Pros: The staff is caring, wait times to be seen are short. Getting an appointment when you need one is easy. Parking is not a problem. Cons: The specialists are split between Montrose and Castle Point. If your work schedule is fixed, you might have to travel to Castle point to see them. If you need surgeons, you will definitely have to go to the Bronx. CT MRI imaging to castle point.

This place is disgusting, moldy, and unsanitary! My father has been living there since December 2014, and now has respiratory problems due to the unclean conditions in the rooms and his workplace. Mold exposure can cause eye irritation, lung infections, nasal irritation, wheezing, skin irritation, fatigue, headaches, shortness of breath, chronic cough, swollen lymph nodes, erectile dysfunction, weight loss, loss of appetite, diarrhea, nausea, short term memory loss, joint pain, chronic sinus and ear infections, hair loss, nose bleeds, coughing up blood or black debris, etc. The mold is on the walls, underneath carpet, and near heat/air ventilation. Complaints have been put in, but no action has been taken. Older men living there might not have the greatest health, and the affects of mold could cause an infection strong enough that antibiotics can't fight quick enough. More needs to be done to ensure the safety and health of our veterans! From one outraged daughter!
