This was my second experience with Heart Start CPR. A lot of information was delivered in a short amount of time. I learned some new information and fine-tuned my CPR and first aid skills. Thank you for your very wise instruction.

Well done! Will continue to pay for these classes rather than doing it for free at my job. This doesn't mean that it is given away or that easy. It is the manner in which the instructors deliver the info. Great classroom setting and no problem for parking.

I've always wanted to learn CPR, I always knew I should know CPR, and I think it would be insanely valuable to be able to help someone in need with CPR - however, I was definitely NOT CPR certified.

That changed with Heart Start CPR (awesome name). Super comfortable environment to learn someone somewhat uncomfortable. Highly recommend this skill anyways, but also recommend learning that skill in an setting conducive to learning - which is what you'll find at Heart Start.

I've been working as an EMT firefighter these last two years so I let my medic certs lapse but am now cranking them back up. I've now taken both BLS and ACLS at HeartStart, and I will be definitely be using these guys for all my recertificcations. I'm taking their PALS class next week and am looking forward to it.

My husband and I attended this class as we have two young children. It was well worth the price and very informative. Although it s a 2 1/2 to 3 hr course, it never seemed too long or dragged out. Time actually went fast because we were so engaged and into the learning experience. I highly recommend Head Start CPR for anyone looking to get certified. The instructor was very knowledgeable and welcomed questions throughout the session. A great experience!

I took a BLS course at Heart Start CPR and it was a great experience. I was a little concerned about taking a class in person during the pandemic but I was assured prior to enrolling that they were taking extra precautions to make sure the environment was safe and sanitary. They even made slight modifications to the curriculum to follow CDC guidelines. Each person had their own station to work at, which were 6ft+ apart from each other. The instructor was also funny, friendly, and made sure everyone was on the same page the whole time! I'm glad I decided to take the course in person at Heart Start CPR.

I have never been CPR certified but Heart Start CPR made my first experience very enjoyable and informative. The online training is interactive and makes the learning process fun. The instructors came to our medical office for the hands on training which was a great experience. I highly recommend Heart Start CPR.

This place does a great job of tailoring the class to you and giving what each student needs. They train all levels from lay person up through medical professional, and seem to have a knack for personalizing things instead of giving "cookie cutter" classes.

This is especially true for medical types who need to not only renew their certs every so often, but keep up with changes and new procedures - I've never found a place as good at getting the "meat" of the updates and new procedures as well or as easily as these guys. Highly recommend.

Have always gotten consistently great training here, this is the group I use for my certifications. Also easy to register for classes online and e cards get sent same day. Highly recommend this group.

I have been taking courses here for years and I love how Heart Start CPR offers a lot of different available class dates which helps fit into anyone s busy schedule. The instructors are approachable and thorough and I will continue to go here for various certification courses!

I have been going here for the last 3 renewals and I love it. Stress free and all the instructors are super friendly and helpful. I refer everyone there because of the wonderful experience that I have continued to have!!

I ve been taking my BLS recertifications here for the past 8 years. Always great classes, clean teaching environment and the instructors are amazing. There s nothing like instruction from experienced providers. I can t say enough good things about this crew.

I go every year (every 2 for BLS and every 2 for ACLS - alternating years). I love this place so much that I come and pay out of pocket instead of attending my employer sponsored trainings. The classes are interactive, fun, and non-threatening. I ll see you next year! Thanks for everything you do!

Great experience. Lots of hands on practice and practical advice. I enjoyed that the instructor also worked with the Oakland FD and hand real experiences to share with us. He was very knowledgeable and ensured we all felt comfortable with the procedures. He and his associate walked around making sure we were doing things correctly and helping to adjust our technique as needed.

I've been taking the 'BLS for Healthcare Providers' class at the San Ramon, CA facility since 2010. It is always a complete yet succinct (2 1/2 hrs) class packed full of the pertinent details. This year, the enrollment was half of normal due to Covid-19. We all had our own tables/dummies, and everyone wore a mask. Plenty of hand sanitizer. Highly recommend this class for anyone.

Heart Start CPR provided the lay rescuer course to my office. The instructor (Joe, I think) was fantastic, very knowledgeable, great attitude, and did a great job of keeping everyone engaged through the 4-hour course. My colleagues and I are often on construction sites or in difficult-to-access places. I now feel much better equipped to help them, or anyone else, if there was a medical emergency.

Great place to take ACLS! I have come here many times for renewal. Even if it is offered for free at my hospital I come here because it is less stressful for me. Pete the instructor was funny. The megacode was not intimidating at all. I highly recommend it.

Well done- As a teacher I need to take this class every two years... and I started teaching in the late 80's, so this was not my first time through the material. Instructors are engaging, well informed and helped personalize the instructions for our specific needs.

Great training! I've taken several refresher classes with them, and they're always terrific, highlighting and reinforcing all the most important information, but also not wasting any time. The instructors have always been very sharp, friendly, and professional, and the facility is great, with a nice layout, good equipment, and plenty of snacks available too.

I recently attended a CPR training for school at this San Ramon location. The class was taught by David Ybarra who did an awesome job at explaining everything. He explained the "book" version of what needed to be known but also what he felt was most important when in a real life situation. I felt social distancing and cleansing practices were appropriate for current times (COVID19). I highly recommend going to this location, especially if taught by David.

I have re-certified my BLS and ACLS more times than I can remember, but the Heart Start CPR re-cert was the best. Low pressure, with a great instructor (Lisa), so I could sit back and learn instead of feeling anxious. I would not even think of taking BLS and/or ACLS with anybody else.

As an experienced emergency physician who has had to take BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS a number of times, and who was an ACLS Instructor long ago, I can honestly say that this company provided the most relaxed and informative classes I have ever taken. All the students in both PALS and ACLS-Recert classes were able to learn well, pass easily, and leave satisfied with Heartstartcpr's classes. By the time testing is due there was not a student who felt intimidated or worried in any way about passing. That is rare in this world as whether it is your first such class, or 10th, they can be structured to be cause a great deal of test anxiety. By hiring instructors who both were well-experienced and just nice people, the classes were more relaxed and all students were able to enjoy the learning environment.

Heart Start is a great CPR course! It s very well organized and up to the point! My last instructor- Monica Hillesheim- explained the matter clearly and in a easy to understand, and remember way! I ll definitely attend the course again when it s time for renewal.

My go to when I need to renew certifications and work doesn t have any openings. Staff is always great. Always getting me out of a pinch because I always forget stuff is due.

I've been certified there twice and thought it the best of all the programs I've taken. I absolutely loved the fact that the dummies were on the tables and not on the floor. I have painful arthritis and getting up and down would really be a chore!
