Visited yesterday 7/10/19 were warmly welcomed and given lots of information and chose which tour we wanted to go one. While we were waiting we went to the jam kitchen where we were able to taste all the delicious jams and chutneys and make our purchases. We then went on the tour which was enjoyable and our was very knowledgeable and entertaining and we got to taste lots of different ciders well worth a visit

Love the cream teas. The animals are a nice touch to the place to occupy young visitors. The tasting point is great. However, the cyder costs more to purchase here than it does at supermarkets/shops in and around cornwall itslef.

Lovely place to spend a few hours or more. New visitor centre and restaurant are great, a big improvement from our last visit 5 years ago. Informative tours by friendly, enthusiastic staff. And an opportunity to taste nearly every product, from drinks to jams and sauces, makes it easier to decide what to buy. Well worth a visit.

Great tour post-lockdown with a very knowledgeable tour guide. We both really enjoyed the cider tasting, and the way you catered for guests during these difficult times was top notch, worth the COVID19 admission price

Lovely day out. Friendly staff helped guide us round with no pressure to buy anything. Free samples provided in a sanitary way and you can even pet all the animals pictured! All for free. Couldn't recommend more for a cheap day out.

Loved my visit here. You have to book on line Home of Rattler Cyder get a small history section farm zoo eating places and a gift shop. The cider is great I spent way to much in the gift shop my recommendation pineapple cider and the rum and cider blend get a hit of heat and then the cider. Planning a trip back soon.

Love going there

Love going there
Cider.....gin.....fruit juice.....Jams.....sauces

Not much open due to current climate
But the staff are always friendly, polite and doing their best despite the way things are

Always leave with a few cases, rude not to

Very disappointed. Came as part of a coach holiday and were promised a tasting session. However there were not enough glasses for everyone. I asked the server if there were more. He said no. I asked if there was another tasting session later and was told that he would be 'here all night'. Not helpful when the coach is leaving soon. Undeterred we went to find the farm animals. Found some goats, chickens and rabbits but the other pens were empty. No sign of a shire horse. On the plus side the cream tea was delicious and the one star given is for that. Not recommended the staff were not helpful.

2nd visit here. The visitors centre is new though since we last came. There are too many different tours to choose from in my opinion, we opted for the full tour. It took way longer than the 1hr45 it said it would. The bottling plant doesn't work at the weekend either so don't bother with that on a weekend, we weren't told this until we were up there. The bar where tasting is you can get full pints, but it's annoying having to go to the other side of the shop to queue and pay for a cider, get the receipt and then go back to the other side and get your drink. Why not just get some tills where the pumps are. Now for the restaurant, we were there at 5pm and all they had was Cornish pasties, baguettes and chips. Not great for the kids. I asked for the free pint of cider from the bar and was told 2 of them weren't available.....it's a cider farm, it's your own stuff. How can you not have it available at the one proper bar you have. After a 30 minute wait I asked where our pasties and chips were only to be told the cook hadn't been informed of the order. It finally came out 45 minutes after ordering. I got a refund by staff without me asking which was nice of them. Overall not impressed one bit by the lack of food available, cockup with ordering and lack of cider. A costly day out now, it never used to be.

Brilliant place to visit for a day out, as a couple or with family. There's lots to do and the food is really good.
The cyder is obviously top notch and there's a chance to try all the different flavours. There's plenty of choice and different gins and whiskeys too. The staff are so friendly and more than happy to help.
Can't wait to go back again using the year pass, another great idea!

Lovely place and a couple of hours we'll spent with family, friends, dogo and rattler cider. The cider press House smells amazing! Good merch' shop and the free samples are a nice touch. Staff all friendly, happy and bubbly. They even dispersed a group of 7 under new covid guidelines. Very covid secure, I understand why they have recently started charging for entry. I'm sure it won't be a permanent thing. With my annual pass, I'll definitely be back.

What a really enjoyable day out we all had as there is something for every member of the family. With free admission and parking and this allows you to visit the jam making, farm animals. tasting and tea rooms. If you wanted too there are also different guided tours you can pay for which can include the museum, distillery and cellar tours. If you up for some fun you can partake in a tractor ride. A special thanx goes to our knowledge tour guide Rob who made our visit that bit more enjoyable.

Having a restless 6-year-old, we decided against doing any of the tours. Instead we stopped for a quick visit to see the animals, and taste some of the ciders.

The tasting guide did a great job explaining all the cider variations, and an even better job including our daughter in the tasting offering up some non-alcoholic juices for her to try.

Nice enough place but you get that underlying feeling that the staff are not enjoying the experience...not good people to work for i was told by at least two on site. Also overpriced...buy your bottles souvenirs from Tesco!!

A lovely place. Haven't been for a few years and it has vastly improved since our last visit.
The kids enjoyed the animals and the juice and jam tasting and we adults absolutely loved tasting the delightful samples of various tipples. The new restaurant is amazing. Service was great. My sister in law and myself had the ploughmans and wow! Great value for money and just a lovely few hours spent.

Well been coming to Cornwall for about a long time we always go back to the cider farm so we went there I know we have the corona virus but to charge 3 pound just to cross the road I think is out rages and the toilet well you could get a virus just using them won't be going ever again

Wonderful tour of the cider factory and a chance to taste their range of ciders and wines. They suggest allowing a couple of hours but we were there most of the day. Excellent trip and even the kids enjoyed the trip and their own juice tasting.

