An excellent experience in this place, very nice and nice for work and family reunion, I recommend it to 100, I hope to return soon.

Nice staff but expect peak prices for everything outside the hotel.

Totally run down and way too expensive for what you get. Old everything the rooms are dingy and the price is high. Totally in desperate need of room renovations.

Harrah's Lake Tahoe has very comfy beds that were not hard like other hotels I have visited. The bar service was quick and the drinks were amazing. The hotel was clean and the rooms come with two bathrooms which is different. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the near future.

Not much has changed here. Can still park for free and wonder around South Lake Tahoe, State line and Heavenly Village. Always nice people.

Still not bad in the time of the Rona but still not the same

The Forrest buffet had a wide selection of food at a great price. The casino employees were very friendly and made playing craps very enjoyable.

Not as great as the bigger harra's in reno and Vegas, but charming.
Restaurant on the 18th floor overlooking lake taohe, highly recommended at sunset

Just a nasty old hotel. Reminds me of Hot Tub Time Machine when they got back to the hotel that was nice 30 years ago. Potential bed bug feeling.

It was difficult to find an employee to give directions or information about dining.

Bed is very comfortable. TV was too small and remote control kept turning off TV when you pressed any buttons on it.

Love Lake Tahoe, but the rooms at Harrahs need to be updated.

Small casino hotel. Rooms are decent size and clean. Pretty good but I think I'd stay at Harrah's next time

Always enjoy going to the arcade game area with my son. Only casino in South Lake Tahoe that has entertainment for kids.

Second year in a row that I have comes here for a conference. Second year in a row that the elevators stopped working for a short time. Second year in a row that the included Wi-Fi has been slower than my cell service. Rooms are decent, but fix things please.

Just passed through but wanted to see the sports book. Plenty of monitors for all the games and races and the boards displaying all the lines were laid out well and were easy to read. I was pleasantly shocked to see that the sports book was actually a non-smoking area!

This place has an awesome buffet on the top floor and it also has great arcade games for kids.

Being there for 4 days definitely showed us that some of the employees, waitresses, check on clerk and security we're extremely rude

While shopping in a small gift store we were being ignored by the staff who was also trying to talk over us while we looked at merchandise, so we left. We decided to visit another hotel and as soon as we stepped outside we heard a man yelling excuse me ladies . It was a security guard and he was running after us. There were two of us and we both stopped. He approached us and asked us for out ID. I of course produced mine immediately not understanding what the problem could be I was clearly 21. After taking both of our ID s he then asked why don t you tell me what you did with the Hello Kitty wallet? Both of us stunned we couldn t speak. What? I said. The security guard (Phil-I believe) began accusing us of stealing a Hello Kitty wallet. We walked back in with him assuring him we didn t steal anything and were greeted by another security guard. We were then told that the clerk in the store had SEEN us steal a wallet and they expected us to produce it. I was wearing a coat with two pockets, sweats, and a t shirt. I immediately emptied my coat pockets, removed my coat and lifted my shirt. My friend emptied all her pockets as well. Now, it is clear we do not have the wallet however; we were STILL detained for an hour and a half in all the explaining and talking back and forth with the lying store clerk. After some time I began to demand they check the cameras and return my ID so I may leave. The security guard admits that they had done that and in fact we did not steal anything. At this point my friend loses her temper and demands to see someone in charge. An hour and a half of battling and being unlawfully detained and THEY KNEW WE DIDN T STEAL ANYTHING!?! A supervisor comes to talk with my friend about how sorry they are and how embarrassed they are and please accept 6 (six) free buffet coupons for the next day for the incontinence. I thought this was a joke. It had to be. Not only did you just steal my time from me but if I want any kind of an apology from you then it has to be tomorrow between the hours of 6 and 10 am? And what will I do with 6? Bring my colleges to brunch while explaining the hotel falsely accusing me of stealing?! At the point I was angry. It has been hours since we were stopped for something we didn t do and I am hungry and need to go. The security guard FINALLY returns my ID and gives me the names of two people to contact to resolve this issue since I am clearly not taking their free buffet . I am given the names of TOBIE WHIPPLE AND SAM SAVICK. I begin making calls a few days later and I was told it is actually SAMANTHA SAVICK. I started with TOBIE WIPPLE because I was told she was the person in charge and SAMATHA SAVICK was her assistant. I left her 4 messages for TOBIE WIPPLE and she never called me back. I then moved on to SAMATHA SAVICK. After 3 messages to SAMATHA SAVICK she finally called me back. She said she had been on vacation and only recently got all my messages at once. I explained the entire experience to her complete with dates and times. My friend had forced the clerk to come and apologize for lying about her so there was no dispute this had occurred. SAMATHA SAVICK listened and made promises to look in to the details and she would call me back. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK. Even after numerous follow up phone calls she never called back. I believe we were targeted because my friend is often mistaken for a lesbian. We were chased, harassed, accused, detained and when I tried to get resolution I was lied to and ignored.

Casino air was typical and smokey, quite crowded on weekends

I enjoyed my stay at Harrahs in South Lake Tahoe. Room was spacious and large in size, with two bathrooms! A nice large cousin and nice Views of the lake! Self parking is easier than valet. hallway carpet was loose, a hazard!! In walking distance to the many shops. Right on the state line! On the Nevada side of course!

Played some craps and Pai Gow and had some fun dealers. They also had a fun arcade for the kids. Although some of the driving machines were a little broken.

