Good hostel, stayed for world club dome, stayed 2 ...
Good hostel, stayed for world club dome, stayed 2 person in one bed, was no problem.
Good hostel, stayed for world club dome, stayed 2 person in one bed, was no problem.
The hostel is a bit worn since the last renovation but otherwise in order and clean. The beds are made upon arrival. You can not borrow towels, but only for 2.50 or 6 buy. It is located on the banks of the Main in Sachsenhausen amusement district and directly opposite the old town, so it is quite lively, but at 2 o'clock at night the front door is locked and you can not get in.
Clean rooms. Friendly and uncomplicated staff. Extensive breakfast buffet.
You should bring your own bed. The beds are the last as well as the comfort. It is said that there is Internet ... but it is only on the ground floor in the rear corridor. I write the recession so they do not fall for it like we did.
A great hostel with quite spacious and comfortable rooms, breakfast is included and there is the possibility of lunch and dinner. The position that is quite central is not good
I was with the class together for a night at the hostel. The rooms are simply furnished, as expected. The room and the house were clean and quiet. The dinner (warm) was ok. The breakfast with hot rolls was delicious. Overall a nice budget accommodation right in town. Gladly again
Well located, large and comfortable. Breakfast well served.
Very good atmosphere for an event with spacious rooms.
The hostel is very old. Although the inventory is in good condition, the building itself could use a renovation. At breakfast a little more attention could be paid to higher quality products (dry rolls, watery coffee, cheap sausage).
Bonus points are available for the ideal location
Very clean, well located hostel. Apart from the rather slow wifi, which is free but you can not complain
Everything is great. The girls at the reception are very polite and pleasant. Speak Russian)
I felt very comfortable when I stayed overnight.
The staff nice and helpful. Good atmosphere. I was able to walk to everything. The location was great.
Smart building, beautiful and with very good location
Good location, nice renovation, but this is a reserved seat simulator. bunk beds creaky, very hot, even with an open window (no air conditioning), but if the window is open - the street next to the hostel is noisy and I couldn't sleep well. You also need to remove the bed yourself and carry it to the cart.
Wi-Fi is only on the first floor. You need to buy a towel, plus a tourist tax, plus a map of the hotel chain, and in general it was possible to rent an apartment, not a hostel.
On the positive side - very good service from the staff and breakfast included in the price, location near the center and good view from the window.
Nice youth hostel, which is centrally located in Frankfurt and has a beautiful view of the skyline.
Actually 0 stars !!!
The rooms smelled of smoke on arrival, which did not change even after a 5h open window! The comforters were not fresh and I found "crumbs" or similar on my bed! The staff at the front desk also seemed to be hardly interested in our complaints. Not recommendable!
A good hostel for the most part, but not recommended due to numerous small annoyances.
Positive:
Beds, rooms and washrooms were very clean, breakfast was okay (except for the water, see below). The prices are very fair.
Negative:
Visible algae grew in the water dispenser at the breakfast buffet. I don't even want to imagine what was growing in the opaque orange juice container.
When I checked in I was told that I had to keep the key card for the rooms and the main entrance away from my cell phone, otherwise "the data on it would be deleted." Although I made sure to always keep the card and the mobile phone separately, I did not return to the youth hostel on the first evening. The card was then exchanged. If that had happened to me when I went to the bathroom at night, I should have waited in my sleeping clothes until the reception opened again. Total madness, you can just use keys.
The hostel is completely locked from 02:00 in the morning, so you can't even get in with your access card. The whole thing is then called "Curfew". I can babysit myself too.
In the room there is no W-LAN at all and the W-LAN in the public areas didn't work because of a "disturbance". Fixed internet-enabled PCs are not available. In a youth hostel, whose residents usually plan their trips spontaneously from day to day, this is of course suboptimal.
The doors of the toilets and showers close so loudly that I was woken up by them despite earplugs.
Great place for young people. Many students. Really crowded place. Clear and comfortable. But no free towels and free WiFi is only in public area.
