Superb place to hangout, many restaurants. I tried Burger King.

Hello guys, this place is awesome and the airport is so beautiful. The services provided by the management are also very good and we get a comfortable journey with the airport. IT is Well maintained by management and the place is awesome.

Need more digital idea to deal with covid checking b4 international arrival, most of international companies are not providing the information

It's Covid19 times... maximum airport shops are closed.
Less staff...less air-conditioning... travel at your own risk.
No sanitization of carry bags done at T2 intl airport.
Whereas Delhi T3 Int airport,best air-conditioning temperature being maintained.
Mum bom airport checks temp of pax upon arrival.

Giving two stars only because it's a beautiful airport with an amazing architecture concept. As far as airport convenience and services go, it's a failure. Wi-Fi is only complimentary for less than an hour. When every traveller spends atleast 2-3hrs at the airport whether arriving or departing. Major airports like hk give unlimited free Wi-Fi. Not enough electronic charging ports at the airport. The worst is the custom and immigration procedure. Whether on arrival or departure, at busier times for international flights, be sure to queue up for at least an hour. The immigration staff are lousy, take their own sweet time, yawn or simply keep turning pages on ur passport, have meaningless conversations, sleep at the desks or simply just walk out on long queues at their will. No signs for foreigners that there r separate counters for e-visa except one small board at arrival hall. We saw many foreigners queueing up in immigration queues at arrival hall for nearly an hour n when it's their turn to be processed they're so furious to be told that they need to go to another counter for e-visa. It's an embarrassment for our country. If this wasn't bad enough, there are staff after immigration to check your passport for immigration stamp. Looks like they themselves don't trust their own staff! As much as the airport is beautiful, the immigration, customs and security check procedures are frustrating, shameful and a joke!

This is my favourite airport in India. Security is very tight. All types of shops are available here.

It's amazing, very beautiful architecture with world class facilities.

It's a different experience. It's also comparable with Paris, JFK etc. Much better than Heathrow

Some of spots in the airport are displaying the historical facts about India with a beautiful display of arts and idols.

There are also world class brands and many varieties of food brands that can suffice any of your hunger needs.

I can very confidently say that if you have a transit in this airport you will not be bored easily as there is a lot of things to look out for.

Huge and comfortable with regularly placed rest rooms. Well placed tv monitors with useful updated advice about health care. The only disadvantages are the immense distances with places and the expensive food.

India's Second largest and busiest airport

Easy and organised check-ins. Good duty free options though highly priced than other global counterparts. Many eating options which serve local delicacies and also international food chains inhouse. Alcohol serving options also available. The airport operations are handled by Celebi-Nas. Hence, no bribe or tip requests are made or hinted. The government immigration officers are also pleasant and no cases of bribe/harassment experienced. Washrooms are easily accessible and pristine clean.
Points to note:
- Buggies/escorted wheelchairs provided for those with limited mobility.
- This is a silent airport and no announcements are made. Passengers are expected to be updated and proceed as per LCD screen info. Displayed conveniently at many spots within the airport.

New T2 terminal is fantastic. Beats international levels of infrastructure.

Beautifully designed airport, one can access domestic as well as international flights.
Clean display, helpdesk, helping staff this are few synonym for the airport.
Multiple ootions in lounge with separate lounge for diplomat, business class and other premium card holders.

Plenty of retail outlets. Don't worry if you forget something to carry in your luggage you can buy it here. Airport is really big!

Pompous structure with worst services.
A curse to international travelers whose connecting flight is more than 4hrs after immigration.

The transfer desk simply rejects the through checked baggages and directs the customers to go to domestic terminal to check-in. That too in try your luck sort of way as they are unsure and just want to send the passenger somewhere else away front them.

Then at the domestic terminal the airline representative just tells the customers to come 3-4hrs before the flight departure. Even though after explaining that we have travelled 20-24hrs and it s a through check-in, we are left at their mercy to check the bags. Got pointed to the waiting area chairs and I need to mind my luggage where ever I go Toilet, restaurant, shopping, stretch my legs, and yoga(WOW! But with my luggage).
I was sent back saying if I check-in my bags now, there is high possibility of misplacing the luggage. What s the meaning of high-efficiency?

Is this for just one customer? Handful? Many? Why are so many passengers hanging with their luggage in the domestic terminal with through check baggage tags?

All this happens in a very polite manner. There is no doubt in the delivery. But it s just the way how things get ignored and taken for granted.

Now my flight is delayed by 2hrs. Which means I need to wait another 2hrs before I get graced by the awesome service of checking my bags.

The airlines know the flight plans they sell to customers. Then they should also plan for accommodating the customer in a way that their travel/transit happens without any hassle.

You might suggest to use transit hotels, but for how many customers and at what cost.

Worst airport with absolutely no management sense and full of irritating passengers

Though liked this look, for a much improved renovated airport premises. Yet needs a basic maintenance, upkeep, accessibility awareness and signages to make it remain a class of one of the best, as what it is intended to be.

Had a poor arrival view post my landing in terms of mismanaged baggage claim belt, exit points, poor traffic outside while traffic cops presence. Acche Din failure...

