Upgradable device. But the situation is unbeatable.

No clue what this hostel is by German standards, but by the standards of Russia it is a very wonderful hotel.

Good price and great food. We had full board and breakfast, lunch and dinner were always fresh and tasty. The rooms were clean and spacious, sink was in the room available (depending on the room). Sanitary facilities in the hallway, but very well done with single cabins with changing room. Some rooms in the new building even had a private shower in the room. The complex offers table tennis, billiards, table football, some also foreign-language books. A kiosk with vending machines was available and the staff was always friendly. So if deduction, then only for the not always working wireless internet in the lobby (free) and the expensive Wi-Fi in the room (not tried). But one should not forget that we still speak of a JuHe.

The food is disgusting and the heating does not work, although it is very cold.
There is no Wi-Fi.

I was last weekend because of a conference in the youth hostel Frankfurt. The hostel has a great location. The Main is right across the street, the old town just 5 minutes walk away.

The staff is very helpful and took a lot of time for me.

We also had a meeting room with a great view over Frankfurt.

Good to stay there for a few days, for example for a festival!

Good big city hostel. Good public transport connections, decor okay, breakfast okay.

The reviewers were rude, rude, and behaved as if their customers were the worst people.

Already at the entrance one gets a feeling how bad and grindig this youth hostel is. The rooms stink, stains in all sorts of colors and sizes, dirt everywhere, noise until late at night, ........ It really is not worth its money. There is a tent better!

Noisy when arriving because a summer camp had infested the place.
The return after 2 hours was perceived as an obvious aggression by the night staff.
The tiny, scratchy bath towels had to be bought.
The price of the reservation was not respected on arrival.

Nice hostels only the dining room is very narrow from the seating

Super centrally located and perfect for getting to know Frankfurt.

It's a bit far from the center but the view of Main is wonderful. The food is delicious too.

The hostel is better than the average three star hotel in Frankfurt in the Bahnhofsviertel. I was super satisfied and incredibly surprised.

Very clean, friendly staff and awesome location. Only the pillows...never slept on pillows as uncomfortable as those.

Decent rooms and, for the most part, good food. Overall, the hostel makes a good impression.

Permanent volume level even at night for every visit by noisy teens in the corridors, the traffic and the ongoing construction (at least only during the day). Room for a JH pretty clean and sometimes even wi-fi. Good to reach by public transport

The toilets are the horror. The whole hallway stinks ...

Clean rooms, great location and delicious breakfast. Every now and then a bit loud.

Unfortunately, you can not rate it negatively.
This is by far the worst hostel we have ever stayed in (family with 4 children).
Rooms with a nuisance, broken bedding, an electronic key system, the misfires every day and heaps of alcoholic half-strength in the hallways, the riot at night by two and bang on friendly address even the whole night to the room door. That was a real nightmare. We will never return

Rooms and bathrooms (shared) were adequately clean and acceptable. Food in the cafeteria was not great but decent. A couple minutes to a subway stop, walkable to many stores in the city and a safe location. A great view of the river Main.

They do not speak Spanish, it is a cheap and massive accommodation, it has shared rooms, it is clean and pleasant, the best breakfast, very complete and abundant, it faces the river and very close to the historic center (less than 10 minutes walking). you are looking for a cheap accommodation and tolerate a bit the noise of having many passengers, it is very good !!!

Too small shower cabin with insufficient storage space; Clothes and backpack had to be stored on the ground and were all wet :-(

For the price absoloutley okay. It's a great Bed and Breakfast Hotel but isnt ment for more.

Recommendable ... travelers can counteract a very pleasant place to rest. You face the river, it's a special landscape. Come and meet.

Great location on the Main. Lower standard for a hostel in facilities and food. The staff are not very friendly. This is a pity.

Inexpensive youth hostel with good connections. Breakfast disastrous, only good for an overnight stay.

The rooms are bad , there is 1 bathroom and 1 shower for one whole floor , thats about 10-20 rooms that share 1 bathroom. The service is bad since they dont realy care about your health, they just care about your money.

Central location, great service! The kitchen is being rebuilt, so unfortunately the food was not outstanding

Despite booking multiple rooms and check-in details clarification, the rooms were not available in the morning, so unfortunately had to wait until noon (at least we were allowed to leave our luggage)

Very good accommodation. It has access to all basic needs.

Worst hostel where I was. No soap in the rooms! Dust everywhere and the rooms are not cleaned! Not even during the stay! Not recommendable ! No ventilation in the shower and toilet, ventilation also stinks unpleasant. Doors not 100% closed and can be opened with a fist blow.

Structure conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the old town and cathedral.
Breakfast room and coffee in the structure.

Very nice and big rooms. Toilets and showers are separated. The rooms and toilets are very clean. The breakfast takes some getting used to, but still in order. Some of the rooms have a beautiful view of the river Main and you can be there in 2 minutes. Good connections to the tram.

Visited event in the room "Skyline Blick". My rating for this room: down to earth-good. In fact, nice view. Recommended.

