Very serene. I was given a very thorough massage of trouble areas and sound advice on things to watch for as far as diet, sleep, etc. I would recommend going here if you suffer from chronic pain.

What a relief it was to find a reputable spa open and available on a Sunday!!! The location is fantastic, really nice. I had an injury I needed addressed and they got me in right away and the massage was fantastic! I wouldn't question this location in the least - it's reasonably priced, has great spa options and is really committed to the wellness of their clients.

I always have the best results whenever I see Ellen M. for a massage! She really has a sense for finding the problem areas and giving extra attention to those muscles. My neck and shoulders give me a lot of pain and, after a massage with Ellen, I leave feeling like the range of motion in my neck has increased dramatically. I also love the relaxing and peaceful feeling upon stepping inside Hands In Harmony. I highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for pain relief, relaxation or both!

Tappi Hughes was terrific. That was probably the best deep massage I have ever received. She was professional and provided the right pressure. Very relaxing.

Beautiful spa very friendly I may have needed to request a more experienced therapists I just took who was available he did the oddest massage I ever had. I wondered when he was going to massage my back he did pressure points kind of. Not impressed I was surprised he was done he never got

My name is Godfrey, I received my very first massage today at Hands in Harmony. I must say it was by far the best massage I ever had. I'm sure there entire staff are skilled but I had the pleasure of experiencing the hands of Heather and I don't know if I want anyone else to do my massages in the future.

The only reason I felt comfortable giving a 2 star review is because my massage therapist was phenomenal, both stars are intended for the therapist and not the company itself! I have had a few other massages, so this was not my first ball game. I won a gift certificate in a raffle for an event that I have attended for 3 years in a row called Steaks and Stilettos. It is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity's Women Build. Hands and Harmony donated the gift certificate for a Hot Buttered Rum on the Rocks and I won it in a raffle. The event was in July. I have a pretty busy few months(I work full time and go to school full time) so I scheduled an appointment a week or two in advance online, because I was worried they may not accept it if I dont use it in time. I chose a combination massage when scheduling my appointment. There is no excuse for how I was treated when I walked in. When I walked in I told the lady my name and told her I had an a appointment for 6:15. Everything seemed fine until I showed her my gift certificate. Her demeanor changed completely and I felt instant animosity. The girl says to me, "oh, this is not the same massage you scheduled online." I apologized and told her that I did the best I could to match it up but I couldn't find the exact one on the gift certificate. She stated that generally, people call first before using gift certificates. She told me that I could not receive the massage on the gift certificate because everything that went along with setting up the massage on the gift certificate would take too long. I asked her was there any way that I could just reschedule for another day. She said yes, but they will still have to charge me for the visit that I scheduled today (Oct 6th) because they have a very strict 24 hour cancellation policy, and unfortunately there was nothing she could do. I was very calm in the situation, and I asked her how much the massage is that I scheduled online. She told me 99 dollars and also stated that whether or not I got the massage I would be charged the full amount. While going back and forth with her, she receives a phone call in the middle of our conversation. She tells me to hold on and attends to the person on the phone. When she is finished with the phone call, I inform her I was not prepared to pay this amount today, and asked her was there ANYTHING else she could do? She stated that she would see, goes into the office and sits at the desk with my certificate, and briefly looks at the computer. She comes back to talk to me and tells me that she can use the amount of the gift certificate towards the massage I scheduled online, so I went ahead with the massage (because I felt like I was threatened and had no other options). Also, I had a very stressful week and I was in desperate need of a massage. So I was forced to use my $137 gift certificate towards the 99 dollar massage. When she took me back I asked her what would happen if I were to just leave? She told me that my credit card would be charged, regardless because I put it in online. (NOTE: When I was able to get to the website today (October 7th) from my computer, I confirmed that I never actually put my credit card information in when I scheduled the appointment, like I originally thought, so I am not sure why she told me this) .

