Too expensive for small portion size of food. Better options out there in Jacksonville other than this place.

This place is really good. Kind of pricey but really good. You can't go wrong with the apple empanadas. I had the shrimp burrito with queso. This is how big it is.

the food is all fresh made and very tasty. It was not long before we got our food. Even though we had to order at the counter, staff walked around throughout the restaurant to make sure we had everything we needed. I will be back again to try other menu items. The chicken fajitas were wonderful & large portion too, I had enough left over to enjoy it again for dinner.

Love coming in here. The staffs always great to deal with and food is amazing. One of my favorite lunch spots by my work!

Food was ok. Chips were not very fresh. The chicken burrito didn't have much chicken in it at all. I would rather go to Moe's.

First time here and the service and food was great! When the quest was a hint too spicy for my toddler they made her a whole new chicken nacho with shredded cheddar cheese instead! They brought take home boxes to table and were friendly and kind. I d definitely recommend this place.

Sooo GOOD! Very chill atmosphere, comfy, and amazing food

Terrible customer service, when busy, staff won't acknowledge guests, simply ignoring the obviously upset crowd.; Which only added gas to the fire. Staff behind bar leave customers waiting up to 45 mins. For a drink or to place an order for the drink. Staff repeatedly told customers "oh I dunno, how to make that" or bartender busy preforming bar tricks instead of making drinks. Just Terrible customer service period.

This restaurant is delicious, healthy and has very fresh local produce. There is outdoor seating and a bar. The environment is casual contemporary and very clean. I liked the background music and it wasn't too loud. Everyone who works there is hard working and ready to please. You order at the counter, they give you a number and then deliver your delicious meal to your table.

Burrito was good, big and filling. Barbacoa tacos pretty spice but very good. Next time I would add lettuce, pica and cheese. The salsa was very good, everyone likes it. Steak taco was tender. Chicken tacos 5 stars.

Food was alright. I would have expected a little better food for how expensive it was. I had the chicken tacos and they just tasted bland and plain. It was 10$ for 3 of them and extra for a drink. Seeing as this is a new place I would have thought it would be busy right at lunch rush hour. We will see how long it stays in business. I was really excited for a Mexican restaurant near me.

Blackened Mahi Taco special was amazing! Very flavorful, and matched well with sauce. The salsa was also the perfect amount of spice - definitely coming back!

The food is excellent and they have a good staff that goes the extra mile to see that you are happy. That being said, I think it is a little pricey. We had 2 life bowls, 2 side of chips and salsa, and 2 drinks for $33 for lunch. I will be back, just not as often as I'd like!

The worst restaurant experience ever. Order taken by cashier was incorrect, and cashier refused to fix problem at register. Stated I will tell them it s a bowl and not a burrito . Food delivered was a burrito and not a bowl, paid additional charge for cashier s mistake, on top of waiting longer than 30 mins when everyone else was done eating. When constructive criticism was brought up to owner, the owner made racial remarks blaming our language accent which caused the mistake. While explaining, owner always interrupted and brushing us off. Very rude indeed. Not only that, they took my sister s food back into the kitchen and reserved to another customer. How unsanitary. Definitely NOT recommending this place to anyone. Merits a citation from the local health department authorities.

This place is amazing. I've been here a bunch of times. Never disappointed. The food is so fresh. The staff are very nice. The owners are there most of the time. Portions are more than generous. Prices are fair especially for the quality of the food. I can't think of anything I have had that wasn't really good. Barbacoa, fish, chicken, and steak all have such great flavor. So happy to find a consistently good, family owned place.

I got the taco sampler. It was ok..meat was salty. Salsa was fresh and tasty and it was nice not having to pick up your dirty dishes after you eat. Great staff!!

Great food, we sat outside. Dog friendly. Indoor / outdoor bar counter (you re seated at the outdoors counter facing the bar inside). Recently opened. Most of their business is lunch business right now but they are pretty good for dinner too. A bit casual for dinner though.

Ordered Chicken Nachos today and THANK GOD the queso had some flavor. These are some of the worst nachos I have ever had. The chicken has zero flavor, it's so bland and plan. Unfortunately there was a drop of sour cream and a drop of cheese on the nachos so there were DISGUSTING!!

We visited on a Friday evening and really enjoyed our meals. They have happy hour specials with good deals on drinks and appetizers. The manager greeted us right away and the bartender served us. He was very energetic and hospitable. The steak was absolutely delicious, don't waste your time on the chicken.

The service is awesome and the food here is excellent. Great atmosphere, similar to Chipotle in the way you order, and very clean. It s a go to lunch and happy hour spot.

Every time I come in this place, I find a new favorite thing on the menu. I never write reviews, but this place is so dang good. You people need to go here often bc if it goes out of business I ll be mad at all of you.

Food is very tasty and fresh. The chicken nacho's we had were luke warm at best. If they could keep the food temp up then we would be regular attenders.

This place was better when it first opened. I've been here four times but will not be returning. I agree with one of the recent reviews that said the fish taco looks like a frozen fish finger. I understand that profit margins are slim in this business but if the food is bad you will not survive. The food keeps getting worse, the staff is disorganized, and the prices are too high. Much better options for this type of food in Jax for a lower price point.

Food was just okay. Burrito was a smaller more expensive version of Chipotle's offering. Servers were slightly disorganized and kept delivering food to wrong tables. Vegetarian chili advertised on the menu was what brought us in, but they didnt have. Many other places around town with comparable quality but for less money.

Great food! In many ways the menu looks like a rebranding Saucy Taco that was there before this. I am editing this review, as it appears I put this for the wrong restaurant. The Fresh Mex & Company urban grill is amazing food. I apologize for the mix-up.

I visited for a brunch event. Staff is very unorganized and runs around trying to figure out who ordered what with no clear job duties. Tables left until buses. The wait was long food was sub par. I may try back during lunch for some Mexican food.

Had food delivered. It arrived cold and overcooked. The order was missing items. Small tacos for the price of $5.00 each.

LOVE this place!! We recently discovered Fresh Mex and it's one of our new "go-to's" for dinner. We usually order take out since we live just around the corner, and have been super impressed with the speed at which our order is completed. Everything that we've had has been super yummy and just tastes really fresh!

If you haven't eaten here , you're missing out!

Food was decent , but the music is way to loud for a casual place to eat lunch . Also either the owner or manager talks extremely loud about the staffs work schedule. His presence just made the environment stressful. I just want to enjoy lunch and take a break from work.