Greatt place for a weekend getaway. Friendly staff. Nice casino with the option of using/earning comp points at harrahs across the street since they're both owned by Cesar's. Room had a great view of the lake as well.

Harrah's Lake Tahoe's excellent however Harrah's in Las Vegas is really bad. Harrah's South Lake Tahoe the restaurants are not that good. In fact they are really bad! You're better off going to one of the restaurants locally or to MontBleu Casino to their restaurant.

I did not stay overnight at Harveys on this trip, but have many times in the past. This trip was dedicated to gambling. While Harveys is slightly less updated than its sister property, Harrahs, it is still a fun gambling environment.

Nice casino, I went to grab a fatburger. Service was quick and the food delicious

The Sunday night buffet was good, but could have more variety for red meat and pasta sauces. I liked the fact that they have french fries. The desserts were excellent

I stayed at this hotel for three nights during this month with my friend and the staff had great personalities everywhere, I loved it. But, during the second night of our stay I was repeatedly seeing black shadows that we're going in and out of the picture beside my bed. It was shortly past 3am and I woke my friend up to see if she could see it too, she said no. We both heard knocking on the door and on the table in our room but there was no one else moving in the room and no one at the door. We were both scared and decided to go down to the casino, I went first into the hallway and was waiting for my friend, when I walked in the hallway there was an old man, a transparent figure just walking around and it was really weird. He wasn't talking he was only walking back and forth at the same pace. We just went to go get some coffee and came back up to the room and we both heard a name being called. Something like Larry. It was a harsh whisper. We just tried to ignored it and stayed in the room. Around 5am the next morning we woke up from our blanket being tugged on and we both saw the same shadow in the room but just a black mist going into the picture going straight into the red part of the painting. Then, that night around midnight we went down to gamble and we saw the SAME MAN walking but this time a clearer picture, he was wearing a green shirt with flowers and shorts with white shoes. We stood by the elevator and he was just walking down the hall from end to end. We were terrified and couldn't wait, we checked out as soon a possible.

Just went for a quick day trip to see Lake Tahoe and to let my 80 year old father gamble in a famous casino. He had a grand time. Lovely shops in the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Took the kids to arcade. They had fun. Then we took pictures with the wall print of a Forrest and made it look like we were legit in a Forrest. It was dope af. I wore my Leonardo blue mask from the Ninja turtles that we had just won from the arcade.

We only stayed for a little bit. Everything was fine.

Probably my favorite casino in stateline. Harrah's is always my go to but I want to see a better sports book location. I guarantee that hundreds of people would love a sports book with a sports bar and it will be best for business as they say on wall street.

We just stopped by to play some slots. Wish the machines would pay off better.

Me and my boyfriend literally were sitting at home and goggled where can couples travel around Oct.South Lake tahoe pulled up,and were HERE!The views were BREATHTAKING!!A relaxing way to just unplug!

Stopped by Harveys casino during my last Tahoe trip. Good service and lots of new slots. Will come back next trip!

We went to Harrah's for the Forest Buffet. That was a mistake. $75 for dinner for two and it was mediocre at best. Crab legs were fishy, everything else was just not good. Even the salad bar was lacking. I've had better salad bar options at Chuck E Cheese. Although there were several dessert choices, most were not as good as they looked. The only good thing was the pecan pie.

Casino floor was packed with no regard to social distancing except at tables. The crab and steak special @ $29.95 was excellent. Tables were socially distant.

We go to the forest Buffet every time we go to Lake Tahoe and it's always been great I gave it 4 stars is this visit was pretty subpar and we are very disappointed. However we've been in there at least 8 times so over all our experiences are still good. Just a side note it's very Smokey and hearts casino and Harvey's is not as bad so if you're looking for a smoke-ish free casino Harvey's is a great place to go.

Well, it's a Casino. Not much luck here, kinda the same old, same old over the years, not much changes here.

It was a nice hotel got a day late but they did everything to help us.
The only draw back I see is the rooms don't have a coffee maker, small refrigerator, other than that very nice, friendly and clean

Staff was very friendly and inviting, but the variety and state of the buffet was a little disappointing. Everything was clean and organized, don't get me wrong. For what my party paid to visit however, it would have been nice to have seen more options.

We only went to the casino and had quite some fun. The service is quute good, with regulat drinks and friendly staff. It can get quite hectic on weekends, but that adds to the fun!

Elegant facility. Fabulous buffet in top-floor room. Other restaurants serve good food but curtailed open hours don't serve the public well. Noises on the casino floor suggest at least some slot players are winning, but we seem to win less here than elsewhere.

We just went to Harrahs to see the casino and do some gambling. Very smoky but fun environment.

The place smelt like cigarette smoke almost everywhere

Times have changed. Not a fan of the new machines, but still a nice place. Fatburger and The Forest are awesome. Good drinks at the bar/from servers too. A good stop in Tahoe, but if you're from Sac and just want to gamble, hit up the Indian casinos.

Here with the g-kids to try the buffet at the Forest Buffet at Harrah's followed by a magic show (Masters of Illusion). All was wonderful!

Bartender name Rodolfo, told me if I'm 7 stars, I said no but I'm playing, he refused drink, his supervisor named Diliama vorenkamp came and asked me if I wanted free drink, and I said no thanks I need good customers service.

I did not stay here too long, but the location of this Harrah's is spot on.
