A beautiful venue for the arts. All the seats were great.

Great theater. Every seat is a good seat. No bad view anywhere.

Excellent acoustics and easy to reach on public transportation

Best place in the city to see live dance. A lighting director's dream venue--everything is possible

Great sound! But very vertical and public school like lobby and stairs. Bring your climbing shoes if you have floor seats....

Some of the upper seating can be a neck strain as the stage is far below.

The design is very spare and modern, but the acoustics and sight lines are very good. It's a convenient and well designed venue.

January 24th Abbey Road performance was without merit for two reasons:

1. Sound was distorted giving drums and instrumentals priority over vocals. Somewhat improved after intermission then reverted back. Violinist solo was not heard at all in row Q orchestra until all other instruments halted.

2. Vocalists seemed to be just going through the motions. Robotic, without feeling.

If we didn t have to wait for friends, we would have left at intermission.

In the future more rehearsals are needed.

Great setup for a show, finding the entrance was a little challenging but obviously can't deduct a star for that

Got loaded with Moby Dick for Salt Lake City. It took awhile but i got to watch them tear a set down. It's a lot of work. Travis knows his job!!!!

Perfect venue for intimate performances. Tonigh, Music of the Baroque

Saw the most amazing show here the other day called, 'The Art of Falling'. Absolutely incredible show, the theater is gorgeous and the staff at the event couldn't have been nicer.

Our family was blessed to attend a family matinee of Cirque Eloize via USO of Illinois and Excleon Harria Theater! Catered lunch, hands-on cirque training, and tons of fun!

Spectacular Theater. It sounded great and the design very futuristic.

Really cool venue, mid size theater. Has a lot of really engaging performances and speakers.

Soviet era architecture, drab, sound just adequate. Not a pleasant place to watch or listen.

This is a pretty nice theater, I attended several Chicago Ideas Week events here and the sight lines are pretty good. There are a lot of stairs that are hard concrete, and the elevators are somewhat limited. Street level is above the upper balcony level, and the main floor seating is three levels down. Restrooms seemed somewhat small for the size of the venue. Seats were a good width but the armrests are very awkward, too high to be comfortable (I am about 5'6") and if you bring your elbows into your sides, the armrest is hard and presses into your upper arm.

This theater will make you want to love art. They always put on the best shows and have top quality performances. I recently went to Hubbard Street Spring Series and was blown away. They have Houston Ballet and Paul Taylor coming later in the season. Just a beautiful space to see dance and I recommended it for anyone who's into wanting a night of artistic culture.

Food trucks outside on the lower level. Cocktails and beer served. Right at Michigan and Randolph. All kind of nice restaurants nearby Millennium Park. Nice place to take the entire family. We were dancing in the aisles tonight.

Harris always book top notch entertainment, plus it's always family friendly.

Had the Chicago Innovations Awards here last week. It was amazing. A lot of entertainment and mingling. Super nice Networking event after hours. I would love to go back and see some more art!!

Modern marvelous venue with sensational acts and great seating

The Harris Theater is a truly extraordinary venue for performance.

Small venue with decent acoustics. Was there for a WBEZ event which was very enjoyable.

L-O-V-E this place. I would come here every week if I could. Every performance I've seen here was just amazing and uplifting. It's great that so many wonderful Chicago dance companies can showcase their amazing performers here. The place is always clean, well organized and the the theater seating is in a way that you'll have a good view no matter where you sit. There's also a cash bar.

Harris Theater is a great multi-purpose facility.A great feature is the on-site parking - completely avoids weather and other logistical issues. However, the on-site parking is priced highly.

I gave three stars over four because the talent, though varied, is not always of the highest caliber, and leans a bit too much towards social issues. We attend theater to be entertained, not for exposure to social issues.

Venue is nice. Their snacks area consists of one table and two servers/cashiers. No big snacks. Very nice staff all around. We parked at the Millenium park garage.

I really like this space. You enter at street level where the ticket windows are, and the orchestra level is actually down a few stories. There aren't any awful seats. A lot of it is terraced, so you don't have to worry about tall people blacking your view, etc. Drinks for sale in the lobby before the show and you can take it to your seat. The ushers were very friendly.

Amazing dance, theatre and opera programming planned for the 2018-19 season at the Harris. It's also a great space, with amazing sight lines, friendly staff and a downtown location with lots of parking.

A great theater to catch a show, but parking and access can be difficult if you re driving on the upper level near the park/lake.

Nice intimate space. Not easy to navigate if you are a person with limited mobility

The Harris is a delightful theatre. We have now been twice to enjoy Music of the Baroque. The theatre itself is easily accessible, with wonderful sightlines for most all of the seats. I especially have enjoyed the attire of the ushers (black with an orange scarf - very classy). It's also great that they come out at intermission to sell beer, wine, and water. The Harris is truly one of the great things about living in Chicago.

My wife and I recently attended a performance from the Music of the Baroque series. It was a wonderful to hear Haydn & Mozart played by such an accomplished and talented group, Allison Balsom was phenomenal! (I only wish she could've played a little longer).

My criticism is that the balcony seats are way too close to each other from front to back. I'm 6' and I had almost no leg room, it was worse than being in an airplane! Needless to say, I became very uncomfortable by the end of a two-hour concert.

One bit if advice, do NOT forget to get your parking ticket validated at the theater if you drive there and park in the Millennium Park garage (huge cost difference!). Prolly better to take public transportation there anyway...

I went there to enjoy student orchestra and amateur symphony but a professional pianist with. Its a fantastic performance.

Saw magician Jamie Allen. Really good show...theatre was clean and comfortable.

It was a nice show but the chairs were cramped very little room to move

What a great theater. All seats seem to have a good view. This theater is built underground so grant park is above the theater. It's also located just around the corner from the Bean.

Loved it...however, being from the suburb a little bit of a difficult commute..

The theater is a very nice space and the seating is such that there isn't a bad viewing point. The stage is medium sized and accommodates a production on the smaller side ( I saw an acrobatics Troup of about 9 people. A very nice place.