One of the best airport architectural construction in the world. The airport has lot of space. The Indian flag stands proud in front of the airport. The design is well appreciated.

Not well planned. The walk from aircraft to exit is quite long. There is ample parking, but a bit pricey.
There are some interesting art installations all over the airport.
The food court has a variety of food /snacks /beverages to choose from, reasonably priced.
The washrooms are clean but it takes a lot of constant hard work by housekeeping.

I have found a great shop on gate 22 domestic that sells Gandhi related products of khadi watches calendars

Another great International Airport. It has completely disable friendly infrastructure plus you can inform your airlines beforehand or at the gates and they'll not only provide you with a wheelchair but escort you till your flight. There are even auto's available at exit, which in my opinion is cheapest mode of transport available, specially if you don't have extra baggage. Auto's in Mumbai charge by meter only, so be assured of that you won't be overcharged. I went from Airport to Andheri west in just Rs.150(2.5USD). For ola and uber one has to walk a lot, till the first red light, so if you're in a hurry then suggest you to take airport taxi or auto as they're readily available at a walking step. Food outlets are present both inside and outside of airport. Indoors there are plenty of pits available for drinking water. Ensure to reach well before time. Power banks are not allowed anymore in either hand/cabin baggage or check in luggage so leave it at home else there's no provision of submitting it at security check. Same goes for lighters as well.

This airport taken over by GVK and managed by them is one of the best in India and globally too. The terminal used for international flights and some domestic ones too is the refurbished one that has been aesthetically designed and is well maintained. They have a theme of peacock and thus their design encompasses peacock feathers. They have the Jaya He museum which is a permanent exhibition of both commissioned art objects as also heritage art. Passengers with time on their hand can browse through Jaya He's vast collection both on arrival and departure. Congestion at the drop off point is a challenge at CSIA. Amenities including retail outlets have been provided both at the check in area and the boarding area. Choice of eateries as also retailers is vast and can keep passengers busy. There are airline and other lounges too. Plants are another highlight of CSIA with both the exteriors and interiors having a large collection of carefully chosen plants. One down side of being a large airport is that both to board flights and to come out of the airport after arrival one has to walk long distances. After arrival one has to struggle a bit to get taxis or other public transport. There are eateries outside the arrival terminal too. CSIA also has a hotel within for short stays. All in all CSIA is one of the best airports in India and is well designed and maintained and offers a pleasant travel experience to passengers.

Getting its name from the renowned Maratha King, the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport of Mumbai is the second busiest airport in India, next only to the Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi. Handling over 44 million passengers annually, this airport houses two terminals. Terminal 1 in Santa Cruz is dedicated to catering domestic flights and passengers. But there was problem for pickup...
Just for 4-5 minutes ...
Even for moving vehicle...
They forcefully took(asked) the parking charge (which was for half hour) even when you don't park your vehicle at any single point..!!!

One of the busiest airports in India. Live upto international standards. The domestic terminal can be better . The international terminal is a class apart ! I've given 4 stars for the lack of maintenance. They should really step it up a notch

Chatrapati Shivaji international airport is the heart of Mumbai City. It is located in Ville Parle. Chatrapati Shivaji international airport is beautifully built by GVK. CSIA is very beautiful inside and outside. One who goes to CSIA feels with proud . CSIA offers more space for parkings and all other facilities. Cleanliness is at good. And airport security is very high. CSIA is one of the best airport in the world. The name given to this airport is in the honour of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The airport is one of the busiest airport in the World.

Please be careful don't buy anything unnecessary in the airport as its very high in price and people of the store in airport will charm u to buy the stuff that u don't even need

Pathetic Airport.. once you are in, it will look like railway station.. this is not the standard we expect for a Mumbai airport. Flights are always delayed.. options for food outlets are very few and they way too costlier for what is offered.
Very few seats for people to sit.. limited number of toilets once you have cleared the security check..
Airport authorities should consider raising the standard of this airport.. small town airports are far better than this..
We all know Mumbai is one of the busiest airports, we need to bring in amenities to meet that load of passengers

Amazing airport. Huge, spacious, clean, great security.

Not a good airport. Suffocating atmosphere and dark in the arrival zone.
Employees unhelpful and rude. I heard that the locals are employed and they lack in manners and etiquette. They keep a non-smiling face and are unhelpful. They harass people. Immigration people most if them bad, some are only good.
Pte_paid taxi service area bad and the employees at the counter are rude and have no respect for females. Remember, it is a city of the BJP and Shiv Sena.
So expected to be bad.
Best to avoid this and delhi airport.

An extremely well organised airport with loads of facilities for the travellers. Boarding pass machines are installed at various places for passengers' convenience. It's actually quite a big airport and there are multitudinous gates like 2A, 3E and the waiting area is quite big as well, with comfortable chairs to sit. Do not hire a taxi from the airport booking counter, as they might charge extra. Opt for Uber or Ola instead. Best of luck.

This airport is historic.The domestic airport is as good and beautiful like international airport.Mumbai airport is my favourite. Staff and security check people are very friendly.

The interior may look nice but everything is so slow. From entry to security check to immigration was so painfully slow. No point in making everything shiny if things don't flow.
