Great place to stop for a beer, four cask ales and one on keg. Staff are really friendly and provided activity packs for the kids - totally unexpected. Kept them quiet while I enjoyed a Fursty Ferret.

I went on a Brewery Tour here and really enjoyed it. It was very comprehensive and took well over two hours . Apart from looking around the whole brewery and the brewing process, it also involved a trip onto the top of one building allowing some lovely views across Blandford Forum and also the Old Brewery Building. Seeing the bottling plant in action was also good especially as it is the bottled variant of this beer that first brought this brewery to my attention.
Parking was quite tight mainly as the venue is let out for conferences and courses.
The tour ended with a complimentary drink at the end.
Couldn't wait to visit, though sadly the tours are cancelled during lockdown. The restaurant is still open I believe. The friendly staff let us into the shop which has all the classic Badger beers plus some beers only available there. Well I had to try them! Worth a visit if you're in Dorset
Due to a lack of finding our favourite tipple on the shelves while in the infrequent socially distanced trips to the supermarket, we discovered there is a god and duly in return for a small amount of keyboard taping and an equally small amount of cash, we have had our first experience of online purchasing and delivery from you and it was easy, swift and effortless. Now to pour, sit back and relax. Thank you.
A great way to spend 3 hours! thoroughly enjoyable and a real eye opener. Great guide and shop and a free beer and a coffee. Also great countryside drive to get there and back. Fantastic value. They are the market leader in bottled beer. Bigger than Scottish and newcastle! which makes the visit even more surreal!
Visited the shop today, they didn't have what I was looking for but they were very informative and told me to keep checking as the range was changing and would be available shortly, very friendly staff
The pasta was overcooked and disintegrating, the dried mushroom only partially rehydrated, and the sauce so thin I can only assume the pasta wasn't drained.
This is the first Brewery I have ever been to let alone taken the tour. Fantastic. The guide was brilliant, he was very interesting and kept all our attentions. It was a long tour but so very informative. Lunch was very good indeed. well cooked, not too long waiting for it and of course - the Beer. mmmmmmmmmmm. A little look around the shop and a few purchases later. This one will be visited again. Every member of staff seem to be proud of the fact they work here. Thank you
Had my first brewery tour here last week. The tour guide was very energetic and knew his stuff well, he took us through each part of the brewery with great knowledge of the history and how things work at badger. [Though I did not appreciate the rude and sarcastic answer to one of my questions at the end of the tour hence the four stars] The bar area was very well presented and it was all together a great few hours out!
Excellent beer and without a doubt the variety of products is astounding. I only wish that I had visited the company whilst I was in Lyme Regis in June however having found my local Sainsbury's sells at least some of the range I am delighted. Next time I visit the area I will make a point of visiting the brewery!
The Hall and Woodhouse Brewery offer a fantastic dining experience for its visitors. We stopped in on a sunny afternoon. The staff were fantastic and offered taste tests for the beer while I was selecting what I would have. The portion size was very generous and definitely value for money. We will be back here to complete a tour and have another meal in the near future.
Social distancing not observed, groups walking past our table within half a metre not two. Direction arrows poor and staff direction to customers lacking
Really didn t feel safe, in what is a really nice location, food great.
What a gorgeous place. The restaurant is wonderful, with well presented, delicious food. There is also a lovely little shop selling H&W products at reasonable prices. The staff are all really friendly. Overall it is well worth visiting. ..and next time I might take the brewery tour!
Ate in Brewery Tap. Mains were good (Steak & Ale pie and burger) but puddings took an age to come (waitress did apologise) and the Creme Brulee was really runny, split perhaps? Well priced with a 25% off offer Tues/Weds in Oct '20.
Very good service and top beers..a mix of taste to suit all people, low alcohol beers to strong and a good price and in bottles. Well worth a visit...enjoy bottomes up cheers.
We did the tour. Wasn't too sure what to expect, but it was amazing the guide we had knew his stuff despite being new to the job. He kept the tour interesting and entertaining.
After the tour you get a ticket for a free drink at the bar you can have then or get a bottle to take home.
After the tour we had food at the bar and it was lovely. It came out quickly. The staff were all friendly and rest to help
I went on the brewery tour, and I found it very interesting and informative. The guide I had was very knowledgeable about the brewery and the brewing process. And he explained every part in good details and answered any questions I had. The tour start with a short video of an overview of what you will be seeing on your tour. From there you go to the start of the process; and you make your way though so you finish up with the beer eventually being bottled (sometimes not always seen). All the tanks have a push button lights and a viewing window, so you can see what is happening in each tank. After the tour I had a light lunch in the restaurant. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu, from sandwiches to a Caesar salad, and a curry. The food was very nice and at reasonable prices.
They brew the best beer in Dorset. I hope they have some at next year's beer festival! My favourite, in order; Tangle Foot, Fursty Ferret, Hopping Hare & Golden Champion. Cheers!
Great venue for a function. Nice design and space, exposed brick and ironwork, mezzanine and comfy seats. All the H&W beers you would expect too. Super friendly staff made the planning and execution of our surprise party run perfectly. Thanks you!
The new lay of the shop was great but the lady that was serving was most abrupt with one of your employees i hope she doesn't treat the costermers the same way
Great tour, guide very informative and charming, kept it light. Brewery well maintained had a nice feel to it. All staff very friendly. Well worth it, nice pint at the end, food looked good. Nice setting for a bite.
