Excellent service. The food preparations and quality are beyond compare. Everything tastes incredibly delicious. Even the water is somehow better.

Had a wonderful dinner at the Solstice. We had the seafood platter for 2. It was delicious and we'll balanced with some superbly cooked and presented vegetables. Missed the rack of lamb that was on the menu previously. Hope it will be back on the menu soon.

Visited a Saturday night. Lots of private parties and loud. Service was seemingly slow. I ordered the steak medium but it was over cooked. Penne alla vodka was very good.

Great restaurant for private events. I have been here many times for family functions and the food and staff are always great.

I went here with a bunch of friends for one of my close friends birthdays. The food was pristine and very well cooked, along with the ambiance (except for a couple of crying kids but no one can stop that)

The thing that struck me the most was that our waitress was mediocre throughout most of the meal, not bothering to really talk to us all that much and just took our orders quickly. And at the end of the meal, she brought us the bill total on one receipt. As I'm sure many groups of friends know, this is extremely frustrating as most of the time you have to calculate and take time to find out how much everyone owes. We politely asked for a separate bill and the waitress suddenly turned into this rude person who said "One Moment" and stormed away to her manager. They we had the "big and scary" manager come tell us that NORMALLY they don't separate the bills, and if they had known previously when they took the reservation that we would want separate bills, they wouldn't have taken our reservation at all.

Ridiculous. It took them 20 minutes to figure out what everyone ordered and to reassemble the bill, where most systems are all automatic and it was very stupid for the waitress to have sent her boss over to tell us that we wouldn't have been welcome if we had asked for a separate bill. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Not even the amazing food could bring me back to this judgmental, stupid and overall rude restaurant.

Was there for a work function. Great food! My steak was perfect and good portions.

I love this place. I take all my dates here. John Paul, makes me feel special like I m famous and that usually does the trick to seal the deal with my date. Hands down best food and good company.

Nice place great presentation but everything tasted bland

Enjoyed a great business dinner last Friday night! Delicious flavors on all their items especially the entrees. Friendly staff who were very attentive. Very picky with my Italian food and Solstice does it right!

This is my absolute favourite restaurant around. The staff are friendly and it's nice to see the same faces. The decor is modern and elegant as is the table setting. Head chef always makes time to say hello and makes sure everything is just perfect. Every dish I've tried on the menu has been excellent and I'm never disappointed. Fresh quality ingredients are used. Pasta is always cooked to perfection. It's also nice to see that there are regulars that are respected and appreciated. If you haven't tried Solstice I would say you need to go and try it out. It's modern/classic Italian food at it's best! Lastly, always, always, always get the calamari. You won't regret it!

Visited for a federal party leader meeting. Good place but can't evaluate for food at this time.

Perfect place for a family party! We celebrated an 85th and 90th birthday and all our guests loved the food and the service was great. The party room was private and the big t.v. screen made it very easy to have family pictures shown while we dined. The personalized menus were also a nice touch. A big thanks to all the staff who made this birthday celebration extra special.

We have been going here since they opened. Very good quality food and especially love the coffee and the tiramisu. They keep the menu fresh so its always a conundrum deciding what to have. A nice little gem in Clarkson that I recommend to all my friends, family and coworkers.

Our group of 6 only had enough time for apps, but they were delicious and we all definitely want to go back for meals. The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly.

I've never been there, but I ordered takeout yesterday. My husband had a paella, and I had the pasta a la vodka. My dish was pretty good, well seasoned, and the portion was very generous. I'm small and eat little, so I ate about half. So I have leftovers for lunch, yay! My 10yo son tried my pasta and he liked it, too. My husband also enjoyed his food.
I had the tiramisu for dessert and it was absolutely delicious! Loved it!
I only wish they had something more boring that I could order for younger kids, like a cheese or pepperoni pizza. My youngest was not impressed with the menu choices.

