Need more dealers when they open at 6 Blackjack dealers and nobody was playing Blackjack. Would like to see let it ride table and a four card poker table

Call center agent was very hard to understand. Booked a non smoking room. Upon arrival was told only smoking room available. They did make the room smell good and the room was great. All staff were wonderful.

I thought rape was illegal in this country, not at Harrah's Metropolis. If you're thinking about playing their slot machines, keep on driving. They might as well put a gun to your head when you walk in the door and take your money that way. It would be almost as fast, and you might even get some enjoyment out of that. That's how bad it is, and it' always seems to be like that. Save yourself the misery, anxiety and financial loss and DO NOT GO TO HARRAH'S METROPOLIS.

First off the hotel room is great. Big nice and comfortable. As for the casino? Dont bother. No pay outs at all unless you are willing to spend more than 200 to get MAYBE 150. Most games do not hit for free spins, bonus, or anything else. Games are also outdated. Not much worth playing. One floor casino and most space is taken by the table games. This place is dead. So unless you spend nights here (mine were free thank goodness) its a waste of time and money. Will not be coming back.

Nothing short of criminal, the people who run this casino and hotel should be put in prison for life. Lets start with the casino: you would be better off being held up at gunpoint, at least you would get an adrenaline rush out of that. Playing their slot machines was like getting thrown out of an airplane without a parachute, straight down and fast with a hard crash at the bottom. It's nothing to go 50 consecutive spins without even getting one credit back. That happened on almost every machine I played. On top of that, they charge $7.00 to use the ATM. The way they pilfer money, they shouldn't charge anything to use the ATM. $6.00 for a hotdog, $18.00 for a 1-item pizza. I stayed at the hotel and they ran a promotion which kept coming up as soon as you went to the casino's website, however when I tried to book it, it came up $8.00 more plus they charged another $10.00 for "other fees". They would not honor their promotion price, and the hotel staff acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I have been to many casinos and this one is by far the worst I have ever experienced. This is the first and LAST TIME I will ever set foot in this casino. One more thing to add....it's supposed to be a non smoking environment, the hallway on my hotel floor smelled like stale cigarette smoke or mold, or both. I had the worst time ever. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from this place.

It's alot of fun. It also is very stocked with money and fun. I won 786.00 dollars on a penny slot machine

Rooms were quite 'dated' but clean. Staff were all awesome!

Fun place but they machines are tighter than a sailors knot! Doesn t exactly make you want to come back to donate everytime.

Don't go if you think you will get to play a while on a smaller amount of money.
10 mins $40 gone. That would have lasted me 2 hours at the horseshoe :(

Went to casino.couldnt win on any machine. The dinning had very little to choose from.its no smoking so if you're a smoker you had to stop playing and cash out to go smoke. We will never go back to that place..........

Loved the hotel, very beautiful rooms and the bathtubs are huge. Staff is very friendly, the front desk gentleman Cameron was phenomenal. Thank you all for the amazing experience!

Sorry but this place is a joke. 80% of their machines don't even let you work the arm. half of them seem to be under some type of maintenance. And none of them paid anything. This is the third or fourth time we've been there and never won over $20 and spent two or three hundred. If you want a good time go up River to Evansville. Tropicana at least you do win. One $400 one Time one $500 the next time and help to pay for the trip the fun and the room. The staff is clueless and people just walked around and didn't care about nothing. It's a little casino it's cheap do get what you pay for I guess? that motel was excellent for the price of $48. It was clean and was superb. Great staff in motel!Don't waist your time At the casino. Kinda trashy comes to mind.... good luck !!!

Rooms are clean and orderly. Buffet selection was awesome and quite tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. All in all a great time!

Very dated hotel. Rooms are ok, clean, just a little worn in places. The casino was about the same. Not a huge selection of the new games, but enough to keep your i terest for 1 night. A whole weekend is a bit much as there are no other close casinos. My host contacted me the moring we checked out, not the 2 days earlier when we checked in. I just assumed the host did not work on weekends. It was fun, just not a Great Trip worthy.

Nice casino. Lots of slots and plenty of table games. Seemed a little crampt to me. The hotel rooms are amazing. Lots of space in room and bathroom. Also had a mini fridge. I will definitely return.

The lady name Jennifer at total rewards Harrah's metropolis need to change her tone of voice when she talks to people because she sounded so rude and annoyed,I was just asking information to book a room.

Wonderful Beautiful and Laughlin chops for dinner and a movie with my friend and Baby Girlfriend and Rafeill Hugs to you and your family members that have been a good day and time to meet up with you and your family members and their families and there's a lot more BLESSING for me to come.

They have new slot games that I haven't seen at other casino's and that's always interesting, yet they have the favorites that most casino's have as well. They are friendly and helpful and everything is clean as much as can be excepted when they get overrun by a huge crowd. They have been doing quite a few renovations and making the place very nice. There are some areas of concern in my opinion. This is all about the casino floor, I have no idea of the hotel. They have all table games in the middle of the casino and you have to walk around a long oblong set of tables to get to the outside smoking area, unless you go out the front and down 15 or so stairs or a long ramp. They do have very nice he at lamps for the smoking area's. I'm disabled so that is troublesome. They have 2 bars but close them fairly early due to Illinois alcohol regulations. They serve til 3am but then have no drink stations for patrons to get there own drinks. They will get you mom alcoholic drinks if you go to the center bar and have a cocktail server, most of the time. They close every morning at 6am for a 2 hour clean and turnaround. I find that off putting as there are no days they are open 24 hours. If you're staying there and having a good time overnight, you're done at 5:45am or in my case travel 55 miles and only occasionally, then plan accordingly. I haven't tried the restaurants or buffet and when I asked several guards and floor staff about them, no one was very well informed. I plan on putting that on my survey should I get one. They are making hours of restaurant changes as of Feb 1st, 2019. Call and speak with them, as the phone staff are well informed. I'm aware they have rules and regulations to follow, just seems poorly ran and a poor sound system for the guest to hear announcements. Hopefully, some of this is part of their new renovations. No one could really tell me that information either?!?!? Fun as far as a quick outing and close enough for me, but wouldn't pick this as a fun destination for a weekend gambling trip. The one restaurant doesn't open til 7 am, so you can't even go eat while they do their cleaning turn around. Accommodations don't feel planned for the patrons. They are friendly though!

I'm not a huge fan of casinos, and this one seemed like other casinos to me.

It has a hotel it has 278 rooms in it and you can go through the lobby to go to the river boat casino part it has two or three restaraunt in it I don't know how good they are but I looked at the menus and they are somewhat high. The hotel has no swimming pool and I think you have to be eighteen to be in the hotel but 21 to gamble.

Explain to me how a casino can say you are talking to loud when you are having a conversation with the person next to you? The bloody Mary's are to die for, but most of the staff was rude.

They have the friendliest staff and a very clean facility. A great place for a quick getaway.

The poker room is great if you want to be kept waiting needlessly because they don't have another dealer and scolded like a ten year old. If you prefer someplace that is fun and run by competent staff, then keep looking.

The staff was very nice. Nice assortment of slots. I didn't win, but had a good time. Good food in the buffet. Decently priced.

It used to be great but the services are getting worse they have taken away drinks and other stuff for gold card members and only Dimond and seven star member get everything so if have to spent lots of money here to get great service

Was just picking someone up but I've had fun at this place in the past. I was surprised to see they had down sized the actual casino. The rooms I've had in the past were nice and clean though.

Was good lost to much money. Haven't been in a couple of years.
