Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

Casino was over crowded. Not enough machines. Most of my visit was walking around. Party atmosphere. Needs more dinning options.

It was so much fun. They have a DJ from 8 to midnight. Had fun dancing. Yes gambling was good too.

Loved the environment... Great experience and It was fun.

Stayed here only one night, on a Sunday. Arrived around 11:30am and they were able to check us in then, which was fantastic. We loved the pool area with all of the jacuzzis and lounge chairs. The casino is varied enough and there are lots of food options. Our room was great - did not smell smoky and was clean and large. But best of all were the employees -- i did not encounter one person who wasn't smiling. Everyone was friendly and trying their best to make sure we were taken care of. Don't miss the brewery -- it has really good beer and a good vibe. We will stay again soon!

Horrible customer service at the hotel front desk. Everybody says something different, only a few actually know what they're talking about. Ripped me off for over $300 and charged my card without permission. I will never go back again! I highly recommend visiting Pala or Valley View as an alternative.

Nice place love the pool. Spa over priced. Starbucks way over priced ! Not much back for the price you pay for other things yes differently there to make a lot of . We well see again this summer how to rooms are. Last year over priced and need some .

Stingy during week with employees. Only one bar open on the floor. Craft beer bar not open. Employees not very friendly. Server took forever because she was spread so thin. Extra charges for wi-fi and other amenities

The card dealers are awesome and had a great time playing Blackjack.

Went for the resort day pass to enjoy the pools. The swim up bar and main pool were great. I was a little disappointed with the lazy river as it was more for the kids. There are a lot of fountains spraying water and I spent most of the time trying to protect my drink. The nachos at the swim up bar were really good and the $30 bucket of beers was a pretty good deal. I'd definitely go back, it makes for a nice Vegas style daycation but without the long drive.

Too much cigarette smoke, ventilation system needs to be upgraded, I've been to other casino's and they are not that bad. Usually I do not smell the smoke unless there is someone smoking close to me, but here it is bad even when no one is smoking anywhere near me. Yes there is a non smoking area, but it is very small and you have to walk through the the smoking area to get to it. You also have to walk though the smoking area to get to any of the sit down restaurants. I guess Harrah's doesn't care about the health of their customers or employees.

Anywhere with free tampons and pads has my heart. The buffet here is also so phenomenal. Great selection and very fresh.

This was my first time going with my co-worker and I loved this place. The employees were welcoming and professional. I had a great time on the wide assortment of slots and came home with a little extra cash!

Best Indian casino so far, but it s still not Vegas by a long shot. Machines are tight

Easily the most Vegas-like casino and hotel of the San Diego area resorts. Great pool, plenty of gaming, and excellent eateries.

The surroundings are good and I like to relax for a day or two.

This casino is one of the casino that remind me the bittersweet of life of how f-- up the world can be. It all started when I come on Friday the 4th of January, I have such a good impression of it but everything change on a Monday I wonder if these people that work here is racist or hate people but I will never forget the disappointment it going for me. I happen to park the car and this two security guy come to ask of the car information and other info, which I give but they use excuse of something not right when in the past if the police or security in the casino ask for my info, they are satisfy as say I am good. Therefore, why are these people acting like that? As I think something is off. They say for us not to be at the property on that day but can return the next day. I never have to deal with this kind of disrespect in my life. But in the end I respect their word and return the next day to see what their other motive. But, it seen to me as the old saying that a kingdom can change a new ruler but a person cannot change over night. For on Saturday the 12, 2019 on January, we did not park in the casino put outside were they use excuse to try to want use leave permanently that sound rediculus because when they with me it sounds different than when they say to my mom. We were doing the Tipsy Al and our money is in there. So we want to getgout money back butbsince the security and the other guy say we cannot return, how can we get our money back. It make me so upset but disappointed of how a casino so outstanding can contain such the like of these people working. When they tell my mom to leave, bothering her gamble, they ask her to go out quietly. Like what are there to hide and why the quiet as fishy. Also, my mom say to me that there are time that people sleep in the couch and they let it slide because that person is "White" while they get on her because she is "Asian". Sad as this is the second time that they ruin my day when a person do not know how their action can be wicked without understanding what their decision hurt other in the world. I will never forget this sad moment of this casino encourage people to have fun but in the end the vibe they give me is dissappointment. I will accept it is what it is and I will remember that if I do not have my money return then it give me a good lesson as "things or people is not what they seem to seem. A person action can be so wicked that it can hurt other. As they old saying, what a person say or do they can forget but a person can never forget how they make them feel. A casino that do not have a good right principle, no one will step foot in anyway. Two times they dissappoint me and to times they make me feel of not welcome. Therefore, I will Never step foot in this casino again. So it make me lol to hear they forbid us not to return as who they think they are. I hope that if the owner reading this than I hope he better improve his casino worker to be respectful to the client and not be a hater of favor one group of people over the other because word spread. The most this casino need is a new work of positive attitude to leave a good impression left from customer because this casino need more miracle than any other casino, especially the way they handle customer service. I never post a review but this is my first to share other as point out how wrongly it is of how this casino treat us. If I do not say it, how can other be careful. But they have a nice buffet which my mom enjoy.

There was a large variety of slot games to choose from as well as poker and black jack. The buffet was excellent!

This was a great venue to see Seether at. The staff was amazing. Easy access to the area they played. ADA seating could have been better. It was hard for my wife to see the stage due to people standing in front of her.
We will still use this as a place to see any concerts at. Great preside area for smokers.

