Good installations. Very close to target. The breakfast good. The attention well.

I stayed here for a month because of work. The manager and her staff were awesome and accommodating to our entire group. They actually moved their breakfast time up an hour to make sure we could eat.

Never stayed at a Hampton Inn like this one. It was a let down. Pool-out of order One Elevator-out of order Two ice machines 3rd &4th floors-out of order Bathroom sink-leaking water below Coffee was cold in lobby and front desk man seemed put off when another guest asked if fresh coffee could be made. Advance purchased room but was still charged price of room again, a long with $50 deposit and a mystery $25.

I stayed at this hotel, Hampton inn & suites recently and everyone from the maintenance guy to the housekeeper that cleaned my room were surprisingly nice. I would say the only thing I didn't think was nice or pleasant was the front desk blond girl. I called to ask if they had a heater in the pool since the water was sooo cold and she unprofessionally said "no, in the valley you won't find a pool with a heater". Really?! Well I'm from "the valley" myself so not only did it bother me how this miss know it all is telling people that in the RGV, heated pools don't exist like making it seem we're low class and outdated but I've stayed at many local hotels and home2suites has a heated pool and many others. I was so shocked and disappointed at how discriminating, and misleading she was. I give Hampton inn & suites 2 stars only for the maintenance guy and housekeeper.

Almost feels like a hidden gem of a hotel in Mission TX. It's in between a grocery store HEB and a Target but still very quite and secluded and seconds away from the hustle and bustle a quarter mile away. Lots of amenities to include free breakfast, digital key, 24-hr coffee, free newspaper daily, free evening reception with beer & wine drinks, late checkouts, pool, free WiFi, and free to and from shuttles from the McAllen International Airport which is 9 min away but saves you uber/lyft $. Clean spacious rooms and modern furniture. Lots of lighting in the room which is rare and lots of outside lighting with large windows. Stayed in room #400 on the 4th floor. I will definitely return for another stay. Thank you Angel, Linda, Joelly, and the GM!! Wonderful stay!!

Good food and drinks. It's very close to a shopping center which is very convenient.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and service was good. They don't have a fridge or microwave in the rooms.

The place is nice but the front desk service is lousy. I got yelled at over the phone by the desk clerk. Apparently he was too busy to take the call and got intolerant, impatient and easily upset. Having paid reservations I decided to WALK AWAY as to not expose my family to this aggression. It is a pity as it used to be great hospitality. I have been staying there for over three years now but something happened to the front desk service. And it has gone downhill since then. I will NOT stay there again. :(

Hotel seems pretty new. They have a free happy hour with beer and wine, which is really nice. Friendly staff.

We have stayed at this location for 4-5 years anywhere from 2-4 times a year. staff is helpfull but not so friendly, some rooms need a little tender loving care.

I travel frequently and stay mostly at Hilton hotels. I have stayed at many Hampton hotels across the US and this by far was the best. The hotel staff were engaged and friendly. Obviously management makes customer service a priority. I had a king suite room and it was incredible. Plenty of room to work. Flat screen facing the bed. Excellent mattress, large bathroom and excellent shower. Really a great value.

When I got up to leave for the airport @ 5:30a, the breakfast food was being prepared. I inquired about a taxi to the airport from a very nice lady preparing the food and she said no problem sir I'll take you. She said she had the time because she was nearly complete and that was that. Amazing! That kind of service you just don't see anymore. I will definitely be back and bring my development team. Way to go Mission Hampton!

Dislike--need to add a Happy Hour!

April was such a great help we had a great meeting in there meeting room and excellent place.

All good for us. Noticed when we were checking in that another guest's property had been stolen from her room. The desk clerk was directing her to call the police; said she couldn't do anything about the theft.

I don't know what has changed over the last few years, but I have always had a negative view of Hamton Inn, but that is quickly changing. I recanted stayed at the Hampton Inn in Misson and found myself pleasantly surprised by the hotel.

The grounds were clean, the staff was nice, the breakfast was good, the rooms (for the price) were clean and well kept.

If I had to complain about anything, my digital key stopped working before I checked out, which was only a minor inconvenience, and being as that was my only complaint, i will be adding Hampton to my list of hotels to check first.

Clean, nice staff, good breakfast. Wish the rooms were arranged differently. I work on the road and the tv was behind me when I work at the desk

Service staff were extremely nice and the breakfast lady was very friendly. The room was very clean and although the front desk staff didn't seem too friendly and preoccupied with their own family visiting all the other staff made up for it. Would stay there again for sure

I had a great experience at this hotel. I would say it had the most comfortable bed of any Hilton hotel I've stayed in. I rented the suite and it was nice and roomy with a big desk for getting work done. This will be my go to hotel when I need to stay on the west side of south Texas.

