Very lovely and friendly staff
The place is very clean, comfortable and in the center of the city
The only problem is that there is no parking lot, that's why visitors with car may have problems finding a place to park

Hello. I have been here many times. 15 times in the last 10 years. I was always happy and the location is great. The next stay is already planned.

Not clean. Anyone looking for the same cheapest cold cuts from the day before and for 2 weeks every day is in the right place. The staff can't get the food out as requested every day. I am not particularly demanding but everything is just a cheek here .

A hostel, not a hotel, which many a guest might still expect. The stay is not cheap, but something like that can hardly be found in Frankfurt anyway. As a result, the accommodation is worth the price.

The house is centrally located, easy to reach with all the necessary shops nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful and apart from the fact that the guest can enjoy a 24 hour checkout, there is also free Wi-Fi.

House in general is clean, rooms and baths as well. Yes, they still have a bit of the charm of the eighties, a German youth hostel, with still strict separation of the sexes.

The breakfast is a normal buffet, with enough choice to be full. Of course it could be better, but why not just be satisfied and complain less.

Clean, bathrooms well suited, reception organized..the only fault lies with the internet which is virtually non-existent on the third floor .. So I would give a 5 overall note .. since internet is key.

Worst staff ever. Inhuman treatment of the guests !! Absolutely not recommended! Zero stars would be more appropriate !!! Downstairs rooms and inedible food.

Poor mattress quality, lots of bugs, and under renovation.

A nice surprise, renovated and impeccable rooms. A friendly welcome service. A strategic position to visit Frankfurt. If you can have family rooms or for 2 people then this is the top !! (condition book early before your stay)

Entrance was very clean, people at the front desk very nice. Prizes are excellent, but have accompanied only Erasmus students there.

Check out at 9 AM. They should make it even at 6AM. No WiFi in the rooms. It's like a hospital hostel. Close to the river. Breakfast is absolutely great!

I had made reservation online via DJH'S website, 1 day before arrival, but attempted to check in past midnight (came all the way from Augsburg by rail and S-Bahn). Receptionist could not find my reservation, checked my email but confirmation number was not present; email said it was not binding reservation, whatever that meant. Anyway, had to be rebooked from 4-bed dorm to 8-bed dorm,, bed 6, but now someone is in bed 6 so I settled for apparently vacant bed 8. Should have contacted ahead of late arrival to not lose reservation, but wondered if it would have made the difference.

Do not stay here.
We had so many issues with this hostel for the past few nights. I have been travelling Europe for 5 months in Hostels and this was one of the worst hostel experiences. The service at reception was inconsiderate, we had sleepless night due to excessive noise until 3am each night without the hostel taking any action. The wifi did not work. Even in common areas we all had a lot of issues even connecting. For the amount you pay it is not worth it.

The cleanness is highly appreciated, there are enough place to put your belongings in the room. The breakfast is not bad either, there are two types of the bread and the bun. They also provide the soya milk. Anyway good experience

Private room. Free breakfast. Cheap lunch and dinner. It is a youth hostel so lots of younger guests but very quiet overall. Location perfect for easy access to all of Frankfurt. Right on the Main River.

Horrible rude and inconsistent and incompetent personal horrible place, people knocking at random causing problems, nonexistent cleanliness, I often saw insects wandering around, not to mention the food that is so disgusting to cause me hepatitis.

Keep a family room with bath that was all okay. Three nights with breakfast, sausage cheese and spread and drinks. Location is simply optimal on the Main and not far away from the city center. You must not be sensitive to noise.

So when people write about "very nice lounge areas inside and outside" or even "top service" and "good food", one really asks oneself: "In what age were these people?". Definitely not in Frankfurt. The breakfast was terrible, or below the usual, not particularly high Juhe average anyway or is that due to Corona, that there is not even whole grain bread or some quark or fruit. And the coffee was a broth. But okay, then you just go around the corner and have breakfast in town.
The service at the front desk was marginal, at least when we arrived. We were promised a room for two people only (family room), but then it was said that we would have to share this room with others or
You should pay 24 euros extra. At almost 37 degrees Celsius, we were given an attic double room on the fourth floor, hot and stuffy to the point of dropping and so tiny that we could hardly move our luggage. That was too much. Thanks at this point to Mr. Fischer, who gave us a larger room the next day - upon request - two floors lower and with more ventilation options. So there was still something free.
The location is of course great (Museumsufer, Sachsenhausen, etc.) and that it is noisy next (especially in summer) you accept.

Worst treatment from the security guards. From 2 a.m. they don't open the door and are extremely rude. I've never been treated so badly. Big disappointment!

You can just be outside until 2 o'clock in the morning, which is a shame at the nice pubs around the corner. Breakfast and lunch are more Spartan in character

In order. But due to strong angles, especially in the upper part of the building, a bad orientation is required. However, I was completely satisfied with the food. For a school excursion so completely sufficient.

I've been a DJH fan for 20 years and I've never been to a more ugly hostel like this! Right on the street. Noisy, uncomfortable in the house, no lounge, the breakfast room has no atmosphere. .Never again!

Very nice and comfortable, however, are rooms from 4 people without towels in the included ...

Hard beds, clean rooms, a nice little bar, where you even late at night (Thu-Sat until 01 clock at night) drinks and small snacks such as sausage, pizza and the like gets.
Air-conditioned conference rooms, the food is okay.

I must say for this price is absolutely ok, but there s some issues with cleaning, got skin allergy because of dirty public shower and bed sheets...

Nice hostel, unfortunately a loveless breakfast. Would stay there again and again, because the location is very nice.

If it's cheap, it's fine. Some 15-20 if it is more expensive there are better things. The price shown must be added 3.5 per person per night.

Very bad! Initially the hotel and especially the rooms had a horrible smell. In addition, the ceilings and walls are in a miserable condition, as well as Sofades hanging on pole floors. Also all the meals were miserable and the
Wi-Fi is not even available on the ground floor rooms. Finally the service of the staff was unacceptable and often rude! In no case do I recommend it to anyone for the reasons I mentioned above!

All in all, single rooms have a great view over the Main to the Frankfurt skyline. However, during my stay the hot water in my room was broken and one of the receptionists was quite unmotivated to rude, so a small deduction.

The house has a super pleasant atmosphere! From the first contact with Mr. Franke to the night watchmen, everyone is in a very good mood, nice and helpful! The whole house and the rooms are absolutely clean, the dining room and breakfast dispenser hygienically and perfectly solved in corona times, attention is paid to mouth protection throughout the house, you can't do better! There are very nice lounge areas inside and outside and the location right on the Main is wonderful. I also love the locked storage space for bicycles in the courtyard, even covered !!! I can recommend the house without restrictions and would love to come back, thank you!

Clean, spacious and comfy.. centrally located. Poor choice of bread and spreads at breakfast, but not a big problem. I'd suggest adding the soap in the bathroom in the rooms. Too bad there wasn't a guest kitchen. Everything else is okay, I absolutely recommend

Rooms are pretty average and the beds aren't the most comfortable. But the good food and the beautiful and practical location bring positive points.

Loud kids at night. Other nights were fine. Free breakfast every day (bread,cheese,ham,cereal,coffee). Nice people at the front during the day. Free wifi but sometimes difficult to connect.
