Love this place great selection of clothes great style price is a little high but they have a huge selection

Best selection of the best snowboards. Good selection of clothes, and on sale prices.

Go somewhere else, overpriced and terrible customer service.

Had an awesome experience with JB and Alex in the snowboard department. These guys were not only knowledgeable, but super pleasant and patient when helping me try on snowboard boots.

These guys must have their sales tracked or work on commission, but they had a no pressure, customer service based approach.

I hope to come back and buy a pair once I m done with my research. Service like that makes me want to drop my cash there.

*Update* - They have a strict "no refund/Exchange only" return policy. Make sure you will not be returning any expensive items, otherwise you'll be stuck trying to figure out how to spend store credit on things you don't necessarily need or budget for.

Keeping it at 5 stars because I want to support local, support the kids that work there and they have a right to set their own policies. I just wish they would mention that upon checkout, especially for large purchases.

I have been shopping at Hanger 94 for 25 years. I started shopping at Hanger 94 when they never carried longboard skateboards. They said they were too expensive to stock on the shelves. I had them order my first longboard. I now have 12 longboards skateboards. The best shop to get skateboard.

Best local skate shop in San Diego
Been shopping there all my life but its a little pricey. They always got plenty of staff to help customers out. They have just about any board sport related products, clothes, shoes and accessories. I always thought they had great shop decks for skating but I didn't see any when I was last there. The skate shop is upstairs. They carry all of the best brands

Best selection around for Snowboard gear. For this reason alone I have to rate 5 stars. From Oceanside to Chula Vista there isn't anyone that has the inventory of Hanger 94. In North County Hansen's is the only other place that has a respectable inventory. Hanger 94 is worth the drive!

Surprisingly decently priced on a lot of brand named stuff. Of course the newest items are still a bit pricey but you can find a $50 shirt for $25.

Really disappointed with this place. They stock premium items, but don't stand behind them with their customer service or return policy... pretty much just a warehouse... not going here again..

Apparently a heavily tattooed person cannot shop here without being suspicious. My girlfriend and I were heading to the beach and I decided I would like a new pair of board shorts and whatever she wanted. The young Asian girl running the cash register felt the need to call her coworker to watch me (yes, I heard it on the walkie talkie). Feeling offended I continued my shopping but obviously felt uncomfortable. Didn t find any board shorts but did buy hats for my gf and myself. Walk up to the cash register and the Asian gal smugly asks me for my ID..keep in mind, I used a debit card..not a credit card. You would think a place that caters to surfers and skaters would be a little more open minded. I know the owner could care less but I ll never shop here again.

Huge selection of action sports equipment & sports wear. 4 * for being full retail price. T-shirts for $30, hybrid shorts for $60 etc. If your not looking for a bargain & know what you want they'll take good care of you.

Hi, today was my second time at this store. First time I was at the store 3 weeks ago to buy a wetsuit for my daughter and today for my son. Both times we spent for about an hour at the store just trying to find the perfect fit. The employees are super friendly but my only concern is that the AC WAS NOT ON !!!! both times while we were there.The outside temperature was about 87F and inside was even more, especially upstares in the small changing room. My son had a difficult time to put the wetsuit on, because he was sweating a lot and could not bread under the mask . Even my daughter and I had hard time to breath. We wanted to look for more stuff but he didn't feel well and was very exhausted and we left. I am very disappointed with the way you are taking care of your customers besides the friendliness and professionalism of the employees.

I have been here several times to buy shoes and skate boards for my kids. The staff is always friendly.

5 stars just for Alex and Hayden's help! It's not just that they saved me some money, they were stoked on snowboarding, and willing to try a few old parts to help me out, and take the time to do it. 5 stars, they are the reason shopping locally is worth it!

Love the large selection of surfboards, wetsuits, clothing and accessories. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

This is a good outlet-type store with skating/snowboarding gear and apparel that is the optimal shop for sale items and footwear. I recommend this store, only one downside is the customer service is too intrusive and doesn't leave you alone to shop.

I can't stand how closely they watch you, it's uncomfortable. I feel like a prisoner. I've been shopping here for 10 years, if it's really that big of a deal for people to LOOK at your products then block them off. No one wants eyes on their every move

Expensive items but friendly staff. Has everything you need for surf, skate, and snow. They will watch you and follow you as if everyone is a theif but they do have expensive merchandise so it's understandable.

Their return policy is extremely strict so make sure you want to keep what you are buying. Do not make any purchase here expecting a refund. At best you will get store credit.

Their waxes and tunes to snowboards are sub-par. They have young guys doing them who haven't done them nearly enough times. Get to the mountain early and stop by your favorite local shop and have a professional do it instead. They have done it many many more times.

If I ever have a question about surf or skate, i can always rely on them to give me the correct info and proper recomedations

I purchased a surf watch from them. After getting home and giving it to my brother for Christmas present we found out that it was broken. We called the watch company and learned that the watch was two years old and the battery was dead. When i took it back they refused to give me my money back all they would do is exchange it. I didn't want another watch from them that was two years old with a dead battery, for $135 i wanted a NEW watch. To me that sounds like a company that doesn't stand behind the products and takes advantage of the consumer. I would never shop there again.

It s a cute place but forget about it if you are a bigger size!! Especially in the women s department

They have a good selection of board sports gear and clothing but they stuff tends to be more on the pricey side of things.

Left me on hold for 10 minutes when I asked about prices. Don't waste your time on the phone. I've gone there several times for specific things I knew the price for and it's great with the free popcorn and quick help you can get. But don't call for anything.

1st visit ever, and was never attacked by sales personnel. hell, i didnt even know that the owner of the shoppe was the one who was assisting me. goes to show, be kind to strangers, they'll be kind in return. i ended up buying a new board/stomp pad, boots, gloves, pants, and socks. ever so helpful along the entire way, was the crew. i only spent an hr there and walked away knowing that i spent money/invested money thru better decision making because i was kept informed by the knowledgable, like-family-oriented staff.

There's a great selection here but is very expensive. Not many sales going on very often.

Bought my GNU Hyak here staff is supper knowledgeable.helped me build that bond with the board. Thanks Hanger 94 I love my board been having the best time on it . Drop the money with these guys no better investment than a quality board.

Colton was great. Stopped in to check out some wetsuits and snow gear and Colton helped me find things that was check my boxes. He was so patient and informative, I felt no pressure what so ever and learned a lot about different brands and options. Thanks for that!

I left the store about an hour ago and wish I asked the name of the three young men that helped my daughter build her first skate board. All three were juggling the skate & surf department efficiently with a friendly, positive vibe. She's stoked, I'm excited for her and the level of respect & kindness they showed my daughter & I made me a customer for life. Thanks so much gentlemen & thanks Hanger 94 for employing such fine people.

I arrive 6:40 and they rudely turned me away at the door, saying they were already closed. When the store hours says Sunday 7:00pm
