The airport consists of two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 at Santacruz for domestic flights and Terminal 2 at Sahar for both international and domestic flights. While both terminals use the same airside facilities, they are physically separated on the cityside, requiring a 15 20-minute (landside) drive between them.

One of the best International Airport in India. The name of the airport is same for Domestic and International like other Airports in India but distance is not walkable from one side to another side and u can not reach on foot. ...because of certain traffic rules. There are few Airlines who are using International Airport for Domestic flights. Therefore, be sure about it and especially when u have time constrain. Santacruz side is popularly known for Domestic flights and International side is known as Sahar side. Pl chk terminal before u board a Taxi or Car or Auto. At International Airport, no Car or Taxi is allowed on Arrival side. Autos are allowed upto a specific point on ground floor. Have a pleasant flight.

Beautifully designed airport, being second biggest in India after Delhi surely ads expectations to viewers, and the premises gladly serves it well. Departure and Arrival are at different floors which increases convenience, parking is well maintenance and well managed having different floor for personal and commercial vehicles.

Giving it 3 stars because 1) connecting to wifi needs a working phone number 2) international phone numbers don't seem to work for this 3) they still use old and slow methods for security check.

Very disorganised , queues should be avoided by giving a fixed time to every passenger to enter the airport to maintain social distancing in these pandemic times

About domestic terminal: The section where the budget airlines flyout is really cramped. You will be lucky to get a place to sit. The section which flies out Jet and Air India are decent. Do not plan to spend too much of your time here, in case you can.

Superb and one of the best airport in India interms of interior and outside appearance and cleanliness.However for domestic deparature , it is not ideal airport inview of heavy congestion. Whoever visit this airport will love and like this airport.

Inside have a professional maintenance of all shops and Check in counters .. clean.. having a very good facilities of toilets and bathrooms.. T2 is a Marvell of Engineering.. GVK builded this terminal.. this is one of best Building I have ever seen. Smooth Transfer.

Great Architecture. It's a different world. Their Domestic terminal closes all the food counters by 10, i reckon. Hence, you have a good chance to starve, if you arrive hungry.

Canadian Citizen, landed at terminal 2. Immigration forms were given in the aircraft (jet airways) prior to landing at Mumbai. Waited at the long line in the wee hours of morning, only to be told that I have to fill custom form. There was no indication on arrival that we have to fill two forms. Went back and filled in the custom form and stood again in the line.
Either both forms could be given in the aircraft at the same time, or announcement made that we have to fill in the custom form, OR clear bold signs posted on arrival to alert foreigner that we have to fill in two forms will be very helpful.

It is located at the heart of the city of Mumbai. Has two runways and is one of the busiest airports in India. It has state of the art facilities and is connected to the city by road transportation systems. It operates more than 800 daily flights to every corner of the country. It is primary hub for Jet airways and operates flights to all sectors. Very beautiful and useful airport.

Hygienic place. Lots of social distancing maintained during Covid pandemic. My family was concerned about the travel safety during this high risk situation but a lot of care was taken to avoid any contact between people and people were made to sit at a distance on the chairs in the lobby as well. Overall good experience and worth the safe travel.

We frequently fly from this airport, as pune ,our city dosen't have an international airport. I have been to many airports in the world , so I can definitely say that this is one of the best airports even in the world not only in India. Eight level parking is available here with dedicated cargo lifts, which can accommodate trolleys and passengers. Many entrance gates with clear signs of airliners. Large beautifully landscaped area outside for waiting with lots of eateries at departure level and arrival levels. Ample of trolleys to put your cargo on. Restrooms outside and inside at every stage. The airport is beautiful aesthetically and the interior is stunning. The food mall inside is very good with lots of choices from Indian food to international brands. Duty free shopping area is also beautiful. Lots of gates with plenty of sitting arrangements. Smoking room at food court area, and recently opened in Baggage belts area. Lots of immigration and check in counters, though security check needs more counters and scanners. As I said this is one of the best airports in the world and as an Indian I am proud of it.

Desperately need separate queues in Immigration for Foreign nationals and Indians. Majority who return are Indians and it would be very beneficial to foreigners when they are quickly processed for immigration.
Moreover Indians arriving for immigration only need to be stamped back in.

Had a wonderful transit time at this airport
It s a huge airport with a lot of walk ways just like Delhi airport so be prepared to walk a lot.
The food courts and coffee shops are good.
They have some nice interior decoration.
BOM airport sure did exceed my expectations.

Some of the charging ports at the gates didn t work.

Good but need to improve arrival section...some people who work there r good especially youngster s but the older people just have attitude and won't even help you...if you loose your luggage than it's also very hard to get it back...just be quick enough and just get out of the airport as fast as possible ..

Its indeed one of the best airport I have ever seen. Excellent infrastructure & interior decorations shows that it is indeed very well planned .Lounges here are indeed very luxurious.Like every other international airport here too there are many duty free branded shops moreover the food here served is nice. Kids can also just relax themselves with the tabs kept for our use at different place all over the airport.Moreover it provided many international facilities which makes it the best airport in India and can be compared with the best airport in the world.

Worst experience ever.. I had my next flight on next day of arrival.. they just had to give one form and get it photocopied.. and there were 50+ people. And only one person to handle all of it.. including enquiry..

Used it many times professional staff, relief from hectic Mumbai crowds ambiance and amenities are modern keeping with times even though it is in service since 70 years

Chhatrapati Shivaji international airport is one of the busiest international and domestic airport in india. Airport is designed very great and services are also very good. If you want ola or uber from airport you can get easily as per booking or you can book a airport taxi service that is very easy and quicker than ola/uber. And if you hire airport taxi or ola/uber or local taxi it will change you parking charges which is around (120rs) as per airport charges. On airport everything is expensive as same as other airports. But here mostly people have to wait for immigration little bit more because of more travellers.

An airport as good as Singapore's Changi Airport! The terminal and facilities are very well maintained. Arriving in or transiting through this airport will definitely be a pleasure, courtesy the wonderful architecture! It is one of the best airports I have seen. However, the dustbins in some places are made dirty by the users. They are used as spitting trays after eating gutakhas and tobacco which disappoints. It is our duty to keep it best and clean, being this is named as Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport.

Great airport experience. Modernized and well equipped. Also the maintenance is very well. Checkin counters are well planned. Signs and directions are clearly marked at many places. Security is really strict and that is very good. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Parking is available and good conditions. The decorations are really artistic and they show the indian traditions as well as the beauty of cityscapes and indian arts. Overall this Terminal 2 Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International airport Mumbai is a really great place.