We arrived just as they opened so were too early for a tour but you can still walk around and pet the animals. It was free to enter (tours are extra) and was very clean and hygienic. There was a well stocked gift shop where we tasted a couple of ciders (I can imagine this may be busy later in the day)
Their pear cider is one of the best!

Been coming here for years turned up today and was told it costs to go to restaurant and tasting side and was also told was going to go up in August for peak times why would you want to charge just to get to restaurant 5 pounds per adult and expect a charge for kids so more expense for a family another business trying to get more money out of you so is this a reaction to being shut from covid

Although cider is not my thing, they fortunately have a selection of apple juices that have not gone off, which are rather nice. The tractor ride was the highlight, particularly for my three year old nephew who was transfixed for the entire ride. Worth a pop in if down that way, followed by a visit to Callestick ice cream farm for an ice cream chaser.

Not the same while this covid is going on
..wouldn't bother.. alot of people in the bar/cafe In bigger groups of 6 separate but they were mixing tables ect.. passing food about in front of the staff.. unacceptable really while this covid is going on... the women who served us.. didn't say anything and she was standing in front of them ...other than that it was okay

Ok staff really nice ,but over worked, my two main issues for rating it a 1 is we did the 2nd gen guided tour which we were told its running 20mins behind which is no worries (things happen) but then we turned up 20mins late, like we were told too ,and they had already started 10 mins ago! we had to catch up which to be honest dont think we missed much? But then was kinda rushed through with the rest of the group not enough time to read bits then taken down stairs and we were singled out in a un friendly way basically saying " right your done now" then the rest of the group carried on with their full tour.

My tour slipped into the middle of the full tour fyi

We were allowed in to the farm[ bits of the tour (full tour) which are free to walk around], but you must ?get more indepth information . See the animals shops drink tasting and jam /chutneys shop tasting is all free and they dont push for the tours

Big is not always best. Went here in 2013 and it was really quaint. Now huge restaurant, muddled service, scones not properly cooked very doughy in the middle not enough cream for the size of the scones. Toilets dirty, tap broken, toilet seat missing. It seems all sell, sell, sell. Won't be going again.

A great half day out with grand parents and little one. The cream teas were great and the staff incredibly helpful and professional. We are local and so will be back for chutneys and to see the animals. Really safe and clean so no worries being here as a family with covid. Looking forward to coming back. We may even see the ferrets.

Absolutely awful customer service from the staff in the shop, left feeling belittled. Would not recommend coming here at all. Staff talk down to you and look at you as if to say what are you doing here!

We like the cyder farm as a family, but was just told our 3 portions of chips will be 40 mins! I think maybe speak to the person leading the kitchen about cooking more than 1 meal at a time! Or maybe throwing some chips on with someone else's meal. Seems you could make more money with improved efficiency. Just changed my review from 3 to 5 stars because the nice lady at the till have my daughter some marshmallows when she didn't like the dairy free cake. Many thanks

Had a fantastic experience at the farm doing the fill tour, riding the tractor with the kids and seeing how all the magic happens. Plus getting to test a number of the different ciders as part of the tour is an ace bonus. Really great experience for all the family as there are plenty of things for the kids to enjoy as well as a wide variety of juices. Would love to go again.

Ordered a delivery to Manchester which came on time but with a box missing which had apparently been broken in transit. Staff couldn't be more helpful and sent the missing items immediately with a free glass for my inconvenience. Really enjoying the cider I received.

For years we had been coming to Cornwall for our summer holiday and have always fitted healeys into our itinerary. This year we were extremely disappointed, mainly the price, we would always do the tour and tractor ride as it was always More

Always have a great time at Healeys cider farm. The shop, the tastings, the animals, the tractor rides, the cafe, what is there not to like ? Well, for me in a wheelchair, the cobbles. I'm sure they aren't as deep as they were last year, but still so difficult to negotiate if you are disabled. Which is why they drop a star, sorry. Still enjoy my time there Thanks all

Bit shocking to be honest. Cafe was expensive for what it was staff were very slow and there were a lot of staff working. Nice variety of rattler drinks as to be expected but besides that wasnt anything special. Lots of children come with families and I think there should be a little park or play area for the kids. Animals were a nice touch point however the shire horse looked very sad and the stable was tiny. Donkeys also looked quite scared overall very disappointed.

Absolutely love it here!!

Absolutely love it here!!
Been coming since i was a little girl and even better now being a grown up, i get the tasters hehe.
My absolute favourite of all time is your elderflower wine i liturally would drive the 5 and half hours just for this wine!
Omg strawberry wine just when thought things couldnt get better all these flavoured ciders head explosion... love the little farm you've created was great for the kids.
I will be back

A lovely day out, even though it was cold and raining. We took the full guided tour with the fantastic Charlie, who had only been doing tours for a couple of weeks but seemed as knowledgeable as if he owned the place! Great tour and a brilliant tasting - very generous selection of all the produce on sale there. The oaked cider in whiskey barrels was a proper treat. Those who take the full tour - be advised that the free drinks tokens are for on the premises drinks only and don't apply to the bottles you want to buy and take home.

We had lunch at the Bottlery. HIGHLY recommend the pork belly burger, as it was the best I've had in a long, long time. The sweet treats are also excellent - lemon drizzle cake could have won the Great British Bakeoff.

The tractor drive around the orchard was very cold and wet, but there's not controlling the weather! I recommend a trip to the jam kitchen after to warm up. The staff there provided towels to wipe off my steamed up glasses without being prompted!

Overall, I think the people who work here make a good experience excellent. They are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I definitely recommend this to all with a family day out in mind - even the dog can come along!