My family and I used to come here on special occasions. Unfortunately the food and service has gone down hill immensely. We've had two bad experiences in a row and will not be coming back. Can't justify 300+$ on adequate food and service

Impeccable presentation however it took 30-45 minutes to recieve our order, upon arrival I tried a bite of each element just to find out it was all over cooked. The homemade gnocchi dough was overworked and under seasoned prior to cooking and then over cooked in obviously unsalted water as well to the point that when chewed it was gummy and created a paste in your mouth. The mushroom cream sauce had no salt or any other forms of seasoning whatsoever further making the dish inedible. The lobster tail, when tapped on, made the same noise as tapping the wooden table we were seated at. Scallops ended up over cooked and rubbery, yet had no crust from the searing. I sat for around an hour and didn t touch my meal yet was not asked about or questioned as to what was wrong. At the end of the dinner they asked me a few times if I wanted to take it home, to which I declined, charged us for it and we left. Hands down the worst dinner I ve attended in a very long time.

Just wanted to share my great experience that I had while at your restaurant. The food was very flavourful and the ambience of the place feels really great. The service was excellent when they got an order wrong, they corrected it immediately and that s what counts the most! Thank you for the wonderful experience and the amazing food!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We had a wonderful dinner, all four of us throughly enjoyed our meals, accompanied by a great wine. The food, wine, service and ambience were all excellent.

Went here for my Mom s Birthday and it was delicious! There was 8 of us. The wine was fabulous and all of the food was fantastic. I ordered the Paperdelle and it was the most delicious pasta I ve ever had. The service was outstanding. Will definitely be back. Thank you making my Mom s birthday the best!

I went there for company's Christmas Dinner. In general, the service was nice. The decoration was wonderful. We like the food. It was delicious. However, there is still a room for improvement, such as the steak, according to some of my colleagues, was a bit too raw. They also need more options of side dishes and beers. In conclusion, we had fun and it is recommended to try their food.

Always excellent! Vince, his brothers and staff are fantastic. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. I had the seafood paella last time I went and it was perfectly spiced with morsels of seafood and chorizo in every bite. My new favourite place.

Came here last night for some wine with my girlfriend and it was excellent. Service was good and quick, and the wine was very smooth.

Went to Solstice with a group of friends, we tried a bunch of appetizers and drinks followed by our main courses. Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. It was a fantastic meal and the service was excellent. Will definitely be going back soon.

Delicious, fresh foods. Been frequently going there for 3 years now with my wife and family members. Every time is a delightful experience.

Always a pleasure visiting this family run local gem. The family and staff are always professional, prompt and friendly. We feel like we are being welcomed back home everytime we visit. The food has always been freshly prepared and delicious (absolutely fabulous Italian food!! My personal fav are grilled calamari and penne Alla vodka). The restaurant always come up with new menu items or promotion as well, so don t miss out on following them via social media. We once had a holiday family party at their private room; the food and atmosphere was great. All our guests were very pleased. We highly recommend Solstice!!

Very Very good, second time here. I tried the Taste of Clarkson menu amazing value , the goat cheese appetizer was something out of a magazine , flat iron steak was sooo tasty chocolate almond tart was a little rich for me but still good. Service was on point not over the top. Might book company xmas party in their private room .

I went there on a Friday evening with a group of friends for our Christmas dinner. We all arrived at 7pm. We started receiving the food at 8:30pm. It was a very long wait. I ordered pizza and it was tasty, but the name was 4 vegetables and there was no more than 4 pieces of veggies on it - see attached picture. The ambiance was very nice, but not enough for me to ever go back there.

Got cold and overcooked food, it was a steak so I am still a little confused. But the service was decent nothing to write home about but good enough, that I'm definitely willing to give them a second go as I've heard good things but we were not impressed.

My family recently hosted an engagement party at Solstice for my soon-to-be husband and I and wow, we were so impressed! Andrew went above and beyond to ensure all of the arrangements were in place before our event and thought about every detail - from the custom message on our guests' menu, to setting up our photo slideshow on the TV, to providing us with lots of extra tables for our sweets and gifts. We were given a separate room in the restaurant which felt safe and private from the rest of the restaurant. All guests including ourselves were asked to wear masks walking into/out of the restaurant and when using the washrooms, which added an extra level of comfort to the experience. The servers assigned to our event wore masks the entire evening and diligently cleaned up the room at the end of the night. The food was delicious and the service was timely and amazing. A great spot for a family function! We'd definitely host another event here in the future. Thank-you!
