Outstanding. Great friendly associates. Quite room. Plenty of hot water. Delicious breakfast.

The Hampton Inn in Pennsville is a very nice property. It has large rooms comfortable beds and is in a very convenient location.

My group's stay here was absolutely amazing, beginning with the reservation phone call all the way through checking-out several days later. Neco, Joann, Chelsea, Mike, Sandi, and the remainder of the customer-facing employees were nothing short of awesome and were an absolute pleasure to interact with. 10/10 will absolutely be staying here again.

I checked in late very late and the evening an night staff were Great. The breakfast in the morning was good and the staff was very polite.

Very disappointed! I made a reservation 4 days in advance for a room with 2 queen beds. When I got there I was told that they did not have a room available for us. It was clear they were waiting for us to get there before they told us; as soon as I said my name, they knew who we were. Their solution was to send us across the street to Super 8 which was very poor quality. Refrigerator didn t work, heating unit was broke and torn apart and the room had an odd odor. This was not the experience I was expecting from a Hampton Inn. I will be very cautious if I choose to book with a Hampton again in the future.

Very clean covid safe. Simple breakfast but better than nothing now a days.

This location keeps the high standards of the chain. Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. Parking is close to every room.

Wow! So impressed. I came to check and in was presented with this nice hand written thank you card by Kim. The surprising part is that my company hadn t even put my Hilton honors number with the reservation. So this must be something they do for all guests. Wow, just wow. As a HH diamond Elite member, this is going above and beyond. Color me impressed. Frank checked me in and he was so friendly, he even asked if I had a HH number, otherwise I wouldn t have known it wasn t included on my reservation.
The room are nice, clean and quiet.

Easy access from the NJ turnpike. Convenient walk to neighboring restaurants. Clean place and friendly staff.

Excellent stop along the highway. Right off Interstate 295 just before you get to the bridge into Wilmington from the north. Very convenient. Very clean. Very comfortable. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance. They include a Cracker Barrel and an Applebee's, a Dunkin Donuts, and, of course, McDonald's and Burger King. Breakfast is available (free!) at the Hampton Inn and includes hot options, like today's omelets, ham and biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal and cold cereals, muffins, bagels, juice and coffee. We were impressed and have it on our preferred return list.

Rooms were very clean. Close to local restaurants.

Best kept secret in So Jersey...great rates, even greater rooms. Wow!

Very nice but I received a handicap room which was okay but there wasn't a bathtub and the Shower was awkward.

Super helpful staff, tidy rooms, location has access to plenty of decent food options. Suprememly comfy beds as well. Only drawback is the TP and tissues provided are bottom of the barrel 1 ply, and bad quality at that. I'd suggest you bring your own if you're worried about something like that.

Do NOT book here!! I booked back in June 2012 and called to confirm. I was told it was cancelled, there were no rooms available for 2 nights, and the one night that WAS available went up $40 per night!! The customer service representative, Olivia, was unprofessional and rude. What a shame! We have always enjoyed using Hampton Inn for our travels, but not anymore!! Shame on you, Olivia!!

Friendly, clean, comfortable. Great breakfast provided each morning downstairs. Coffee station conveniently located just outside the elevator on first floor, if you must have that cup of coffee before you get dressed for breakfast. (They thought of everything!) Right off the highway, with Cracker Barrel, Applebee's, Burger King, McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts within walking distance. Travelers, make note of this one!

Excellent Hampton Inn, great hotel. The rooms are modern and clean, and the staff does a great job maintaining the rooms and the common areas. The floors aren't creaky and I don't hear any neighbors through the walls. I'm staying in a room facing the northwest and I hear the freeway noise through the windows, but setting the AC fan to constant on fixes that. 10 of 10 from my experiences staying with this chain!

Had a wonderful stay coffee was HOT ALL NIGHT WIFI WAS ON POINT STAFF WAS PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE ROOMS WERE BIG AND SPOTLESS WILL STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!

Clean, comfy, spacious room. Exercise room was really nice. Wifi was spotty the night I stayed, but other than that a nice place. 3-4 restaurants literally across the parking lot.

Wow! This place remodeled and it is nice! Very classy totally modern with nice clean bathroom and showers (old washcloth left on drawer under sink w blowdryer but accidents happen) brand new beds! Clean nice counters and carpet. Super nice! Breakfast is good coffee not always hott but there is a microwave. Good options fresh muffins and bread wheat only (please provide white bread too)

Sam at the front desk was more than excellent at check in she's a great asset to the hotel thanks Sam. She was there since morning as I called earlier that day and spoke with her nice communication. Ty

Keep up the good work team this hotel is now the nicest in the area... (looking for a lower rate?.... Super 8 behind Applebee's is just as updated and nice. Not your typical run down super 8 I suspect it's the same owner and it shows he cares!)

Was on a work trip and needed a place to stay, great customer service from check-in to check out.