The building was very clean and well kept. Front desk answered every phone call within 3 rings. Pool was well kept and no pool smell in the hotel. Pool is located outside. House keeping came by every day.

Good breakfast. No mini-fridge or microwave in room.

Staff was kind and professional. The lady who worked early inthe morning when we left for work remembered us daily and chatted with us. The room was comfortable and clean.

I picked this place because it was near my family and it was also close to stores and nice restaurants. Sadly, the room was not what I expected. The air conditioning for room 414 sounded like a machine gun every time it turned on. The beds were hard and squeaky. At around 5:30 am to 6:00 AM the room filled with the stench of either breakfast eggs or sewerage water running somewhere. The key wouldn't work twice and we had to reactivate it once. The other time a custodian helped us get in. The guy in charge of breakfast on Tuesday morning was the reason I give this place two stars instead of one. He went above and beyond to help us bring breakfast to my husband, who recently had surgery, and my 7 year old daughter. I wouldn't mind visiting again, but please fix the AC and squeaky beds. Find out where the smell come from at that time.

Clean rooms, but it smelled like a casino hotel. Conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to HEB, and other shoppingb as the hotel is directly behind Target.

Everything was really nice and good service, but for the price I would add a microwave at least in the double bed room.

Fantastic hotel. Super friendly staff, they truly go above and beyond. Absolutely love the breakfast. Wide variety of healthy options, loved the fresh green juices. Conveintly located near the highways and easy access to the shoping centers. Best Hampton I have stayed.

AC was not cooling well, black out curtains wouldn t completely close and shower door slid off track. Overall the room was clean, just seems run down

Location was really convenient. Right behind a shopping center. 5 minutes from a wedding I attended and breakfast was decent with few choices. Overall a good experience.

My fav compared to La Quinta and Holiday inn. I like the cleanliness and that they do not admit pets, that I adore the animals but when they admit them in the hotels they do not clean the rooms well after they stayed with pets.

Easy access to everything! McAllen is a little hidden Texas gem

People go to a hotel for good night's rest. So the most important thing is the bed, my mattress was poor. Felt like the old school spring mattresses. Presentation and cleanliness were great it would have been 4 stars if not for the mattress. It would have been been 5 stars if it had a better location.

it was a beautiful place, the lobby is amazing. when you get to the room your welcomed by a cool breeze, and the beds are amazingly soft.

Super friendly staff. Nice rooms. Very accommodating. Probably the best hotel i have stayed at in all of the places i have stayed at in Texas. Wonderful people all around this metropolitan area. I loved my stay and will be back!! The manager is an awesome person! Very friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. Only 1 thing i can think of is not being able to stay longer

Good hotel friendly staff the mgr is very helpful.
The only thing is the rooms need a little tlc.

Nice hotel. Big rooms, clean rooms and common area. Looks new or very recently updated. Breakfast is standard for the Hampton chain - eggs, meat, cereal, waffles, fruit, assorted breads and baked goods. Staff is very friendly. Conveniently located not far from highway and there's a large shopping center directly across the street with a grocery store, Target, and assorted shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I normally love Hampton Inns. They always have great breakfast, clean and updated rooms, and good service. This one wasn't bad, but the room smelled a little funky when I first got there. Also the breakfast wasn't impressive and had minimal offerings. Although It was clean I just felt like there wasn't a lot of attention to detail that I am used to at other Hampton Inns. Probably won't stay there again

Love staying at this Hampton Inn &Suites, the staff is amazing! They really care about their customers. They have a happy hour 3 days a week, serving beer and wine with finger foods. The breakfast is awesome, big variety of choices for breakfast. Rudy! What can I say he's the best, made sure I had anything and everything I needed. Took a fridge to my room for me to put my cold drinks in without me even asking about it. The room was very clean as well

This is my go to Hotel when in Mission, TX for sure. Thank you again to the staff, you made my trip so much more relaxing.

Customer service here is really good. Though the shower head on the hose didn't work so I was stuck with using the one mounted to the wall

Clean rooms great service AMAZING beds, I only mention this because some places have beds that are impossible to sleep on. The whole place looks brand new! Highly recommend.

IT IS A HOTEL MUGRERO WE HAVE ON JANUARY 29, 2 BEDROOMS AND HAD MICE IN THE 2 BEDROOMS, IT RESULTS THAT WE BOUGHT BOX BREAD AND WE FOUND 3 RATS BREAKING THE BREAD AND IN THE OTHER ROOM EXCREMENT ON THE RIVER BONES ... ASCOO ... NEVER FROM THE JAMASES IS MORE CHINGO TO MY MOTHER IF I RETURN.
