by far. The cupcakes aren't heavy or lacking in flavor in any way. The hummingbird cupcake is the best cake I've ever eaten. Its a bummer it is seasonal! I've never had any problems with the staff or the cakes and i will continue to be a loyal customer for as long as they are making amazing cupcakes!

I just had one of the red velvet cupcakes for the very first time and I must say that I was impressed.

Tasty cupcakes and a thoughtful layout but the pricing is a bit too steep in my opinion being almost $4 per cupcake. Seems to be more for the first time tourists or once in awhile occasions. Considering that it's located on a university campus i think it would generate more business among students if the prices were slightly more reasonable.

Ok. These are OK. The frosting tastes kinda oily to me and the cake is alittle dry.

The best spot for cupcakes in Tacoma hands down. Their flavors are always spot on without going overboard with the sweetness. I love going to Hello Cupcake to try their special flavor of the month, and if you're a chocoholic you need to try their chocolate cupcake. The only complaint I have is that it's difficult to find parking!

Cute shop. I like the buy three get three happy hour concept. However, the cake was very dense, and kind of dry. The icing was too sweet, and there was a lot of it. It was kind of crusty on the outside. I probably will try someplace else out. Also, $4 a cupcake is a bit much for the quality.

Great cupcakes. Anytime I am in Tacoma I stop and grab some. They are a bit pricey though. They have minis which is awesome.

Get the s'mores cupcake. Trust me. That bwing said you really can't go wrong.

I planned a baby shower for a weekend in June 2018. So I talked with the Baker and we decided on Purple and Blue icing - with pearls and shimmers on the tops. They where amazing and a great hit. Got them on time and the price is well worth it and will use them again for the next party. So soft and sweet but not so sweet that it hurts :)

Cute shop, delicious cupcakes, sad about the destruction caused by violent protesters. Very clean shop. It's definitely go again.

I was in and out and this is the first time buying from so I can't say much yet.So 4 for now.

Moist cakes with delicious, homemade frostings in a sweet, candyland atmosphere. My favorite so far was the apple "pie" cupcake with big chunks of apple in a cinnamon cake topped with cream cheese frosting and drizzled over with real caramel. Or maybe the lemon cake topped with candied lemon shavings. It's hard to choose!

Everytime we go here for a family day there is always something different to try. A lot of our burthday traditions have hello cupcake part of it
