Harrah's Metropolis Casino Review

Rooms are a little dated but the bathroom in the room was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Had my little one so I couldn't check out the casino, but it looked like it had plenty to do.

It's amazing but there wifi is kinda bad but amazing designed

We were coming back from my Grandma s funeral and this popped up in the middle of nowhere so my family thought it would be nice to spend a night in a nice hotel after eating a nice hot dinner. That didn t happen since we had my Grandma s kitten they wouldn t allow us to stay, so we went to the front door of the hotel talking about what to do at 3:00 am Sunday night and the security guard s made me my wife and three children leave the building since people always try to get in with their pets. We decided to spend the night in our van in the parking lot so we went in to eat without our kitten and we were told to show our pet and get out. I will never lose another penny in a Harrah s again. We ended up traveling another hour to spend the night.

Bathroom was not clean, floor was gross, and hair in sink etc.

I was really looking forward to seeing what this casino is all about but it's a big disappointment, the buffet dinner wasn't worth almost 50.00 the food was terrible and then on the top of it all the casino didn't offer drinks just bc your playing the slots. And hardly anyone in there. Never will go back

Never win at this place and the host really dont try to help when you need something.

Great place! Very clean rooms and they have pet stay rooms.

The location was nice. It was right off the Ohio River and next to a few local attractions. The room was very nice with alot of spare and amenities. We were not able to visit the casino but it looked nice. Everything was quite and peaceful. The food is pricey so we did not eat there but it is located next to a restaurant with really good burgers.

It was a great experience. I will be going back regularly. Everyone was so friendly. The hotel was very nice too.

Good place to visit I had fun and had my wife with me she had fun. Nice atmosphere and i won the jackpot June 9th a day before my birthday the 10th, driving from Murfreesboro Tennessee wasn't that bad but I had a good experience and can't wait for the next time

The lobby was clean but our room was not. Bodily fluids on the carpet and chairs. Their 'queen beds' are really full size. If you book a king size room they do not guarantee you will get it. Inexpensive stay but you might be better off in a bed and breakfast.

Didn't stay at the hotel, only went to gamble at the casino...

Minimal table game selection. Drove almost 2 hours to get there hoping it would be better than the casino in our hometown but it was a completely wasted trip. Nothing exciting about it. Nothing different than what we have here. Will not be going back!

I think they can do a better job at the poker tables. One of the regulars always gets overserved and is loud and obnoxious.

The excellent customer service was by far the best we've ever experienced as far as hotels go. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everyone that works here (from the front counter, to the buffet, to the casino) was extremely polite and upbeat our entire trip. We will definitely be back and highly recommended this hotel to anyone.

Just don't care much for this place. Way to small, not a good selection of machines, and staff is not friendly at all.

I when t there and spent so much money I was going to play on a machine that a man got up and left my friend set down until I was done with my machine next to her I grabbed the ticket that was in her machine thanking it was ares and I was told I stole the ticket that was its the machine I was escorted off the primeses and told if I come back I go to jail I try to talk to a cop who called his self Ace and all he could do is say I deal with people like you all the time I'm a nurse and go to church all the time and I don't steal but I was treated like I was a murder thank about this place one mess up and you are put out for life this place is bad news they lie here not a good place. My friends who work there know me better than that they said these people make some thing out of nothing all the time.

This place is okay. The room are not cheap but cleaned as if you were at a motel not a resort. They do charge a resort fee at the end of your stay. Although there is only a small casino with lots of penny machines. We tried to play $5 black jack but there were only 2 tables for that and they had lines the whole time we were there. They also have no pool or place to access the river they are next too. When asking them where the nearest hotel with a pool don't be fooled when they tell you a few hours away. There is a hotel right behind them with better rates, a pool and the rooms don't have mysterious loss pills laying around on the floors. This casino also charges you for your drinks. So be prepared to not only loss money at the casino but also on your not so clean room and the watered down drinks you have to pay for while playing there games that is also not giving any pay outs. All in all I would save your time and just visit the large Superman statue the town has to offer and keep driving.

So they charge to use the WiFi and I've never been to a casino where they charge to use Wifi

I will say the Casino part is nice, but as far as staying- highly disappointed. From the first night we checked in, they didn't have our room that we reserved, they were over booked as she said. So we had a bible queen.. which they couldn't give us a price before we checked out cause the screen wouldn't tell her.. mistake cause it was more expensive than what we reserved and not even what we wanted, then we get to the room its two full beds!! Highly picked. Room wasn't clean, stuff on the bottom of the bed, sheets were dirty. 2 different times the ladies at the front desk were rude, from checking in then asking a question

Get people who are better at customer service and like their jobs. Wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Drinks ate over priced and they act like flashimg lights make up for the low machine pay out
