We had a lot of fun here. My son loved the arcade and pool, and for us, the room was really nice (and very comfortable bed). We didn't gamble. Only 4 stars because the line for the buffet was so long (we waited almost an hour before we walked away) and there isn't a breakfast place besides Starbucks or room service (which was worth the high cost, btw). This place needs more food options and to have a bar at the pool.

Took my kids to the buffet...I guess it's different in Nevada, but everyone was smoking inside the building...disgusting. I thought it was a family place, but I'll never go back or take my kids back.

My wife and I were married last weekend, Valentine's Day, and without asking, Harveys made the weekend very special. Our room was a whole lot better than expected. The staff members treated us like we were at a 5-Star Resort in Europe or Asia. I have stayed in many fine establishments, and this is one more. Everyone from the Valet Parking Attendants, to the Check-in Staff, all the way to the Starbuck's Baristas provided first class customer service and I felt as though I mattered.
This was my first time staying there, and next time I go to Tahoe, I will stay there again.

I liked the restrooms because there were plenty of urinals and stalls. Gambling was okay. I wanted to learn ultimate hold'em but the dealer was hardly willing to help me learn. The California Bar drinks were a little light on the pours. We tipped well on our first round of drinks so I don't think the bartenders were targeting us with weak drinks, though. Overall, mediocre experience at best.

Came as part of a group trip. The "deluxe" room in the Mountain tower was oddly shaped and looked pretty old inside. The bathroom was probably the largest part of the room, while the closet was a small sliver at the window side of the room. The room was pretty dusty on the tops of visible surfaces like the headboards and you could see corners of the room hadn't been vacuumed completely. What initially looked like staining on the window drapes ended up being mold, which my wife is variously allergic to. The second night, she had difficulty breathing and hives. The front desk moved us to a different, much nicer room, which gives them an extra star in my book. However, the staff seemed somewhat indifferent to the actual mold problem when we tried to supply details. (They may have thought we were only trying to get a free upgrade rather than trying to point out a serious problem.) If you stay here, definitely get an upgraded room. It might be better for your health.

The food options are good but the pricing is ridiculous. We are already spending money gambling and then thet charge 3x the amount in food. The atmosphere is good, a little smokier than other casinos.

My visit was limited to the18th floor buffet, which was great, and the arcade. Buffet good all seemed fresh and was very tasty huge dessert bar, skip the cannole to dry. Prime rib was tender and flavorful. Arcade offered plenty for many11year old boys and even friends5,7 and8 year olds. Very helpful and friendly staff

There's a casino in here, I don't gamble personally but it's there if that's your cup of tea. The rooms were great, stuff to do for the kids if you have any.. In general a great place to stay overnight if you're ever in this part of town. You do have to pay for parking, it used to be free, that's the only negative I can think of..

Clean, spacious room with a great view of the lake. Two bathrooms, which my fastidious wife appreciated. King-sized bed was comfortable, crisp, fresh-smelling. We did not try the buffet -- for one thing, when I went up there, the radiant heat from the sun was like a microwave oven. Although the air temperature was OK, the unobstructed sunshine was too uncomfortable for me. And the crowd...not worth it when the food reviews were mediocre. Still, the hotel was excellent.

My wife and I ate at the forest room on the 18th floor of Harris. Present your players card and receive a 4 dollar discount per person, after the discount it came to 20 dollars per person.

Brought kids to the arcade while parents went gaming. The game machines were in good condition and working properly. That may seem a small detail but when you have a group of kids it's perfect when no one complaints about lost coins or bad machines. They had a great time.

I came here for the fourth of July, I had an amazing time and had dinner and drinks at Harrah's which was fantastic. The staff was friendly and the hotel did not smell like smoke which was great. I will definitely be returning here for dinner.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly waitresses and great slots. Stayed over night and loved the hotel accommodations: fitness centers, pools and a spa all on the first floor. And at the top an amazing view with great food at the steakhouse and buffet.

I have not stayed at this hotel, but every time we go to South Lake Tahoe, we visit our favorite bartender at Harrah's. We also like going to Cabo Wabo, for live music and betting at the Sports Book. The Sage room is an amazing restaurant, inside the casino, it has delicious food, and a very cool atmosphere.

You wouldn't think so, but this 7,000 person converted parking lot is an ideal place to see a concert. I had the privilege of seeing 2 Phish shows here in the summer of 2013, the second featuring the legendary "Tahoe Tweezer" (Steve Wozniak was also in attendance).

If you're looking to take a vacation and would like to visit casinos, hike, and take in great concerts- Harvey's Lake Tahoe during the summer is the place to be!

Our group of nine dined at their restaurant on 18F. There was a good variety of foods and desserts in the buffet line. The quality was just okay and reasonable for the price. And the place was very crowded with long wait queue (we visited around 6pm on Saturday.)

Stayed thereJuly 28-31, the 1st night we got in late so had a garage view, the room was ok , 2 bathrooms ,both very nice flat screen TV ,on next night we got a mountain view but lost the updated TV and the 2 bathrooms weren't updated. The service, well you won't get drunk there, lol dropeed 200 before I was asked for a drink and they dont come by very often ,unlike the Rio. All in all I will go back

Went in for the arcades, some nostalgia as this was my favorite place as a kid. Was very disappointed by what was there. Numerous machines were out of order, crane games were literally empty. 3 basketball machines and only one actually had any basketballs, and that one was missing some.

All in all a disappointing experience that could easily be made right if the place was taken care of.

Have came here for a while. Dislike getting ID checked every 10mins on floor. Rather take myself somewhere where I can gamble in piece. Good food, casino for older people. Not friendly to under 30s as we were constantly provoked trying to enjoy our stay.
Edit: I am not staying here ever again, stopped when getting my rewards, stopped going to the bathroom, final straw is getting stopped as I was leaving. Seriously least friendly service I have had at a casino or hotel.
