Harley-Davidson of Appleton Review

We have purchased 2 bikes from Russ at this location. Our first, unfortunately was lost in an accident. From the time we bought the first bike, through the year of owning it we visited the shop often and I would like to say have made friends with the employees. After the accident they went out of their way to check in and see how things were going, looking to help out anyway they could. The transition into a new bike, and even riding again was almost impossible for me. I can honestly say, without the help of the sales dept and owner and riding academy, I would have never been ok with getting on a bike again. They don't sell you things to make a buck, they bring you in and continue to treat you like friends and family. Will NEVER go anywhere else to buy a bike.

Their parts guys are awesome!! Really helped me out. From now on only going here for anything I need for my bike. *Even though it's a two hour drive for me, totally worth it.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming - retail and parts sales. Love that we can take the dog in store to shop. Store is clean and organized.

The service department is knowledgeable and friendly.

Everyone is always friendly whenever I stop in and the events are always a great time! Always enjoy stopping in for a visit or event!

Always get great service on my Ultra Limited and every employee will go out of their way to help you out.

Great dealership, nice size. Lots of choices of decor and bikes. Great motorclothes department but when asked if they had any 5xl men's "dealership" shirts, the lady looked at me and said, here we only go to 3xl, shrugged it off and just walked away from me shaking her head. That was not cool. So we left. But there was a cool bike there, oh well.

I don't know if there is enough room to share the awesome experience I had at Appleton Harley Davidson. Every aspect, person and department was outstanding! This is my second Ultra Limited and I am thrilled. My wife and I went to this dealership to buy a bottle of Quick Wash and had zero intentions of getting a new bike until we met a fantastic sales associate named Jennie! Jennie is the best sales person in any category we ever dealt with. She made us feel like people not just customers. She also has a knowledge base the will rival many others. Thank you Jennie not just for being a wonderful sales associate, but also a compassionate person. I would also like to mention Russ the sales manager who is meticulous with the paperwork and makes you feel comfortable and at ease during what can be a stressful situation involving money and Terry at the service center who is a can do guy who gets the job done. Both these men are to be commended for the excellent job they do. I wish I could remember everyone's name at the dealership that day, but I would like to recognize them all, they do an amazing job! I'm sure we have all been in situations where we walk out wondering what just happened and maybe have some buyers remorse, but for me personally, I walked out of Appleton Harley Davidson with full knowledge of what happened. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, anytime! Thank you Appleton HD, you have my utmost respect.

I m enrolled in the Learn to Ride class. Just finished the first riding day (in the rain) with Tim and Tom as the instructors. Despite the rain, the instructors and the class are great! I would highly recommend this class to any beginner or experienced rider. You will learn a lot! Looking forward to class tomorrow.

Staff is good there, but unfortunately I am seldom able to shop there, I run into the same thing every time! "I am sorry! We are out of that item, but can order it" FYI I could have ordered without wasting a trip there! So again, on my way to Green Bay.

Great shop! Took my bike in after sitting for 2 yrs. Runs like the day I bought it now. Terry is very professional and knows what your bike needs and doesn't push things you don't. It was worth the $ and the hour + drive to have the bike serviced there. Won't go anywhere else.Thank you to the service tech that put a disabled vet back on a smooth running Harley. Fantastic job I can't say enough.

Another amazing experience... was assisted with a new helmet as well as picked up a vest I had trouble originally finding..

Does it get any better than this? I'm not a rider but had to go in to get a gift for someone and I worked with Rachelle on the sales floor. She rides all the time and is very knowledgeable with the Harley brand. She was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere is comfortable and overall a great place to come. Definitely worth traveling a few extra miles for.

I have had nothing but positive interactions at this Harley Davidson location!!! Despite their prices may be higher than some other locations, the knowledgeable people there make it well worth it. If you have the opportunity ask for Abbi - she knows what she's talking about! She'll find you the best riding gear necessary to be safe and stylish on the roads!

I wear a helmet with a sena 30k they could have set it up for me before i left there and found out i needed more stuff to set it up. I purchase my bike on a Wednesday and i was in a different dealer on Friday ordering parts to make everything work. I will say that DOC'S harley-davidson of shawano county did step up and listen to me and is setting my bike up even though i didn't buy my bike from them.

Starting with Bob and Jimbo in service Dept. as well as Troy and the tech (Troy I think)they fixed a problem that had been to another dealer several times.
They went WAY above just doing their job to make sure that before I left everything was operational and I was instructed in the operation.
Something that the dealer where it was purchased did not.
Can t say enough good about any staff that I interacted with.

Today we went to Appleton Harley Davidson at 2pm. They close at 4 and its a Saturday. My husband stopped by the service counter to explain that his Freewheeler had a blown shock and was wondering if it was under warranty. His plan was to set up an appointment to get it fixed. They took the bike right back and replaced the shock and changed the oil!! They close at 4, but the employees stayed until 4:45 pm to get his bike up and going. On a Saturday! Dont hear of that type of service anymore. We were very impressed by what they did. We will definitely go back again (and again).

Store general manager should not be a manager at all! Extremely rude and needs to learn how to work with customers. This will be brought up to corporate!

If you cannot treat your customers right, especially those who are making a profit for you, then you shouldn't be in this line of work.

Don t special order parts from them they come up missing and tell you it s your problem.

Awesome dealership! Huge selection of bikes and everything to go with em! Fantastic staff that treats ya' right! This place is pretty big as far as dealerships in the area. That being said they have a large selection of new and used bikes. Big variety of parts and accessories, and if they don't have it they'll order it. Service department is fantastic and asks the right questions concerning your bike and upgrades. Sales and financial staff were easy to deal with and very helpful. Motorclothes ladies are always smiling and fun to deal with! I live an hour and a half from this dealership and am never disappointed after visiting Appleton Harley Davidson. Highly recommended! 10 stars!!

Very friendly and warming staff. If they don't have it they will find it and get it for you. If you need a answer on something they won't stop until they get the answer for you. Well worth the stop and they are always willing to help.

Well they're on you like white on rice the minute you walk in the door they want to know can I help you and if you tell one of them once you've got four or five others that are going to just come in what can I do to have you on this bike today well for god sakes you can price them under the ungodly amount they're selling them for. And what's up with the extra $224 extra service fee do they know that it's going to need that much service already before you even get on the bike? There are outrageously priced and over pushy staff really put me over the top obviously!

Always greeted with a smile and a 'Hi Bubbles' when I walk in; makes me feel welcome right off from the first step in the door. Everyone is anxious to help you with whatever you need and if they don't have it in the store they will look it up to see if they can get it for you. They will even help you when trying on new clothes letting you know if it looks good or not. If you want a good experience come check them out. :)

Came here for a charity event with high hopes. Almost everyone was great and the event was nice...but the Harley-Davidson employees were very rude (that s an understatement) . Very disappointed, never going back.
