I'm a little disappointed, when I scheduled the appointment I was quoted $70.00 for labor but was charged $130.00 especially when I bought the truck in September paid cash and have bought my last 4 trucks there. Not real happy right now!

can t say anything but good about the management On the other hand the customer service people are so rude Every time i call to schedule a service i have a tough time from pulling my account to find an appointment will work with my schedule One of the teller was so rude he started making fun of my accent even i told him this day won t work with my schedule he didn t make any effort to find the right time that will work with my schedule His responsed was ( find a different time ) without even try to be polite or professional He didn t great me or ask me how could he help me He was unprofessional i hope if they work in the customer service skills
Went in last week to trade in our car. The man that took care of us didn't help at all. I assume because he had two sales before me which were newer cars and I wasn't looking for a brand new spanking car. I also assume my paperwork didn't come back as excellent and he told me that we were upside down in our car which was false and nothing he can do for us. Needless to say we went to Lakeside Auto in Girard and walked out with a 2014 Ford Fusion!!! We were not upside down in our auto we actually had positive equity in it!! Lakeside Auto went above and beyond to help us and should of went to them first but Husband didn't listen to me. Definitely won't be going back to Hallman ever again!!
The employees of Hallman body shop were very helpful and courteous. The work that was done to my truck was excellent quality and done in less time than originally quoted. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for an all around great service experience.
The salesman, Shawn, was very patient and helpful. He let us take our time, answered all of of our questions and there was no pressure to buy. Excellent experience
Very disappointed in the service department. Took my 2017 Chevy Tahoe in for an oil change, inspection and tire rotation last weekend. The SUV was in absolute perfect condition. I take very good care of my things. The next day, I was getting my son in the car and happened to look down at the back left tire and realize there's a scrape on the rim. I know it was not there before I took it in, so something had to have happened to it while it was there. Called the service department to have it looked at and my husband took it in this AM. They're claiming that damage was already there and it has nothing to do with them. I'd love to see their proof of that. It's very clear they're trying to cover for themselves. I knew they wouldn't take the blame for something they did. Now they're telling us it would be $600-700 to replace for a FACTORY RIM mind you. We will never take our cars here for service EVER again. And just a word of advice, make sure you take pictures of your car before you take it in, so that you don't get screwed over like us. So disappointing because we used to trust this service department with our cars, but never again.
I have exclusively dealt with service related issues for all of my vehicles since the early 1990 s! I have always been impressed by the professionalism and skill of the staff as well as their friendly demeanor and attitude!
Stopped by the service department for a quick oil change without a appointment and they took me right in and it did not take long at all and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Thanks guys!
Ace mechanic (Kevin Pollack) found problem quickly and job was completed by end of day as promised. I requested to see defective part as it available for me to see immediately (without me even asking). Thanks Frank. I was very unhappy that this part failed but was very happy that Kevin did the work.Thanks again Kevin. Shuttle service was great!

Recently bought my 2014 Chevy Cruz from Hallmans and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and made buying a car fun. The salesman (Dave) even offered to come get me in Jamestown if I couldn't find a way to get to Erie to pick up the car. Would highly recommend.

We had made an appointment with Bill in the sales department the day before to look at new cars. He quickly passed us off to Dino. Seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. Dino took the time to help us and answer all of our questions. On a not so good note we tried to get an oil change and tire rotation to be done while we were there. Anthony tried to take care of us. We were on the phone with him for almost a half hour trying to set up the appointment. He said they could do the oil change but not the tire rotation. There are no signs for customers, so be careful if you go there. We were scolded for standing in the wrong place and not pulling straight into the garage. Anthony also called twice while we were looking at new cars requesting payment over the phone for the oil changed even though he knew we were in the building looking for cars! I can honestly say I would not consider them for a new car purchase.
Great service department. Everyone is very friendly. They called me with updates on my vehicle. When they needed to keep it another day they picked me up from work and gave me a vehicle until mine was ready. Great people.
Mark did a great job helping me with warranty coverage. He went above and beyond to contact and close work order as timely as possible. I was very disappointed to learn GM has a problem with there engines. My 2005 truck had cracked heads before i got to the hundred thousand miles mark. Now i find they have bad pistons and rings at 80 thousand miles. As someone who has been a mechanic for 40 years i couldn't believe GM wouldn't do something for loyal customers.
Dave Hallman Chevrolet is near excellent in sales and service. My experience is 100% satisfactory. Service is very accommodating and extremely helpful. Nice lounge, TV, internet, loaner car when required, they have taken me to other appointments and picked me up or even took me home. I find them most accommodating. I'll buy my next Chevy from Dave Hallman.
I was on my way to a ski weekend at Holiday Valley in WNY, when on I-90 I lost most of my engine power in my 2011 Silverado, and limped to the dealer. Not only were the service technicians considerate and professional, they also realized I was en route on my trip and did everything to get me in and out as quick as possible. They found the issue (under warranty), corrected it, and found a recall item that was quickly fixed as well. I was impressed with the service department, and the dealership operation. I would be more than happy to recommend Dave Hallman for any service in the future!
Hallmans cared enough of its customers to be proactive during these dangerous times!! Our leaders in America could learn from them!! Thank you for caring for us and for all the effort by those working with our vehicles and those disinfecting them! Hallmans is number 1 in my book!!!
They did excellent job on my damaged SUV, body parts were aligned up perfectly and the paint matched. I am so pleased with the staff and the time it was completed.
Worst over all experience I have ever had with a dealership. Continuous problems with my lease that did not get fixed and when my lease was up they would not take no for an answer on a new lease. Their is a fine line between aggressive sales and harassment!
Dave did a great job in purchasing my new truck and Chris in finance had my paper ready to sign so I drive out the door the same day. Kudos to them. Thank you Frank Pluta
I would strongly discourage anyone from voluntarily using their service center. We risked it as we thought the repair would be covered by a Chevy Recall repair, but it wasn't. Took them forever to look at, didn't get it repair on time... and.... the cost to repair simple items were astronomical. Depending on who we ended up talking to the service center employees ranged from jerks, oblivious and/or incompetent.
I brought my Chevy in for a State Inspection. Mark explained what needed to be done to pass the inspection. Once the work was done, He was thorough in telling me and writing on the State Inspection invoice parts on the Chevy that need fixed/changes and gave me an approximate time frame. Mark also told me the approximate wear-and-tear, condition of the Chevy. It was a bit of an inconvenience for me to have to leave the vehicle - I prefer to wait even a few hours whenever possible.
I Have had a positive experience with Dave Hallman I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE WHO NEED WORK ON THEIR VEHICLE ANYTHING from a oil change to something big as your engine.