In itself good service etc. however it is in the room a bit warm and loud during the night. Good location to the old town and good access to public transport.

Food is not so good and the house is a pure construction site

I have always been treated in a friendly and attentive manner. Single rooms are clean and of sufficient size. The water in the shower was warm and the food for 6 the portion was sufficient and tasty.
Nice location almost directly on the Main, not far from the center.
The most diverse rooms are available for seminars.
Price / performance ratio is very good, it is a youth hostel and not a hotel, you should be aware of that. Otherwise I can only recommend it.

Currently undergoing rennovation what it really needed (i will give more stars after it is completed).
Hostel is big and aimed to accomodate as many people as possible, hence the atmosphere is not the strong point of the place. The view from the terrace is fantastic, and the breakfast (included) is also very good. Every bed has a power socket next to it.

The administration is amazing all of them. But I will recommend people to read carefully what the hostel offer, because it is guided towards safety and learning, not party oriented backpackers.

The room stunk on arrival. The staff just comes in the room without knocking. The staff is rude. It's pretty loud. You are forced to eat faster when the kitchen is cooking.

Price performance Okey unfortunately old but are currently on redevelop at least once outside

Pretty nice. Breakfast was tasty. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But it was really loud, both from patrons of the hotel and people outside.

The hostel is perfectly fine for a short, inexpensive stay.
BUT
unfortunately the dinner was miserable. I'm not even talking about the blandness of a canteen meal, but about the fact that some of our tour group got stuck in the toilets after dinner with a gastrointestinal upset. That something is so wrong with a meal that several people get sick from it I have never seen in my many trips. Very unfortunate and terrifying.

Was there for an event, so can not report on dormitories and large Hagebuttentekannen. A tip: The Skylounge on the 5th floor is worth a visit.

It looks like the best location.

Top location, easy check in, nice rooms, fine breakfast

I stayed here with my father and cousin a few years back.
We got a corner-room that overlooked the Frankfurter Skyline and it was an absolutely MARVELOUS sight. The room was quite tiny for three people and although I found the bed to be very comfortable, my father and cousin founds them WAY too hard.
The shower has a good pressure and doesn't run out of hot water, but the bathroom is very small so you will get the entire room wet once you shower. As far as I can remember, the room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was big but simple and you get everything you could want - except luxuries, obviously.
I'd like to remark that when we got there, the reception had nobody on staff that spoke spanish, so I had to translate for an arriving spanish couple (we speak german, so we had no problem ourselves).
I'd also like to add that a Youthhostel is generally the cheapest option whereever you go and need a place to sleep. The spanish couple was a little put out by the prices, but again - it's the cheapest available option.

Remembrance, memory, I slept in this inn which had an extension in 1970 and in 1971.The atmosphere was very pleasant to the extent that we exchanged ideas, topics etc ... I did the service by washing the big bowls, we peeled the onions, the kitchen was downstairs (underground) .I was able to visit the Musem of Goethe at the entrance there was a statuette of a child sitting.On was mounted on the pedal boats on the Main, it was paying.Frankfurt was a beautiful city, large railway station with 32 lanes, the largest airport in Europe, highways etc .... She is prettier today, my wish is revisited one day.

A nice hostel. Relatively modern design. The idea with the room cards I find mega cool, because so everyone can have one, which is rather rare with keys. The food was unfortunately not so great, you had to pay with More

Rooms and beds are nice, there is a cafeteria, but no kitchen for cooking by yourself. One shower and WC for at least two floors.

My friend came over to visit and was surprised because it was cleaner than I thought.

The youth hostel is centrally located on the Main and on the edge of the city center in the Sachsenhausen district and is easily reached by bus or tram stop Frankensteiner Platz. Even the walk from SBahnhof Lokalbahnhof is not far and leads through the amusement district of Sachsenhausen with countless bars, restaurants and diverse snacks.

The rooms are OK, the food and breakfast in the canteen also. In addition to free WIFI, there is also a small kiosk in the house of my knowledge, but only in the evening has opened. Also you can rent the house for events, lectures concerts and the like.

It is a good and clean hostel and staff are friendly and helpful. The location is besides a river and so is a good sight seeing place.

This is a hostel! So don't expect a 5 star hotel. But it's very cosy. Staff is super friendly and the food is good. The house has a great view on the river and Frankfurt skyline.

I recommend. 20 . Purely in the center of the city, opposite the Main River. Purely...

Nice staff, decent breakfast. No WiFi in the room I stayed.

I was there for an event. The rooms were clean but sometimes quite small. Unfortunately, I can only give two stars, because the food was a disaster. It was really the worst meal I have eaten in my life. And I have eaten very often in large kitchens. The space where was eaten was in the classic youth hostel style. A rectangular room with nothing, except tables in series with chairs in front of it. I am 55 years old and was allowed to experience here once again that the youth hostels are apparently still the same as they were 40 years ago. I am not sure if you can / should give stars at all. But who loves the barren style is in good hands there.

Definitely recommended. Friendly staff. Good food. Extremely clean rooms.
