If you're visiting Quebec city during the winter this is a must visit! Definitely a family friendly place. So plan on spending couple of hours here. Getting a drink at the bar is an experience you don't want to miss out on! Great fun and the artistry is world class!

The hotel is beautiful. The carvings and detail throughout are outstanding! Many of the rooms have individual themes and some have access to hot tubs. There is an ice bar that serves drinks in ice glasses and there are plenty of maple syrup treats available at the entrance of the hotel. You can spend the night here if you can brave the cold!

Beautiful and majestic artwork carved in ice omnipresent in almost every room. The experience & energy I was exposed to is out of this world. You will leave this place at a higher frequency recharging your batteries to face the real world.

Would go definitely again!

Love the visit. We were only here for a few hours but really enjoyed visiting all the rooms and admiring the sculptures. They use colours and lights to enhance the experience. Visited in the day but there is a discount ticket for the evening.

Found Elsa s castle in real life! The place is definitely one of Quebec city s most incredible spots to visit! The only ice hotel in North America will make you feel like you've entered the movie Frozen It is made entirely of snow and ice and there s even an ice bar where you can sip on frosty cocktails and soak up the glacial surroundings. You can also spend the night in one of the themed suites (open now). Would you stay in a hotel made of ice?

Lots of different themed rooms made out of ice and snow. The bar was amazing too. Drinks come is a glass made out of ice. Music was great too. They even included a chapel. All rooms contain a ice bed, but they provide the furs to keep you toasty warm at night. Tours are done during the day, and ice hotel guests arrive in the early evening, so it is closed u less you have a room prebooked. They show you how they carve the ice blocks into very ornate pieces. Some if the themed rooms include Animal Kingdom, Africa, Jazz (with music playing too), and so much more. A job well done. It takes about 2 hours to see everything in detail. When we went, there was an actual wedding taking place in the Chapel. It looked lovely. There was a horse-drawn sleight waiting to take them away afterward. Guests all had to wear there jackets during the ceremony, but the ice sculpture alter made a really nice backdrop. This ice hotel is a must-see if you are near Quebec City. Note that this ice hotel is seasonal (late December to end of March usually). This place also has an indoor water park and typical hotel as well. Additionally, during the winter months, bring your skates as you can go skating through the forest (a large path made by a Zamboni machine).

This place is absolutely breathtaking! It is one of the most unbelievable, awesome, incredible works of art I have seen. It s really worth the drive out to see for yourself. And you really do have to see it. I had seen pictures and videos prior to going and they did not do it justice. The sheer size of the ice hotel is mind blowing. There s dozens and dozens of rooms! I was expecting maybe 10-20 rooms max, but no! There s a really really cool (literally) ice bar where the drinks come in ice glasses! The works of art made out of ice and snow are gorgeous and marvellous! There s multiple rooms with themes: Ocean room, forest room (with a slide) a throne you can sit on, as well as multiple benches and chairs! EVERYTHING is made of ice and snow, including the chandeliers! There s a whole bunch of themed bedrooms as well, and YES you can sleep over at the Ice Hotel! I could go on, but you really need to see this for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

What a experience!

What a experience!

5 stars for being a unique experience that you can t really find anywhere else.

I can t imagine the planning that goes into the design every year. Not sure if it s the same each year or if they change a few things but the quality of work is amazing.

There were some areas still being worked on which also added to the experience of seeing how it s being built.

Having a cocktail in an ice glass in the ice hotel / bar is quite a cool experience and I would definitely come back. Not sure if I would stay a night in a room as that would be cold! - although they do have hot tubs and saunas.

If in the Quebec area in winter I would say this is worth a stop.

Awesome experience at the ice hotel. The ice room wasn't as cold as i though especially with the sleeping bag and the prep they give you. I would definitely do it again. Something about sleeping in the ice room let me rejuvenated. The best part i if you decide to tap out, you can get up and go to your regular hotel room any time. Every ice room reservation comes with a regular hotel room reservation. We were there on probably the coldest weekend of the season and once I got in the sleeping bag and bundled up, it wasn't bad at all.