Went there and the salesman I dealt with insulted me and told me I couldn't afford a 3k vehicle in cash what he didn't know is I had 5k in cash on me that that didn't end up spending there I'll never go back there
The moment I went into the dealership I had a salesman who was ready to help me find exactly what I needed. Being a college student it was difficult finding something to match my price range, but they accommodated to my needs and I found a car I loved for the price I loved.
Contacted through email. They straight stopped responding after I told them I was concerned that the abs light was on and that it was overpriced for 200k miles... called them, said they would call back. Been a week now.
Very pleased...service manager advised me that there was a service alert on my car. They then went ahead and checked for that and found no problems. Svc mgr was very nice to deal with as well. Added bonus was the comfortable seating in the waiting room .
I've taken my vehicles to Hallman's plenty of times in the past 10 years for body work. I've always been treated fairly and the work has been phenomenal. I went in today to have an estimate done and was told, and I quote, "it would be a waste of their time." To give a little bit of a back story I have a claim with my insurance, Allstate, for the repairs. Allstate will provide the estimate and the shop of my choosing will work off that to complete the repairs. However if the work is under $1,000 which I believe it is then I don't have to take off work to see an adjuster with Allstate. All I'd have to do is fax that estimate to the insurance, they'd review and issue a check. All I was trying to do is avoid a few unnecessary trips, missed money from work and expedite the repairs to my vehicle (the appointment with Allstate isn't for another week). But that apparently was a waist of Hallman's time. I will NEVER return to Hallman's for anything! The customer service was atrocious and the manner in which I was dealt with is completely unacceptable.
Mark and the service crew always above and beyond to help in getting my car taken care of. They are always polite, respectful and answer all of my questions. This is one of the reasons we keep buying a chevy!!!!
Very happy with the way things went Service was quick and well explained Drop off and pick up was easy. Now if dmv would do something I could become legal again
Absolutely terrible! Bought a Pontiac G6 used and the salesman said it went though an extensive inspection. Ever since then it has had nothing but problems- over $3,000 in repairs!! was needed and after investigation, it REVEALED IT WAS NOT EVEN INSPECTED before resale! They will try to charge you an arm and a leg on ANY repair. They tried getting me to pay over TWO THOUSAND dollars for a minor exhaust leak that cost me only $180 for my mechanic to fix it. They will try to suck every last dollar out of you. DO NOT COME HERE- SAVE YOUR TIME AND $$$!
My Wife and I were very impressed with our sales man Joe Fallon. We were looking for a specific truck &color he did not have one on the lot but within days he located it and had it for us to purchase. He was not pushy or impatient at all with us all during all of this. Kept us up to date on the day of delivery and time we were able to pick it up. Will defiantly be telling others about the wonderful service & will defiantly purchase our next vehicle at this dealership from Joe!

Very professional and accommodating staff. From the service managers to the technicians to the shuttle driver (who gave me lift to work before his start time). While the vehicle was being serviced, the service manager discovered there was a recall for my vehicle, and had it corrected at that time saving me from scheduling another appointment. Top notch service, thanks guys!
My husband just bought a 2008 Silverado from here and it already needs a major repair. He hasn't had it in his name for more then 10 days. When we signed the paper work you had him sign a paper that you said it was safety checked. I asked was it really checked and was told its the law we have to check it. I knew with hiw you replied to that question that this truck was going to have something go wrong with it. And yup it did and my husband was told you wouldn't not cover the repair. This is bullcrap he hasn't even made the first payment on this lemon. Second Silverado from you guys second lemon looks like. Thanks for not making your customers happy.
