An absolutely spectacular garden full of fascinating works of art. More than worth the trip!
An absolutely spectacular garden full of fascinating works of art. More than worth the trip!
Despite the weather on our visit, this was really good. The trail was lovely, the art work fit perfectly in the wild gardens, in great harmony with the nature around.
Lovely natural gardens, fabulous sculptures and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Only downside no cafe, but they had thoughtfully provided cold drinks for free. Plenty of tables and chairs for you to sit at, so maybe bring a picnic and don't forget suitable shoes, ground is uneven.
Lovely peaceful garden. Some of the artworks are lovely, although they were a little disjointed, with no apparent theme to link them. Still, a nice little walk around. Bring a flask, there s no cafe.
Beautiful woodland walk filled with wonderful sculptures
Visited this amazing place today, with my family. What a beautiful and amazing experience. The setting is stunning and a perfect backdrop for the incredible artwork that you discover around each corner. We loved it and particularly enjoyed exploring these amazing gardens and stumbling across the next unique piece unexpectedly. It is a unique, serene and relaxed environment, in which to appreciate these incredible sculptures. Perfect visit.
Absolutely stunning place to visit! I cannot recommend this beautiful garden enough. You are greeted at reception by such a wonderfully charming lady and then you are off...drifting through tranquil woods, glades and lawns and admiring wonderful sculptures in such natural settings. This certainly will not be my only visit.Fully deserving the five stars I have given!
Lovely location. Peaceful. Can take dog on lead too.
Nice gardens, peaceful, bit out of the way but worth seeking out.
Interesting place. Some fantastic pieces. Also an enjoyable walk.
A lovely place to explore with beautiful sculptures in varied mediums. However the ground is often uneven and/or slippery.
Solid 5* for the garden. Great place to spend few hours hiding from the sun.
What a fantastic hidden treasure!
My daughter loved it, I loved it and my mother loved it.
I will be going back on a warm sunny day with a picnic.
Fantastic venue, thought provoking sculpture works. Definitely recommend for an afternoon out, a very special place.
An amazing place. Calm and tranquil with incredible sculptures placed on short walks.
The garden is beautiful and a magnificent setting for the sculptures.
An incredibly enchanting afternoon, very well worth a visit.
What a lovely peaceful sculpture garden trail in spite of the planes flying overhead that quickly faded into the background as you wandered along pathways by pond and stream, through woodland to stop and gaze at a host of sculptures in a More
A hidden gem down country lanes, not open every day but well worth making a trip here.
Must see place. Wonderful placed sculptures in an amazing landscape
Beautiful gardens setting for some very impressive sculptures. I came away very inspired and would go back again.
Lovely hidden gem wish weather had been sunnier to show full beauty of this spot. The only tip I would give would to try tackle the algae on the water and be able to have a coffee and a sweet treat whilst appreciating the surroundings.
Beautiful sculpture garden, thoughtfully laid out, wonderful pieces. We went on a rainy day and had the place almost to ourselves. The weather didn't diminish the garden at all. Perfect
We had a lovely day walking through the woodland and ponds admiring beautiful sculptures. Definitely reccommend a visit
Worth every second spent there! Harmonious art&nature! Well done!
Ok, not as interesting as it used to be. Kind of samey.
What a beautiful place to spend a few hours.. landscaped gardens and amazing sculptures. We were lucky enough to have the pleasure of Hannah's company while we enjoyed a coffee and a slice of cherry Bakewell (highly recommend) in the pop up cafe.
Tranquil place that soothes my soul whilst stimulating my senses.
Really nice place to go with the loved ones. Perfect setting that is very serene and peaceful. Room to have a picnic near the parking area but do be aware only a few tables available so picnic mats recommended if you want to be out by the grass. A fairly large amount of sculptures with many different themes, nice and friendly staff too. Do be aware that some of the routes are not completely flat so plan accordingly! Recommended.
Beautiful gardens with hundreds of sculptures. Well worth a visit.
A great place to visit. Enjoyed walking the trails around the landscaped gardens with the added interest of some unique and unusual sculptures.
Amazing garden with many amazing sculptures, great experience.
A fantastic place where art meets nature. Fabulous!
There are truly no words to prepare you for such an unique enchanting experience, you just have to see it for yourself!
My wife thought this garden was exceptionally beautiful garden. I enjoyed the game of guess the price of the sculpture and the more "interactive" pieces
An utterly enchanting place. Leave yourself plenty of time to get lost in this wonderfully curated environment.
I visited 1996. A nice and wonderful weekend. Some friends brought me while I lived in Bournemouth for a few months. Appreciating the gardens was heavenly. The Green Bouquets. Beautiful. CONGRATULATIONS
Difficult to find without satnav but well worth the effort.
Nice little sculpture garden. Beautiful surroundings. Worth the trip if not too much out of your way.
Nice way of looking at art.. it was very magical, a lovely way to spend the day.
Wonderful place for those who love art and wandering among trees. Extremely friendly welcome and helpful guidance.
What a fantastic day out
I especially loved the sculpture by Katie Netley
What a special wild garden with about 100 superb sculptures in exotic marbles and mixed media. Well worth visiting. It took us 3 hrs to wander the many paths, see and photograph things. Takec your own picnic as no cafe. Children loved it too.
This garden is stunning, lovely woodland underplanted really well with some fantastic sculptures, highly recommended.
Fantastic gem. The sculptures change on a regular basis so we will definitely be back. The garden is beautifully designed and very tranquil.
We visited on a fairly dull day that later turned to rain. It didn't dampen our enthusiasm. This is a rather magical landscape put together by some very skilful artists and designers. The landscape feels very natural in a perfectly planned sort of way. You will find that you will move around the garden and find a different viewpoint for a piece you had previously visited, this time framed in a different way. The overall feel is of a tropical jungle no doubt helped by the rainfall on our visit. Having been, I wonder why it took us so long to visit; we will return soon.
A beautiful site, difficult to find but essentially worth the effort. Personal aesthetic preferences aside, that this parklike, open air place to display sculpture of normal domestic size, variety, medium and theme was refreshing, gratifying and good for the soul.
Lovely hidden gem. Warm friendly welcome from staff. On arrival you are given a guide to the sculptures with route directions to follow so that you dont miss anything. Gardens are stunning and very calm and peaceful. We spent a very enjoyable 2-3 hours here. No refreshments available so pack a picnic. Plenty of picnic tables available along with hand sanitiser and anti bac spray to wash down tables before use. You need to prebook at the moment as entry is limited to ensure social distancing.
Beautiful natural and wooded garden but controlled and well maintained. A few labels naming some notable plants and shrubs would be welcome.
Excellent. Such beautiful suroundings and interesting sculptures. Bigger than we thought and truely magical
Brilliant thoroughly enjoyed our visit with vouchers bought as a Christmas present by my daughter .Will definitely go again in a different season
Nice staff and eventhough it
was closed we could visit the garden.
Great display of sculptures set in lovely landscaped garden full of secret spots.
Interesting sculptures, many for sale, dotted about in lovely lush gardens and woods. Peaceful waterside location.
Interesting and unusual art gallery. Open air and set in lovely woodland. A sunny day is best.
An extensive, varied and fascinating collection of sculpture set in a a garden full of trees, shrubs and water providing the perfect backdrop to the many works of art. A good 2- 3 hours needed to see them all.
This is very different place to go for me .The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a place you would chill out and look at the different sculptures.
If you are in the area do not miss this gem! It's beautifully surreal and tranquil. Make sure to give yourself enough time to explore it all as the place is big and there is lots to see. Thanks for the young lady at the reception for being so nice and friendly.
