We come to the Valley to visit relatives at least 3 times a year. We always stay at Hampton Inn & Suites wherever we travel to. This one in particular is our favorite. They go above and beyond. They are very clean, courteous, accommodating and the pool area is very nice. I have 5 grandchildren and they love to swim there. Hampton Inn always makes sure there are plenty of fresh clean towels out there for their guests. The breakfast buffet is wonderful! Plenty of hot fresh breakfast items to chose from. I just can't say enough about this place! Stay with them, you will not regret it!

Had a great stay with my wife, while waiting to check in a woman was fighting this the manager about her stay the manager handled this woman s outbursts way better than I would ve. She wasn t a usual guest either, very rude but the manager was able to remain calm.

Would definitely stay again since after the crazy woman left the manager apologized and offered my wife and I complimentary waters for waiting.

Check-in was easy as we had reservations. The staff had breakfast ready early in the day. Typical continental breakfast, nothing extraordinary, however, it was good. Rooms are nice, above average and spacious. We had a king bed and a sofa in our room. It was s nice room that stayed cold (just the way we like it). All was good, however, the bed was not very comfortable. The springs felt very weak, like it was a low-quality mattress. This messed with my and my wife' back. Outside of that, no further complaints. Our stay was uneventful.

Nothing really bad just not impressed. I stay at Hampton often, this was underwhelming. They had no water bottles, the one person at the desk who was working (4 others nearby, doing nothing) was not very knowledgeable. Iron was crusty, moldy bathroom with smell. Very noisy all night with people slamming doors. Just generally not what I expect from usually good hotel.

The location was mcallen tx. It was not that long cause i live in Edimburgo and the rooms were cool and fresh.i really loved it in there..the service was really good cause they had breakfast and a pool. Thank u hampton inn and suites mission.

The location of the hotel is very good. Right behind a Target and HEB plus. There are places to get food quickly. They have a night time reception Tuesday to Thursday. However, it is only until 6 so I missed it every night. They have diamond parking. The gym is fairly small. I didn't love the room design, it is a bit dated, as is the TV. The AC is directed at the bed, at least in my room so I work up with dry sinuses. Some items were clearly worn like the chair which had all of its covering coming off.

Very good hotel chain, clean rooms, good service at the reception, many amenities.
However, as all corridors and rooms are inside a closed building, an environment not suitable for people with claustrophobia is perceived.
I suggest more windows in general.

I have stayed here numerous times close to work. Ok service.
I paid cash for my nights then get billed on my card. Front desk says it will take 72 hours to fix. I asked for my cash back then. They couldn't do it.
So I'm out 400.00 for a 84.00 a night room for 72 hours.
I guess my 30 nights stay this year will be at another chain from now on.
Very disappointed. But they were able to refund $3.25 for the popcorn I paid for.

Stayed while in town on business. Hotel is in a great location, right off the main highway, with a few restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were very standard. Decently clean with average hotel beds and showers. I enjoyed their breakfast, typical waffles, eggs, sausage, and cold items. They had complimentary cookies in the lobby all day. Didn't use them, but the pool and exercise rooms looked nice.

I liked it but we got there and our ac wasn't working I called the front office and they "fixed it" but they didn't so I had to call again that the ac wasn't cooling properly so this time they moved us room to a better air conditioning room so that's why I'm giving Hampton's inn 4 stars but other than this it was a good day

I've stayed here twice and the service has been excellent each time! The staff is very attentive/accommodating and friendly. The shower is so relaxing and the bed is very comfortable. Very clean and organized. Will stay here each time I need to visit Mission/Mcallen.

Use this hotel often when I travel to mission. Breakfast variety and nice ambiance. Trouble with Wi-Fi at times though but everything else is 100%

The beds are nice, showers warm, the decor is beautiful. But management won't do anything if a tenant is being loud.... 1230 am and I could still hear the person next door let their kid jump up and down and run around the room. Not easy to sleep through but do-able. Also breakfast is mediocre at best.

It's usually a great place. I've been staying here for business; twice a month for two years, but there's a clerk that even though he knows I frequently stay. He makes it difficult. He always give me the most inconvenient room. If you don't get Jesse...you'll be alright, he is not friendly at all. Always looks upset! Everyone else ok

Beautiful hotel and exceptional customer service by Napoleon!! I'm pretty picky about my hotels but I was SO impressed by this one. SUPER clean, modern and king size bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was much better than most and coffee was great. They even offered a government rate which was just icing on the cake. If you're in the area this hotel won't disappoint. Thank you for your much needed hospitality!!!

Be weary of the rooms. I ve stayed several times since this place opened and it used to be great but has progressively gotten worse. This time I complained to the front desk. They said it wouldn t happen again. It s true, it will not happen again because I won t be staying here and neither should you. Find a cleaner hotel because I couldn t get a good nights rest after seeing the blood on this side of bed.

Diamonds are treated poorly here...housekeeping misses quite a few things including used soap.

I spoke with the General Manager who when asked said when I stated I was a Diamond she stated, "we treat all guests the same". Diamonds are not treated well here. I usually stay at the Hilton Garden ...I tried this hotel and will return to the Hilton Garden Inn. They respect frequent travelers and treat people better, and their housekeeping seemingly based on my experience is clean and consistent.

I then asked for the management company she stated she did not know. Its a franchise, I asked her to read the management company sign at the front desk she then read to be rude and condescending the disability and nonsmoking sign. I eventually found the management company, and still, they decided to charge a cancellation fee. I realize now I should have complained about the left-over used soap in my shower. This means they did not clean the shower. I was too tired to complain so housekeeping might be an issue here. The problem is franchises do not have the same hospitable service message; instead, they could care less about frequent travelers or treating people well. To actually try to say there is no management company, read a nonsmoking sign was rude and condescending. Well, they got 127. What they lost.... the project will reengage in Mission its 12 weeks 60 room night.... we will stay elsewhere.

This hotel is okay pretty worn down, and I can tell you that I'm a diamond I travel all the time and had a last-minute cancellation. I project canceled, instead of doing the right thing they wanted to make $127 so they would not waive the cancellation as a Diamond, we stay over 300 room nights and Hampton Inn called the regional office was told the same thing I would tell you it's a pretty worn out Hotel it's not in the greatest area and breakfast is okay room seem worn out if you're a diamond that would not stay here because back to the general manager said that we treat all the guests the same, and that diamond has no special privileges so definitely not hotel that I would stay at it, and I spoke to the reason why they're very sorry about all this but they want to make sure that they make their $127 and 13 years for last-minute cancellation is Diamond I've never been charged for it, so maybe I've been lucky, but this is definitely not a customer service minded Hotel of do not recommend I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn where I stayed before. When you travel almost every day you expect to be treated well, no rude reading nonsmoking signs, seemingly lying about your company you work for is an indication of an immature manager shortsighted thinking getting a penny while losing a dollar. A good example of a lack of experience in hospitality short term gain thinking. Guest will stop staying and choose elsewhere, I have made that decision. Others will do the same if managers treat people this way and especially if housekeeping continues to not clean showers.

Beautiful Hampton Inn! very sanitized and secure as a traveling mother COVID brought up many questions but the friendly staff assisted me in feeling safe in this beautiful Hampton! Doors always locked only open with a key card.
We gladly paid an extra 35$ to stay a couple hours after checkout. wonderful management. Would definitely stay again!

Large, comfortable suite. A little dated properly but everything was clean and functional. Breakfast was free and had a decent number of options. No problems with any of the 3 rooms our company got for the night.
