The psychiatric unit is an eyesore. Ruined structures, disgusting facilities, and haughty staff. Especially the referent, a doctor who does not hesitate to demean his patients and obviously has no intention of helping them. I point out to him that he is not very sympathetic "And you never question yourself?" he points out to me in a dry voice, outraged by my completely justified remark (and again I was soft). The difference is that I am not responsible for the health of my patients, my attitude has no impact whatsoever on others dear sir. On the other hand, a shrink who pushes his patients is lamentable. Treatments are medicated only. The patients are constantly on drugs, "take your pill and leave us alone" pointed out the nurse to a patient. Basically "go show yourself, please allow us to remain idle". Refusing mind-numbing treatment is considered the biggest affront, and will not help to establish a constructive and restorative dialogue with staff, a process that is nevertheless crucial after a trauma. On the contrary, it will lead to more contempt. Note, the shrink visits two mornings a week, and does not have time to speak with everyone. the nurses put off until tomorrow what they could do the same day "your dressing? tomorrow". and the next day "tomorrow". And Friday: "Monday". To tell you the truth: I was only a visitor, and after each visit to this service with an atmosphere comparable to a Hammer movie, my morale was at zero. I do not congratulate any of the staff who work in this service, and wish good luck to the poor patients and their families.