Very polite, accommodating staff. The room seemed a bit old and worn down, but clean and relatively spacious. Breakfast was nice. Pennsville is a pretty rural location, so we didn't spend much time there except for work. However it's about an hour away from Philly, which has a lot to do and see. I would be happy to stay there again when we need to go back to Pennsville.

Modern style room. Great breakfast and a to go bag if you re in a hurry. The bed is on a metal platform. I kept wandering what was that sound if you sat down hard on the bed. The cleaning staff half cleaned my room. I had to call the front desk to have them to come back and clean the room correctly. They seem to run a tight ship with the incidentals they provide. Bring your own. There five places immediately to get food. There is also a KFC/? Just down the street and a Wawa just next to the bk. The hotel is quiet and peaceful.

I left a pair of very nice dress pants there and the day I checked out asked the General Manager to call and let me know if they found them so I could arrange for FedEx to pickup and bring back and I received ZERO call backs, emails or anything. I understand its my fault for leaving them ,but to not call back a customer is not very good customer service.

The Hotel is an above-average Hampton in Terms of being clean ,but honestly its location is Bad when it comes to things to do and/or proximity to larger cities.

Ok Hampton inn. The old style hotel. The rooms were kind of tired and worn. It was ok for one night. No other choices around really...

I like the hotel, and I liked the fact they had free hot chocolate, tea, coffee etc. on the first floor. I thought that there were a couple unsanitary places in the hotel.

Worse Hampton inn, out of the last 10 in 2 weeks..be forewarned 50 dollars will be applied to your card for damage protection WTF? Makes statement of the place already!

I stayed at this hotel four nights. My room was comfortable and clean. Employees were nice and helpful. Would be glad to recommend it to everyone!

We used the meeting room for a babyshower. The staff there, was very helpful and hospitable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is having a function with a large gathering of people. I had ample time to set up and afterwards, the clean-up is included in the package price. Great experience!

Kind staff. Clean and modern rooms, but my sleep was not good. The walls are so thin I could hear my neighbor's phone vibrating like it was in my room. This could be because they put me in an adjoining room and the sound traveled easier. I could also hear another neighbor drop their soap during their early morning shower. It just seems like maybe the building was a little more cheaply built than other Hampton Inns I have stayed in. I stay in Hampton Inns pretty frequently and this was one of the less restful experiences. I woke up 2 or 3 times to noise throughout the night and morning. It's the first time I actually had to put on pretty loud white noise just to sleep. For the rate, I'd say you may do better somewhere else. Hi

Checking was a slow process. I had a do not disturb sign on the door and they leave a nice little tote of towels and soaps.

Adequate mid range hotel just across the river from Delaware. Accommodating staff and pleasant surprises that make guests feel welcome.

Convenient location just north of Del Mem Bridge. Quiet even though you can see the highway from room. Firm beds and modern shower. Clean. Large choice of items in breakfast buffet included in room price. Excellent overnight stop to breakup long drive.

Hotel average, our vehicle was broken into as was other vehicle. Hotel said it never happens, local police said otherwise. Be careful where you park and make them aware you know that there have been break-ins recently.

Nice staff! They were handing out lots of cookies. The room furniture was fresh but they are starting to go to the 'euro' styling, which just seems cheap to me.

Please give this hotel a chance and form your own opinions. We have been staying at this Hampton for over five years now. We have NEVER had a bad experience, problem or issue.
We typically stay here at least one night per week and when we have out of town visitors for work, we always put them up at the Pennsville Hampton becasue we know they will be treated with the utmost respect and care.
The staff and employees always go over and above to make sure our stay (and others as well, I hear them!!) is a great one. Kudos to Danetta, Olivia, Michael, Shania, Madeline and Miss Debbie!!
Not only is our room always spotless, but the common areas are impecable! The beds are so comfortable too, we love the comforters and choice of pillow!!
Drop by, grab a piece of delicious fruit from the lobby, stay a spell and form your own opinion!! I have no doubt that if you were to find anything not up to your satisfaction, they will make it right for you!!

This is my favorite Hampton to stay at when Traveling. The rooms have been recently renovated with impeccable taste. Breakfast buffet has tons of variety to choose from. Finally, the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

I love Hilton hotels! Stayed at this one for the first time in Nov 2018. Had a great stay! I met a man from Germany on the elevator. The staff is great, esp those at the front desk. They were friendly & helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was good; hot food served. I do plan to stay here again!!

It was ok, one of the elevators was out of service and there was a lot of construction going on outside so it was pretty noisy

Service and facility were well above average at a very reasonable rate. I stay in hotels not less than 60 days per year. This was a very exceptional hotel.

Use this hotel for family when they visit often. Will not use them again. Staff is HORRIBLE. Very unprofessional!!!!!

Nice clean rooms however this hotel is consistently over priced compared to its much nicer sister hotel the doubletree actually in downtown Wilmington.
