New to this restaurant at the Halifax CC.and very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the broiled scrod. Both were fresh and well prepared. Would definitely go back.
Some of the friendliest staff around! Great food at reasonable prices. It is a country club but is open to the public. I would certainly recommend checking them out!
I rented the hall for a function 7/20/2019 for a retirement party. When we arrived to set up at 545 the room was hot! I thought perhaps the staff arrived at 5 and we were in a heat wave. I understand that. The room continued to get hotter. One of the waitresses told me that only one half of the rooms a/c works. It was over 80 degrees in the room. I asked if they had any fans. No! My daughters had to go to Walmart to purchase fans. Unacceptable. I spent alot of money on a great band and unfortunately it was so hot that many people had to leave.
I had requested two bartenders when I booked the venue. I was told it was only necessary to pay for one. They would add another bartender as that is where they make their money . The night of the function, with a long line of guest waiting for a drink in the heat I asked the bartender if a second bartender would be coming in. She said no. They only have one function bartender. I did reach out to the manager this morning with my concerns but had no response.
Bottom line is if they knew there was no a/c they should get the fans and cool the room. Buyer beware. Thank god it wasn t a wedding with gowns and suits.
The quality of food and service here has varied greatly each time we visit. The food can be amazing or terrible. The service is usually friendly, but always slow. It's such a lovely location and the deck is awesome. I really hope they can figure out how to staff better so that the dining experience can be more consistent.
Great lunch. We went early so we wouldn't bother other diners. We had a 10 month old and two year old. The staff was great and the food was too.
Great food and great golf!!!! My husband and I look forward to our weekends playing golf then a delicious dinner on the back deck with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. If you have not been, you should go! A+ for service and always with a smile.

Golf course Management is absolutely horrible. They cram the tee times too close together. Two hours to golf four holes. I couldn't take it anymore and asked for a refund which they denied. HORRIBLE experience, will never go back. Plan on 8-10 hours for 18 holes.
No waitresses , just waiters.Some of staff have the personality of a golf ball.Everyone in our party were happy with their food except the person who got dry turkey tips.drinks were very good
Excellent place. We were pleasantly surprised with the new outside deck and bar. Very nicely done. Good was excellent and the wait staff and hostess were very friendly. Very nice for a restaurant at a private golf course. Well worth the trip.

Great course in pristine condition. Go easy on the putts; greens are fast and true. Pricing is very favorable if you time it right. Go and enjoy!

I went there for an annual event. Very nice venue. I can see it as a great place for wedding receptions.
I liked the layout of the golf course. We also had a fine lunch at the shanks Bar and Grill with reasonable prices. First time at the course found that the greens and Fairways were fast and hard overall a very nice day.