Moin first.
It's really not bad. Beds ok. Breakfast everything you need, even hot cocoa * - *.
Just somehow always the same and on Sundays there is even a breakfast egg. Front desk: very friendly help as best they can. Explain this to yourself well if you need help. If you want to leave earlier and you really give half a day in time, you will get your money back.
Booking on the internet is difficult. I mean to say. What you are told when you book online is not always true or not.
My tip: write an e-mail when you can be there, how long you will be there, that you are leaving. Then you determine the rooms and you measure maybe 1-2 times moving from room to room. Quite honestly, I don't even find it bad. Sometimes a different point of view and in any case you have different new bedding.
Psssst. Even in the evening there are delicious crap like pizza for 4 euros :-p
Room very clean, great view, food goes well. Reception very friendly.
Magnificent Hostel.
Location not far from the center, staff are happy to go to the meeting.
Breakfasts are one that you can eat.
Rooms are large and neat.
Excellent location, absolutely central and very close to the center and the main metro stops. The services are quite scarce, a plus point for breakfast.
Clean and generally friendly staff. Only negative was no open kitchen for guests to use and no aircon
Top location, nice staff.
Ideal as a stopover for the airport :)
Nice rooms, but unfortunately very expensive and sometimes badly organized
Nice hostel right on the Main. Unfortunately currently still partially construction site.
That's a cheap choice and it's not so bad. The only matter is that you don't have the bathroom in the room but only the shared one
nice (cheap) location at the Museumsufer with a great view. There's everything you need nearby (bars, restaurants, museum, shopping, the Main, Bus/train)
Is a good hostel in itself. Rooms are a good size and are clean. There is also a lounge. The youth hostel is also very centrally located. Only the food is boring. Had almost only rice and a little meat in the days. There are also no real vegan / vegetarian alternatives. Otherwise everything is fine except for the food.
Clean and comfortable rooms include breakfast. But it's too difficult to find a free parking place nearby. Good location and walking distance to everything: supermarket restaurants shopping centre museums........
Food very bad, rooms mediocre staff, very unfriendly, inflexible
Good and cheap place to stay for a few nights for young people
The worst hostel ever! terrible service! only public toilet and showerroom are here. toooo early check out time. wifi is only available in a small public area on E.G floor. Bad room condition. you have to pay more than your expectation per person. you have to clean up your room by yourself.
In itself neat, cheap and central, but a bit run down
It's very clean, and the staff is extremely nice and helpful
Very decent location on the river and central attractions plus just around the corner for a good variets of local dinner and beer options, but annoying 're extra charge for sheets and membership, nice bar open late, helpful staff re what to do directions etc...and a pleasant stay for our group.
Good location and good price. I have been on two occasions (one in July and another in October) and in both I must admit that at night there is noise. In addition, the internet only works in common areas and the price of the hostel must be added to a card that is mandatory hacersw
Unfortunately only 1 star ...
The food is a pure catastrophe which equates to a nuclear catastrophe. Instead of eating here, I could also serve a week properly in a JVA canteen. Ask the following question: have they already tried their own food (hardly to reasonable). Room size is ok but the duvets have more holes than a Swiss cheese. Defects are unfortunately not in short supply
Excellent location. Friendly and international staff. Furniture and room in good condition. But very noisy, especially on the weekends. Breakfast room is a bit awkward in its set up. No organic options. Most basic breakfast you can get at DJH. Good quality, though. There is a court that one can use to have breakfast/meals. Crowded place. Caters to family, although backpackers and schools are probably the main patrons of this place.
Really mediocre. Nothing is really good but everything is ok. Rooms were clean enough.
The facilities are very good, and it is worth it as a facility that considers people with disabilities. The scenery outside the accommodation is also great, and the accommodation is also spacious.
The weekly staff was very friendly, and I was looking for hot water to eat Yukgaejang bowl noodles, but I was willing to give them hot water personally. (In the third photo, I chucked along with Mine River.)