Regardless of what type of room you book, they accommodate you in whatever they have.

This is review for my stay on Christmas:
Room - I was given a room that was very clean with a tub and fridge. It was spotless clean and bed was comfortable. I did have issues with the keys and had to go down to the front desk several times to get new ones. Also had issues with children crying and screaming in the hallways(in my opinion this is not a good place to bring kids). I didn't hear anyone in their rooms but just people having conversations in the hallway.
Pool - They have several hot tubs, 2 pools and a lazy river. The pools and lazy river was very heated to for the winter. Hot tubs felt nice I didn't want to get out!
Spa - I wanted to use the sauna, etc. But unless you book a treatment it's $40. I feel like it could be included with the resort fee.
Buffet - I had the $32 Christmas buffet which had so many choices. But I felt half the food was bland. I still found plenty of other things to eat. The dessert bar made up for it!
Casino - Slots VERY tight. However we had so much fun at the blackjack tables and roulette. The dealers were super nice and friendly. I won a few dollars which is fine. I'm glad I didn't lose a whole bunch of money!
Cafe - This is the only restaurant open after 10pm. Very overpriced and charge absorbent fees to go and room service. I wish they had a fast food place that stayed open later.
Tiers/Points - This is my main issue. I booked directly on the website to earn points. I was told any points that I earned from my reservation or playing would not be available until 7-10 business days. Therefore I was not qualified for any current promotions. I traveled a long way and I'm not sure how soon I can come back. Other casinos update points immediately to start earning comps. As far as I know they do not offer any promotions to new card members.

I had a great time it was pretty crowded and I almost got left by my ride because we went different ways after we ate and the cell phone reception is so bad in there I wasn't receiving there text or calls luckily I recieved about 10 text in. A row and called them right away they were in the car already driving away so they need to do something about that

Great hotel! Lots of choices for breakfast so you can eat in the hotel before heading to SD for the day. I was instantly impressed by the quality of their rooms upon walking in. The pool is pretty cool too.

I loved coming here mid-week. The hotel was maybe at 20% capacity--we never had to wait in line for anything.
Our room was clean, and fresh, and room service was on point.
The drinks from the bar at the pool--DIVE--were delicious and strong.
All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Its a pretty smoky hotel and there are no amenities in the room. Took me a few days to figure out that room service is ordered through the tv. Cleanliness was ok, dusty corners and seemed like the countertops weren't wiped down well. Bed was comfortable. Really upset that the pooled closed at 6 (late april) and as we were at a conference this allowed us no time to visit pool/hot tubs.

I thought I was in Las Vegas again. It had a similar look and atmosphere. The staff was awesome.

Havnt been in about 8yrs & still didn't disappoint! Had a blast celebrating all weekend! Deff. be back with the family for the pool!!

Cabana at the pool was lovely & worth the price. Would rent again.

Let me start off by saying I m not the kind of person that will write a review for a place. I was very has a tent before even coming because of the reviews that I read on TripAdvisor and some of the photos that I saw. Boy were those very misleading. This place was great , the staff was very friendly every person who walks by that worked there acknowledged you no matter what time it was! There s nothing like hospitality and this place had it hands-down . Thank you so much to the Harrahs staff ! I will definitely be back again

A couple worker was having her birthday party at the pool. The waitresses we super cool never let me go thirsty, and the seafood bucket blew my mind, lobster was cooked perfect, I never say that.

Stayed the night on a sunday. Me and 4 other people booked a cabana at the pool. The cabana was great!! Happy that they split the pool into 21+ and kids sections. The casino was fun. Won big at a slot machine. Overall, it was a greay place to spend a sunday.

Totally impressed, valet personnel were efficient and fast. I have never seen better. Staff in the casino were very polite and efficient. Enjoyed the experience immensely.

Went for the buffet was told that it was stellar....in my opinion it was mediocre

Was a very busy casino and hard to find a playable machine. I only stayed a few hours.

Attended a Marine Corps birthday ball and only stayed the night. Room was quite large and very clean.

Harrah's Resort aka Funner California..Best place to feel like Royal..Rooms are nice,the Buffet is worth the long line..

Thanks to these guys for finding my phone. Really didn't think I was going to get back but I thought it's worth a try. Called lost an found and they had it I was shocked. First time I ever go my phone . Going through my pictures one day and came to this picture. I thought it was cool cause ask security who returned it they didn't know. After see this picture I knew it right when I saw it. Thank you guys again for saving me time and the inconvenience of getting a new phone even though I'm due for one.

I love this casino, it's fun, they have great food, it's open and great customer service!

Comfortable beds, clean room, large bathroom, but no tub or baby cleaning table. Good food at a reasonable price.

Hotel, concert venue and casino are nice. Wish there was more winning, but still fun

Many hand sanitizers had nothing in them when I alerted employee's everyone of them told me to find another one....not good

Harrah s has really stepped it up the last couple years. For food, Fiores steakhouse is the spot. They also always have something going down by the pool either Saturday or Sunday football. Saturday is more of a club atmosphere generally. I would also say it's one of the cleaner smelling casinos as well, they do well with the ventilation for smoke.

I love going to Harrah's. .the staff is friendly and helpful. .lots of good food especially Ritas. .slots could have been better. ..they removed some that I liked

Don't care too much for Harrah's Rincon. Not enough staff to attend to hotel guests, unorganized, valet is good.
