What an outstanding service orientated dealership ! On August 13th, while traveling from Buffalo to Bristol Tennessee, my 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 broke off 4 tire studs while driving on route 90 at the Jordan Road overpass. My truck was towed to Hallman Chevrolet, dropped off in the commercial truck Bay area, was immediately assessed by a truck technician and then driven to a truck lift. The vehicle was service to determine parts needed. The service professional Greg Homan located the 8 tire studs needed from various dealerships. The studs were obtained and installed on the vehicle and I was on the road within 6 hours !! Greg Homan, the service professional kept me advised throughout the ordeal on an hourly notification on what was happening. This could've been a horrible vacation but the dealership made it a most pleasant experience for the problem that I had. Excellent job Dave Holman Chevrolet Incorporated !!
And by the way, it did not cost me an arm and a leg for the emergency service.
Our company buys a couple a vehicles each year and Joe Fallon at Hallman s makes it a breeze. We currently have six trucks purchased from Joe. One of these had a warranty issue and Joe picked up the truck and delivered it back repaired in only two days. I ve dealt with many others in years past and no other dealer s sales people comes close to providing the excellent service Joe does.

I've had a less than a desirable experience since the second I signed all the paperwork. Between purchasing the truck with broken parts, lack of communication and issues with competency with the salesman and service department I regret purchasing my vehicle from Hallmans.

Hallman's is a good place to buy a used car. I have bought two vehicles there from Mighty Mike. He is an awesome guy and he really wants to help his customers. I got a great deal on both of my cars. I only go to Mighty Mike when I'm looking to buy!
Never buy a used car from them. They'll hide things that are wrong with it and make no effort to fix anything. Love my truck (after putting 10 hours of labor and new parts into it) but will never do business here again.
This is a great dealership; well run, well maintained facilities. Repair facilities do really professional work. Some of their pricing may seem higher compared to "bargain" mechanics but in my opinion they are just being more honest, they give an estimate and fix it based on the estimate without bidding it up and keeping your car forever like I've had other places do. I've bought used vehicles here and I have the inspections and maintenance for them done here.

I would NEVER again purchase anything from here, too much deceit and dishonesty about their vehicles. I had the vehicle less than 30 days prior to the check engine light came on, a main wiring harness and sensors were bad. Doesn t usually go bad in less than 30 days, I feel they knew about this when they sold it, and in the end costing me nearly $400.

I really enjoy my 2011 nissan pathfinder. I had some issues to begin with as far as an issue that wouldn't get fixed. However, John from used car sales went above and beyond to help me.
The employees were very friendly and the routine service was fast. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because there is a small issue I am having with my vehicle and they could not diagnose it during the appointment. I now have to schedule another one.

Transmission on my Astro van failed on a Sunday evening in Erie. I was able to contact Hallman via text link on their website Sunday night & heard right back from them. Greg Homan and his team took great care of me getting the van right in & it was ready to go for me a week later when I was heading back through Erie on my way home. Telling Enterprise that my van was at Hallman's for repair resulted in a substantial discount on my rental vehicle also. A+ for the Hallman group from this traveler.
First off, I went to Dave Hallman s dealership about three months ago. My Chrysler Aspen has less than 40,000 miles on and I needed an SUV ASAP. I went to them and asked if they could get my desired 2015 Chevy Suburban from the New Castle dealership, he proceeded to tell me they can t because that would involve another dealership and it would make it harder for me to get. He decides to continue to try to sell me a Tahoe. I am furious now, so I leave the dealership and drive to New Castle to Preston GM Superstore. I was able to purchase the truck I wanted. Fast forward to today. Now I have a certified preowned used car. Dave Hallman s begins to tell me that I don t have a certified used car and I also don t have a warranty. I call my dealership in New Castle and he spoke with the gentleman that was helping me. The gentleman took my phone to the warranty specialist were he hung up on my dealer and tell the gentleman to tell me that I would have to pay $54 for my oil change. Im like no, I m not doing that. He said you can pay and then Preston Superstore reimburse you. Dave Hallman s were out to get my money. They don t care about your warranties.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. IF I COULD THEY WOULDN T GET A STAR OUT OF ME. PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL DRIVE 25 miles TO GO TO A DEALERSHIP THAT VALUES ME AS A CUSTOMER.