There was a friction with the staff at night, but after a conversation with the manager who went to work in the morning, it was resolved very smoothly and satisfactorily.
The staff at night is said to be doing security work. But it is like that. If possible, we recommend that you don't talk, and if anything happens, brag to the manager who goes to work in the morning. It is said to go upwards.
Anyway, it was good. (If anything happens, re-emphasize the braid to the manager)
Breakfast ordered nothing, rude conditions, no medical assistance in case of injury (they do not even have a cold pack). In addition, a lot of noise. The only good thing was that the rooms were soundproof.
I don't know if that was due to the renovation, but unclean rooms and spider webs with flies on the ceiling.
Corridor in front of the room in the middle of the renovation mode, everything was dusty.
Since there are no parking spaces that you had to walk a long way or that the parking garage costs 50 for the hour
They do not repair devices that do not work the wardrobe spoiled for days
Youth hostel is already getting old. Doors of the showers and toilets can sometimes not close properly. In addition, there is a lack of storage options, making the clothes completely wet. In addition, the number of showers and toilets is very low.
The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet and dinner are good youth average. Unfortunately, there is only one portion at dinner, which is checked by means of coupons.
Great hostel, very central, large rooms, very nice staff. Breakfast simple but sufficient
cheap during fairs but everything is quite dated (old)
Great location. Beautiful view of the river Main from the bedroom window. New and nice furniture. In the room there are large lockers and a sink. Spacious and clean environments. Internal bar open until late. Breakfast included. Professional staff.
If you have to work in the evening and paid for the night: sucks to be you. You won't get in after 2 a.m. Employees wont even let me get my bag and get out of this place. Also warm water wasn't working, bathrooms are smal, dirty and (surprise) overcrowded during weekdays. Breakfast is included and nice. Beds are clean ( But locked behind door). Will talk about refound in the morning. Probably wont get it. There are HOTELS for 3 Bucks more a night. Always nice to be rejected for the night, luckily I can legally be at work in two more hours. I will spend my time searching for more Websites to give negative reviews. Karma sucks, doesnt it?
Clean rooms, great location next to Sachsenhausen. Inside there is an in-house pub for a nightcap. Breakfast is OK.
Great breakfast, large and clean room, good service, great price.
Best of all, the location is between two of Frankfurt's best places.
Due to the renovation, comfort is currently limited
By far the best hostel I have stayed in. Definitely the many hotels in the station district (... Red light district) in the same price range to be preferred!
At the reception I was received very friendly, exactly what you need after a tiring arrival.
My room was nice, modern and reasonably clean (in the corners and the wall was dust and crumbs, but it was fine), the beds comfortable, and also the bathroom can be seen.
The check-out was easy and fast. In the basement, the breakfast is served buffet style, with amazingly good coffee, of course, the classic a bit thin youth hostel juices (but that does not belong to the "Experience"?) And the usual range of sausage, cheese, jam, Nutella, various cereals & co ,
Great youth hostel when there's a youth gathering in the city with big amount of hosting to do
Where there is light, peace happiness and joy abound
Been there twice now and had a great time both times
Absolutely noisy rooms, whether from the upper room or from the street, you can hear everything very precisely. In addition, the existing wifi is a cheeky thing, because this is not functional, so to speak, nothing works and you are kicked out after a minute. Breakfast is okay, however, the rooms are clean as well.
Well-kept house, friendly staff, good food, great location, but especially on weekends, you may not sleep at night. When the courtyard is quiet, party noise from Sachsenhausen roared into the room until 6 a.m. on Friday. Of course, the house cannot do anything about that.
Seminar rooms were great, but a bit noisy in the area and many passers-by could look in.
Good location, in less than a minute you are on the Main and also in the city center on foot / by bus a stone's throw
Pillows could be better food too, the location is great, everything in all the eye is
Very clean rooms! Showers and toilets in the room! Is very central!
Very nice place. But only to stay if you are on rock hard mattresses. Otherwise ... Youth Hostel ... on the way to modernization
