I hope to eat like this more often, I want to try their baklava!! The kabas are great, their chicken is juicy and the lule isn't overcooked either. I love the rice and tomato.

Huge portions! But steak kebob was a little dry but chicken was muuuch better!

Called their delivery number to order in advance for our pre new year office lunch (17 people). A lady picked up the phone, I asked if I could pre-order now and have food delivered tomorrow, she said YES, I asked if they have party tray orders. she rudely cuts me off and asked that I call her back in 10mins. Who's the customer here? If it were done in a polite manner I wouldn't have minded.

So good job on losing potential revenue and for losing would be returning customers. (Our office is 5mins away and most of us here like persian food) Miss.

Will be calling a different Persian restaurant after posting this review for sure, there's quite a few others nearby as well.

We had a superb in this restaurant. We liked the amazing environment and the menu. The staff members are very amiable. I m happy we ultimately managed to visit this spot.

Good food, I make it a point of stopping by and picking up a dish when I pass by this area near Pasadena.

The place is spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The helpings were generous and overall this place is a good value. The food tastes good, but I just wanted a little more flavor. That was the general feeling of our whole table, that it was almost great, but needed more flavor. But again, this place is far better than most and the meat was fresh and of good quality.

This place has potential but the food is average. I like Sahara Mediterranean restaurant better. It's only few blocks away east of Colorado. They have some really tasty food.

Food tastes ok. Service is slow. Price is average for a typical restaurant. It is hot like an oven inside. Their AC does not work. We had to cut our dinner short and leave. It was unbearable inside.

Great Persian Food. I feel that their soups and their side dishes are great. Overall, the waiters and watresses are polite and best of all the dishes are Halal and most of the time considered kosher.

I love this place! Great food and wonderful staff but they let people come in without masks and sit inside without their mask on.

It's pretty good. Honestly their shish kabob is amazing. However it's too oily for some people (my friends). The only thing that docks a star from me is because the dining ware here doesn't look clean. They have water spots. Otherwise, like it.

Love the Koobideh dish and barley soup! Also great atmosphere and people.

I love this restaurant. Going there for last 10 years. Halal food, Iranian style, but worth the price and price is very reasonable. Their soup is the best.

Fresh food. We ordered mixed grilled platters. Enjoyed the chargrilled tomatoes and peppers that ame with the entrees. Yogurt dip with cucumbers was pretty good too. Hummus could use some tlc.

Quick, tasty, and pretty cheap. For under $15 you can get a really good plate. Love their marinated chicken scewers and lentil soup.

Awful staff" bad a attitude N service poor" waiters not even ask if eventing was fine" not even once.. The cashier also ugly attitude not friendly at all..

I have never in my life tasted food as bad as the food we were served. The customer service could ve saved the food but it was WORST than the food. The food had multiple people throwing up. We asked for refunds and got attitude the whole time but all the food was there! No one finished their food! Don t even bother with this restaurant everything about this restaurant is subpar and trashy.

Rude heavy weight waitress no people skills needs to go back to her country or learn people skills. The food is okay especially if your hungry.

I ve eaten at quite a few Persian/Iranian restaurants and this was my least favorite. Food was ok, lacking flavor and definitely tasted like there was no salt at all. The maste khiar was quite good and so was the lubia polo. The chicken soltani had decent flavor, the kobideh was just ok and the rice in general was a disappointment. The rice didn t taste flavorful and lacking true saffron. The gormeh sabzi was rubbish. The service was definitely sub par. The ambience was more like an old diner.

It is by far one of the best Persian Restaurants in town. The food is traditional, deliciously authentic, and vegetarian friendly. They will be relocating to Robin's location on Rosemead Blvd. in Pasadena. I will definitely follow them. I am looking forward to their "Grand Opening".

Best medeteranian food in all if Los Angeles. Thou have tho try the chicken kebab and beef kebab. Reasonably priced with lots of food.

Great food but terrible service. It's probably the best Persian food in the area. I have been there many times and will return; yet, without any expectation for a decent service. The service is consistently bad. This is why I rate it 4 star, otherwise food is 5 star.

Crappy taste.. If you are truly from the mideast this place is not good.

My family and friends have been dining at Heidar Baba for the last 5 years, our experiences have always been pleasant and food, services, owners, and staff are really welcoming and enjoyable.
We also take out for different occasions which our guests are complimentary and surprised of the quality and presentation. I have gotten to know the owners and people who work there and like them all and recommend this place and I know you will enjoy your visit and the food.

We stopped in after a visit to a nearby doctor. The spicy chicken koobideh was incredible!

Its not really a good Persian food. It was no flavor in the rice...the beef kabob portion was very skimpy, the season was ok but not great. The pita they served me was like a left over from another table... I won't come back.

Excellent! Large variety of Persian foods on the menu. Only wish they would offer a more authentic salad dressing (lemon juice and olive oil is simple enough). Otherwise, try it once and I promise you'll be hooked.

Service was a little slow, but the portions were huge and the food was tasty. They don't have tahdig if you get there for an early dinner. If you're like me and you like your gheimeh with french fries, this is the place to go. The fries here are excellent.

It's great to eat here, the white meat is delicious and the happy hour makes it great to eat at an affordable price! Fabiola delivers a great customer service experience! Keep doing a great job!!
