The process was fast and easy online. I did call customer service with a few additional questions after purchasing a term policy, and everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful. The rates are very fair and reasonable. You won t be disappointed.
Good experience, most challenging part is I have a condition which requires medical records and my doc took too long. A few observations, rates were competitive and though close to some other providers (Quotacy) but the fact that Mass Mutual backs them is important b/c their financial rating is high as is claims support in general. There is no conversion option to permanent, nor is there a child rider so it's limited but term insurance should be. I contacted customer service (by e-mail and phone) and response was pretty quick and staff knowledgeable. Policy begins this month, hopefully I'll never need this but experience this thus far has been good.

Straightforward application process. They are upfront about estimated monthly cost, rather than having to go through multiple steps. Associated with another institution. Did not take much time to go through the application process. Called them regarding a question a few minutes, and did not have to wait a prolonged period of time to speak with an actual person.
I recently applied for Level Term Contract from Haven Life. I am very much impressed with the entire process. Application is very user friendly. It has an intuitive User Interface and only relevant questions were presented (similar to turbo tax experience) and the entire process took less than 10 minutes. Upon submission, although I didn't get an immediate approval (because i don't have a primary physician), I got an email to upload relevant documents and to schedule medical checkup call. After the medical check up, it took only couple of days to get the approval email. I was presented with premium rate for the amount I had applied for along with the other options to reduce or increase the coverage. The Final premium rate is very reasonable and significantly lesser than what i have seen with other carriers. Entire process needs only electronic signature and there is a Live chat option within the website to answer any queries while filling the application.
Although I have not had to cash out on this policy, so far signing up, going through the health exam, and communicating with Haven life has been a good experience. They are very responsive and email or call right back.
I at first went with Zander, But they were not able to give me the first policy quote after receiving my health results. I m 27 and very healthy but for some reason they were saying I fell in the category of people that would need to take heart medicine? I had another exam only a couple weeks later done by Quest diagnostics through Haven Life and this time I looked at my results personally and they were phenomenal. When communicating with Zander multiple times they did not return emails, and when they did it was very vague and lacked clarity to my question.
Working with Haven live in comparison was a breath of fresh air.

They have a beautiful web experience with interactive estimates based on your age and coverage interest. From there it was pretty simple to apply, and about a week later a nurse visited to do an in-home evaluation. A few days after that I was approved and ready to go. I appreciate the effort they ve put in to making it a smooth process.

Finally!! A term life insurance I can afford. Every time I tried to get insurance to have piece of mind, I could never afford the large one time payment.
