H St Country Club is always great. Didn't get to mini golf this time, but there was a cool summer breeze blowing over the rooftop bar and great music. Recommend the nachos, they easily serve as dinner for two

OK, so you just met somebody, want to take them out for a good time but you're sick of the boring that is DC? Head up to the Country Club and challenge them to some SkeeBall. Suck at that? Fine, don't admit it, but maybe play them in a little shuffleboard? I played that 3 times and I've won 2/3. It's easy! What?? Still horrible at that? Shame...but how about GIANT Jenga! Yep, they have that too now. When you get it stacked to the roof and the ENTIRE bar is staring at you, you'll appreciate it. Don't get nervous, they'll cheer you on. Lost at Jenga? Head upstairs and play some Mini Golf while sipping on some scotch and you'll be ok afterwards. Suck at that? It's ok, you'll have plenty to talk about by now since you...lost a lot.

Seriously though, its an amazing place with a lot of fun games. I've never met an a-hole here either. The crowd is the best and I've even made friends here who ended up living right next to me! Everybody is laid back here.

The drink selection is always nice. From IPAs on tap to PBR in the can. They even have a few funny ones like Pork Slap or Moo Thunder Stout in cans. You can't go wrong here when looking for drinks. Also, most mixed drinks are made generously so enjoy those too.

Great place to bring a fun crowd to drink and play some giant jenga or try the mini golf. No frills but the rooftop is excellent. Not a place for foodies with high expectations. Chill crowd.

Great happy hour and good cocktails. The food looks pretty good but didn't have anything besides the chips and guac. Mini golf course was disappointing but the games were fun. Skeeball is always awesome. Upstairs seemed more quiet for families. The bar area downstairs was pretty crowded during a Friday evening happy hour.

Found this place on a "best places for families in DC" website. No website, so couldn't see details. In my opinion, this is not family friendly as it is basically a bar and my family was only admitted after 7 if the adults didn't order alcohol. Games are few and very tired. Mini golf is a joke- cardboard box obstacles??? No kids menu, nothing on the menu my kids would eat. Can't speak for the food, didn't stay long enough to order.

Fun place for games and drinks. The mini golf goes by quickly but is a blast. Shuffle board there is fun, the board closest the wall is not the most level so pick the other one if you can.

Fun atmosphere. Seemed a little unorganized but tacos were great and drinks were good. Drinks are a little overpriced but the games they have are fun and all of them were working which is always a surprise when you go to a place like this. Would definitely return!

I've really only ever come to H Street Country Club for the mini golf! It's nine holes of D.C.-themed obstacles, with plenty of surfaces to put your drink down, which is always a plus. The mini golf is a little expensive, but I think it's the only place to play in D.C. so it's hard to complain too much about a bar offering a chance to play nine holes.

I've been to H Street Country Club a few times and have always enjoyed myself. Margaritas are solid, which in itself is a bragging right (how is it so hard to perfect a drink with three ingredients??). Pimm's Cups are light, refreshing, and made with fresh berries. Games are fun when you're in the mood to goof off with friends: shuffleboard, skee ball, put put, arcade games, the works. Best of all, they swipe your card and give it back to you when you open a tab the days of leaving your card behind at bars are over. A fair 20% gratuity is added to your check and time spent tracking down and retrieving your card are saved. Brilliant.

Despite the games and drink specials, this place feels largely unremarkable. If you're just looking to grab a beer, by all means stop in, but the atmosphere doesn't feel as fun as the concept makes it out to be. The music is often too loud to hear your friends.

I loved it. Haven't gotten to do the putt putt yet, but I had so much fun playing skee ball and giant Jenga. I got a margarita and chips and dips with pico, guac, and black bean dip and it was all so good. Probably going back tonight to play putt putt!