Third visit to the Body shop in 6 months thanks to two deer and someone backing into my truck. All of the staff members that assisted every time I was there were pleasantly friendly from day one. They were quick to get my vehicle in for estimates and repairs. Quality of work is that of the factory finish. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. My hope is to never have to use them again but if you ever need quality friendly service, Hallmans is the place.

Greg Homan,the service manager and his team of technicians helped me out of a BAD situation ,when transmission self destructed. They went above the call of duty .
My 2017 Chevy 1500 are already had a bad starter. the little contact plug would not relatch to the new starter. I had to jury rig it with a zip tie for it to make contact. Poor design and the starter went way too early with no support of any sort from the Chevy dealer. The only help would be buying a $34 kit to get the starter to work. Advance auto helped me the most

I've been bringing my car to Hallman for oil changes since I moved to Erie, and they've been great. After noticing a fuel odor coming from my car after driving it, I took it in for service on Friday, 4/26/18 for what we thought would be a recall. Ashley called to inform me that it wasn't a problem covered by the recall (fuel pump module), but the fuel lines were "rotted", and it would be $784 to fix. My fiance called to ask some questions and Ashley tried to withhold information that we, as the vehicle owners, are entitled to. When he asked which portion of the line was impacted she just kept repeating "it's the fuel lines". Finally she admitted that it was only a small portion. He also asked for a breakdown of the charges and she kept on trying to deflect by just telling him the total charge. Eventually she ended up giving him the breakdown. Over $400 in labor? So they wanted to charge me to replace the entire thing? These people will try to screw over anyone who they think doesn't know anything about cars, but when a trained mechanic comes along and knows what questions to ask they will try to withhold information and attempt to deceive. They don't seem to realize that they are legally obligated to answer any and all questions the consumer may have, honestly. Needless to say, we won't be back. We ended up taking the vehicle to James and Demay's where it was fixed for less than $200. Don't bring your cars to shady Hallman's, they will do anything to earn a buck!

The Hallman staff were professional and helpful. They had a system set up to sanitize your vehicle before and after service and they stayed in contact via phone during the service process. My car was completed and ready when I arrived to pick it up. Payment is over the phone and you must drop your car off and pick it up during these times of uncertainty. Thank you!

Dave Hallman Chevrolet really help me out when everything on my car seemed to want to break at the same time. They were so considerate and understanding they really listened to what I had to say and explained everything they were going to do. Their work has left my car running like new. They also have very fair price. And gave me a very nice car to use until they were done with my car.

Not happy that I had to make the twenty mile + round trip for yet another recall (second in six months) but that's not necessarily the fault of the dealer. It is a Chevrolet issue. The guys at Hallman got me in and out in reasonably short order and I got it inspected during the process.
After having driven at least six Impalas during my business days with great success I made the mistake of buying my own. Got an inexperienced salesman who ended and ended up not even getting the car with the features I expected. Water under the bridge for now. Nice riding car but will likely bite the bullet and look to another brand of vehicle next year.

The service department was extremely rude including the women at the counter. I had 2 warranties on my car that I wasn't aware of and Hallman wanted to charge me nearly $2,000 to fix them when in reality it should have been covered if they bothered to check. Went to a different mechanic and he found the warranties immediately but they had just expired by the time I brought it to him. My mechanic called Hallman to see if they could do anything and they said no and were even rude to him. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
The finished job looks great! They returned the vehicle to us cleaned. We were informed initially by them it would be complete by Wednesday afternoon. We had then scheduled it in for service Thursday morning. I had heard nothing by 3pm on Wednesday so I called only to find it wouldn t be done until Thursday afternoon. They said they would work with service. On Thursday I had again heard nothing so I called at 11 am to be told looking like it wouldn t be done until late afternoon. At 3:30 I called back and went back on forth for 15 minutes for them to tell me car would be done within half hour but the service department could not accommodate us now. I scheduled my service at Rick Weavers GMC and they got me right in.
Awesome that are lifesaver theyes made sure that the warranty company (from a different dealer ) covered all costs I'll definitely be back and trust them me my vehicle 2009 Chevrolet Traverse back on the road
Mark in the Service Department really cares about his customers and their safety. He goes above and beyond to help his customers. He also explains what is wrong or if there is anything else. The ability of being offered a shuttle service also is convienant. Dave Hallman is a good dealership!!
