Decor is a little odd given the location in the Treasury building. Table service is ok, orders regularly incorrect. Cocktails are of a high quality. Warm and friendly on a cold winters night.

A gem of a bar .. great service and atmosphere.. brilliant cocktails.

The drinks were amazing, and the staff were delightful. Be sure to try the Halford's Martini!

Friendly staff and great range of quality products. Open late with comfortable lounge and great cocktails. Grab yourself a toasting as well... yum!

Love the atmosphere!! Cool place for a drink before dinner, lots of whiskey options of course :) but also good selection of wines by the glass. Service is great when it s empty but very slow when it is a little busy.

Cosy little bar in the heart of the city, filled with plush velvet decor and dim lighting this bar is a great spot for a date night!

With reasonably priced cocktails and a good selection of local and imported wines there's sure to be something for everyone on the menu.

I would not recommend large groups however as the seating arrangements are not really ideal for groups larger than 4 or so.

Great cocktails sitting on warm and plush seats, velvet allure. Open till 2 this is a good option to chill in comfort while drinking comfortably. Part of the Treasury precinct is still feels like a hidden gem as you decent down the stairs.

Nice basement bar at the Como hotel, great knowledgeable staff and prompt service. Good menu something for everyone

Cool place, great cocktails and good music but not too loud to talk.

Upon arriving at the bar I asked for the cocktail menu to which the bartender did not respond, grabbed the menu and literally threw it on the bar and then instantly walked away to the kitchen without a word said. Nice bar but ruined by staff that act like that. The same bartender proceeded to be very condescending to my friend who was trying to enquire about different cocktails.

Excellent bar had a couple of beers and my wife and her bestie had a couple of cocktails sat in the lounge nice has an interesting past worth asking about it

A bit pricey but an otherwise perfect little intimate spot for romantic cocktail dates. Probably the best place in Perth for this.

pretty upscale and quite pricey, but seemed spacious and quiet (for a bar - not a lack of people but a lack of hearing others' conversations) so was fitting. service for us was a bit questionable on this occasion with a few mix ups - hopefully it's not always like this

Ignorant and patronising staff member with an early 19th century beard who was seemingly blind to the drunk patrons on the next table.

Nice n cosy, low lighting, 1920s styling with a massive range of whiskey and knowledgeable staff.

Excellent cocktails, and a fabulous array of whisky Halford Bar evokes the feeling of a 50s lounge. Set in the down stairs of the state buildings. The drinks list is imaginative, fun, fresh, and we'll thought out.

20 minutes to get a drink from table service. Don't offer table service if you can't deliver!

Instead of a welcome, was greeted more like, "are you lost" alcohol was ridiculously over priced and service was met by a trainee who swore when he forgot to put the napkin on the table... bad vibes all round.

We dont tend to move the furniture . Lost business because they didnt want to move one seat. Whatevs.

Staff were very friendly and drinks were great and priced as expected for Perth. The venue however was very dirty, the tables, menus, bathroom all needed a good clean. Looks better online. Stayed for only the one drink.

Possibly one of Perth's best bars.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about their jobs.
There is a massive selection of foreign whiskies, anyone who is a fan of Japanese whiskies should visit this bar.
The atmosphere and decor are perfect for any occasion, with the music being subtle and not too loud that is over powers any conversation.

Loved this place until yesterday. I've never felt so insulted in my life. We sat down and were asked to move from a 4 seater to a 2 seater on a Saturday afternoon when there were only 4 people in there! The drink was good but then I was served with the bill straight away and the bartender hovered to take my payment!!! Plus calling a grown woman - girl, who do you think you are?? Worst staff ever!!! You are so far up yourselves I'm sure you can see your insides! I use to bring clients to this place but never again.

Halford doesn't live up to its potential. Its decor doesn't suit the cathedral square heritage vibe. Drinks are overpriced and average. Disappointed :(