To summarize, after being threatened, lied to, and manipulated, and losing out on 38 dollars of the massage that was DONATED by this company. With everything that I had to deal with before the massage, I did not feel very relaxed after because I couldn't help but to feel played.

For anyone else reading this review in the Cedar Rapids area: Before you schedule anything with this company and you are looking for a basic massage without all the extra fees and charges, go to Be. Massage Therapy (it is on the other side of 32nd Street behind Hy Vee). They have great prices and the staff are ALL very welcoming. I will never recommend anyone to this company due to the pure disrespect from the receptionist.

My back was in terrible pain from tense muscles. This was my first appointment and it won't be my last. When you enter the room, soft, calming music is playing. Its a very welcoming atmosphere. Stacy did everything possible to alleviate my pain. My back feels so much better and I no longer have a headache or pinching in my back. Reasonable prices, as well. $40 for half an hour and $75 for an hour. There are also hot stone massages but you need to check pricing. Thanks for a great first visit.

I only go to Hands in Harmony for my lash lifts, eye brow wax and tint. Nicole was the only person that took the time to actually shape the brow. Always great service and zen environment.

I think Hands in Harmony is the best spot in town. I went to another place that was new and closer to my house. They got me with a membership. They forgot my bookings and didn't honor massage owed me. I made a call to Hands In Harmony to get a massage and literally got every knot out of back. They are awesome!

Had an excellent combo massage with Melanie. She has a great energy and is very attentive and accommodating to unique needs. She demonstrated several massage techniques and let me choose the massage that worked best for me. I felt very welcome and comfortable with her and felt great (mentally and physically) leaving that day! Will be working on the stretches she taught me to improve my posture and flexibility.

Very easy to find- across from the Oakland Road Hy-Vee. What a great atmosphere! You walk in and the beautiful aromas relax you immediately. The stones all around are mesmerizing. It is such a peaceful place. I have been having leg cramps for a couple weeks and had a wonderful combo massage from Jo Hawkes. She used craniosacral therapy and deep tissue massage on my lower back and legs. I felt like a new person afterwards! There is also a float tank which I have heard is a fantastic meditation therapeutic technique. The prices are super reasonable as well. I highly recommend Hands in Harmony!

I had a trigger point massage with Matthew, it was amazing. He listened to my concerns as I have a shoulder injury. Matthew was able to loosen my muscles, & releave the awful pain & stiffness
I was experiencing. After spending time with him I also learned that he is a seeker of medical healing & knowledge. Massage therapy is truly his passion in life!

I came there with pain in my lower back and arms, all went away after my visit. They did a wonderful job I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Amazing! I have a frozen shoulder and Kimberly has been great trying to help me through it! She combines deep tissue therapy to unlock the muscles with cupping. I have seen many therapists at HIH and have never had a bad experience but I love that I can schedule on the weekend, it's so much easier with my schedule and such a bonus that she does such a great job!

The place was very nice and inviting but my masseuse seemed uncomfortable. I had signed up for two massages, but when I mentioned this the masseuse left and said she was going to ask someone she came back and said I only signed up for one. I went to go pay and was going to be charged for two I was highly disappointed that I was told I only signed up for one and was going to be charged for two.

Absolutely horrible service and experience. If anyone has questions as to why I feel this way please reach out to me and I will personally inform you. Don t waste your time here.

I booked a massage session for my mother wrt her Lumbar Release/Lower Back Pain (LBP) with Ellen Meyer. And after this session she was feeling very relax and satisfied. All the people were very welcoming and completely professional. I will for sure recommend Hands in Harmony for any type of massages. They have got plenty of types.

I always go to Ellen Meyer there. She does an amazing job. She is very professional and is very very good at her job. She helps massage problem areas and will even ask you what areas you would like to work on. I have been going there for a few years and love this place!

Kelly did a great job. I asked for more pressure and she delivered. She also focused on the areas I mentioned at the start of the session. I've had 3 different therapists and they have always been very good. I always leave feeling great.
