Historic ranch land ranging from hilly forests to sagebrush fields to grassy meadows, all laced with trails for hiking biking and horseback rides. Some of the old ranch cabins are for rent for overnight stays, and are very comfortable.
Gorgeous day at Harriman, not all trails were groomed, but lovely
Went bike riding with family for Father's day. This park is so beautiful, but gets crowded.
World class fishing, horse riding great Idaho campground.
It was awesome!Best day of my life The wildlife id amazing!
Beautiful place! Great hikes, biking trials, and even horseback rides.
Beautiful country, awesome horse rides and the elk bugling was amazing!
Fly fishing paradise! Watch or wade in the meandering Henry's Fork River. Enjoy a hike or bike ride or horse back rode on any other the 24 miles of trails for every season.
A gem of the Idaho State Park system, wonderful in the winter!
It s the best, but please don t come here because I want to keep it all to myself.
We love going up here for "Haunts of Herriman" it has become a Yearly family tradition.
I really like Harriman state park. Good things to do and good trails. Really pretty with all the birds and I am looking g forward to taking advantage of the X country skiing.
Spectacular fly-fishing on the Henry's Fork. Fishing access and productivity vary widely throughout the year, so check with local guides/shops before you plan your trip. Can be as challenging as anywhere!
Been here many times. The yurts are highly recommended. Excellent place for family outdoor vacations. Make sure to book a horse ride with Dry Ridge Outfitters.
it's a pretty view and easy short flat hike, but there is a plethora of bugs everywhere. i left with tons of bug bites and they bugs are frankly not inviting me to go back.
Beautiful! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can bike, hike, or ride horses on the miles of trails. Support the park, if you don't have Idaho Park pass, and pay the very reasonable day use fee. Fun to look for otter, elk, deer, bear (signs of anyhow...tracks, stumps torn apart...), birds.
My in-laws have been coming here for at least a couple days' stay at the Dude Barns every winter for over 30 years. It is a magical place.
Beautiful place, great fishing and astounding views.
We stayed in the yurts! It was fun! Pretty empty in mid May, most trails were still closed. Saw loons, swans, pelicans. Didn't stay there too long, but would definitely come back!
Fun place to bike, and hike. Absolutely beautiful trails. The trails can be quite muddy at time so give it a few days to dry before riding after a rain. If you like bird watching there are many stunning birds and the trails let you get up close with the lake shore to see them. Don't forget your bug spray though as the mosquitoes can be bad in the spring.
We really loved walking around the lake and seeing all the beautiful birds and trees. Would recommend for a nice casual family walk.
Great staff! Very responsive to questions and working on issues we had while visiting.
