Short version: friendly and fast service, highly recommended.

Longer version: I had to get a leather band replaced on a Tissot watch I've had for years. I ordered the new part online from Swatch (the parent company) and then called the shop in Houston to see if they could help me. They only work on Swatch brand products. That's their policy, so be it.

I found Hal Martin's here and called to see if they would do it. I went in, expecting to drop it and come back later in the week. I didn't get the person's name, but she just started on it right away in front of me. In a few minutes, I was out. There wasn't even a charge. I looked around the store while I was waiting. They have some great watches so I'll be back when I'm in the market to buy. I would give them a call if I needed a major repair as well.

Went in there on intent to buy a day date told the older lady I had a budget of 10k and she laughed in my face like I came in there with 8 dollars to my name.... She then proceeded to check the price of every bangle day date shouting out the prices 12k 15k ect ect until she found one for 10.5 then she put it back saying oh well it's still out of your price range.. I will take my lousy 10k so. Where else and buy a watch

I took three watches to Hal Martin s Watch & Jewelry to get serviced and batteries replaced. The service was outstanding and Kaylynn was very helpful. I will be back!

I can t say enough good about Hal Martin s. Tarang, Hal, Kalynn and Barbara have all taken very good care of me. From their extensive experience and vast knowledge about their merchandise, to their robust inventory, non-pushy salesmanship, and fair prices, I have found the experience there to be incomparable. First experience at Hal Martin's was great! I needed two of my watch batteries replaced. I had read great reviews about this place so decided to give it a try. I was in and out within 15 minutes and the first visit was on them! I will definitely be going back to them for any watch repairs/battery replacements and would highly recommend them for any sort of jewelry service/repair.

The owner was not in and I had a check ready to buy a watch in the person that he left in charge was very rude and he did not give me the attention that a $30,000 watch buyer deserves so I took my money elsewhere got a better watch for $5000 less buyers beware

As usual, we were met at the count right away. They listened to my service request for my watch and for my wife s watch winder (which was on sale). We left with the watch winder and picked up my watch one week later as promised. As usual, all expectations met and just great folks to deal with.

This was my very first time to Hal Martin's,. I bought a MoMo Design Italian watch from MoMo Design's online store, so of course it arrives and needs to be sized. So, I looked on Google as to who works on MoMo Design watches in Houston, up pops Hal Martin's. Looked at the reviews on Google and decide to take it in. Have to say its a very secure shop as the deal in very expensive brands and was quite busy.

As I come in Kalynn comes up and asks if she can help. I explain my situation, that I have a watch that I do not know how to size and show the watch to her. Kalynn says hold on a minute, let me get our watch apprentice. After about a minute the watch apprentice comes out and I explain the situation, she says let me go slow on this as its a silicon band and I'll need to cut it to fit you. She was meticulous; cutting and checking for fit until it was perfect. She then noticed there was no movement so she said let me put a battery in; it will just take a minute...

A minute or so later out she comes and says its all good to go. I put my watch back into the box and asked Kalynn, how much do I owe for the sizing and the battery? Kalynne looked at me, smiled and said, "Nothing, have a nice day."

I could not believe it... I have to say, never have I ever had someone who worked on any of my watches ever say anything close to that. The watch apprentice spent 20 minutes on the band and maybe another 5 on replacing the battery...

I had the battery in my watch changed and she also provided a brief tutorial on how to manipulate the features on my watch. For the note I did have other Businesses in mind, But gave this Business first try. From the moment we went in staff was very cordial, then we were approached by Mr. Tarang !!
