Great old-timey feel, and the owner always stops at every table to chat with customers. Not to mention, the food is always satisfying. Would visit again and again.

One of fave places in Cleveland and certainly my favorite Little Italy. Scott ROCKS!
I think I m more sad about the whole experience than anything.
We arrived, it wasn t very crowded other than a party down stairs. We sat in the dining room for a birthday celebration. And we waited... a long time. Roughly ten minutes until our table was greeted. Then we ordered some drinks, and we got them but no refills. We ordered food and after almost an hour of waiting we never saw our server, she never came back to our table.
We asked about a coffee refill and the bar tender was very rude. And said you re just gonna have to wait!
We waited at the table some more... still no one came over to our table.
At that point we just decided to leave. When we were leaving the bar tender and waitress insulted my parents, then said well there is a pandemic going on! Which I m not sure how that had anything to do with anything... because the party they had in the restaurant definitely had more than 10 people. So... ?
I m sad that I wasted an hour here because we went to Trattoria right after and the food, service and atmosphere was wonderful there.
I m sure the food is good, but I will never go back to try it.
Stop reading this and GO. Amazing dishes, fair prices, comfortable seating and dining room. Decorated very cute. Secure and free parking lot with attendant on duty. Friendly owner and employees. Small businesses like this need your business more than ever in 2021, please go and support this family; you won't regret it.
The food was awesome and the wait staff were great. I would definitely eat there again
Isaac was fantastic! Amazing food and drinks. Lemon drop martini was perfect! We had the egg plant roll up and the manicotti. Both were amazing! Loved sitting on the beautiful outdoor patio. Cant wait to go back!
Hate to admit this was my first time there and it sure as hell won't be my last. Excellent service and food! Lasagna and the sauce was amazing. Will be back again soon.
Delicious fettuccine Alfredo. One of the best eggplant Parmesan I ve ever had the pleasure of eating !
Odd choice of decor which could use some updating. For old world Italian cuisine, tables and chairs could match the ease of those you wish to welcome. Instead, stiffly formal for a legacy restaurant. Another contradiction : divine tiramisu accompanied by espresso made by a newbie. Excellent waitstaff.
Great food, wonderful atmosphere! Sit out back if you can, it's beautiful.
Excellent dinner! Loved my lasagna (sorry, mom) and prosciutto-stuffed olives. My husband had the pizza. I would not recommend the pizza but that's just my taste. Free parking. Great neighborhood spot.

Sat in the bar area. Hip To That were playing. Great jazz band, great appetizers, and if you love Expresso and vodka have to try "I'll sleep when I'm dead" drink
Not a bad italian joint. Went on Fri night and had to wait about 45 min to get in. I couldn't see where it was worth the wait.
Wonderful bar experience with accomplished piano player and happy hour prices. We snuck in on Valentine's Day and were very glad we did.
Fantastic Italian food and service to match! My husband and I love it here.
Awesome authentic Italian with a very good and reasonable wine selection. Had the 50 year old recipe lasagna and it was amazing.
Ordered the garlic bread for an app and it was delicious!! Wife's lasagna was very good, but my pizza was almost certainly made on a pre made store bought crust as it tasted very similar to a digiorno. Was the first restaurant we seen on the street, would almost certainly try somewhere else if we ever make it back to Little Italy.
I am vegan, (my husband is not.). Guarino's consistently works with me to provide excellent Italian fare for my vegan self. The drinks are excellent. The bartender, Joe, is the consumate professional, inventive with drinks and has created his own cherries, not marachino, much better. Wait-staff is welcoming, with great service. I love this place!
Best I tree Italian in Cleveland. Also make sure you have the Calimari.
A restaurant in Little Italy with its own free parking lot? Yes please! Plus they have a sweet patio area full of twinkle lights, which is where my friends and I ate. I had the seafood pasta and although the flavor was good, I wish the seafood had been cooked just a little longer. Also enjoyed the fried calamari though and it was awesome! Portion sizes are large enough to share.
I used to love going here. The patio is beautiful, the staff if friendly, but slow, and the food was sub par. There's not a lot of menu options, which I understand-so they can focus on perfection of what they serve, but if they want to grow their business they'll need to change up the menu or add special dishes. It's kind of bland and boring. There was nothing special or unique about my fettuccini Alfredo. I was disappointed.
The frutti di mare is so good I wanna cry. Megan was my waitress and she was very kind, helpful and outgoing. Everything is good just buy it, buy everything. The cannoli was amaaaazing!
Open since 1918 and they still have yet to perfect the art of service.
We walk into an empty restaurant at noon. We were seated quickly, and ordered the calamari as a starter. At best, the squid was okay and the marinara sauce? Cold and from a jar. Then, we ordered 2 pizzas and an eggplant parmigiana. It took a good 45 minutes for those to come out! Remember- it was an empty restaurant. Literally no one but us was there. They told us that the capris pizza would be 10 minutes late. Granted- they felt bad but that won t cut it! They didn t charge us for the pizza, and gave us free dessert but you could tell the pizza was from Gallucci s. We definitely won t be back.
Drove up from Cincinnati for Browns camp and decided to go to Little Italy for dinner . We picked Guarino's and it was outstanding . The service was great. The food was awesome and the owner was very engaging . A great experience . Next time we are in Cleveland we will be going back for sure .
Beautiful atmosphere and great service. Only drawback was the price of the cocktails. They are a bit steep.
Great food on lunch menu. Beautiful and pleasant patio. Had a great time with my momand daughter!
We are currently on the patio. We asked for a table with a fan above it. The server had to ask a manager and the answer was no because they "will fill up quickly " . So we only ordered a bottle of wine because now we decided to eat someplace else. Got the bill and they added 20% gratuity FOR A BOTTLE OF WINE. We used to like this place but I hear there's another restaurant right down the street that might appreciate our business. Wont be back. Oh and by the way, only 1 table was sat while we were
Food is amazing, servers are friendly. The Gamberi al' Guarino is wonderfully addictive.
Food was very good. Service not so much. Still worth going though.
Server was little rushed. Our first time and we wanted to take our time with app, salad etc
After eating the apps, we decided to only do the app.
Prosciutto wrapped shrimp- very salty taste. Tough texture
Calamari- lightly battered
Out of the two would try this one again
This almost 100 year old Little Italy institution has one of the most rare features: parking.
Authentic food and atmosphere. Beatiful patio and wonderful parking, with delightful men sitting out front shooting the breeze.
While visiting relatives in area we decided to try someplace in Little Italy. This place had mixed reviews so we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly with the exception of our grandma waitress. She was a little gruff but not too bad.
The food was delicious! My husband had ravioli and almost licked his plate clean. I had chicken in a lemony sauce with capers that was devine. We also opted for small salads that had a wonderful Parmesan dressing.
The atmosphere was quaint and the food was great. Definitely recommended!
Scampi and scallops were just OK. Clams liguini and tiramisu were really good.
My favorite Italian Restaurant plus they have the best patio. Just perfect every time
this is little town called little italy and best foods
This is a favorite of ours in little Italy. The first time we went several years ago there was a jazz band that seemed college age and played and sang amazing. It s been a favorite since due to great food and service. I always get lasagna (shown in pic) and Mr gets veal Parmesan. This restaurant doesn t disappoint!
Super cool old school interior. Waiter seemed annoyed with everything we did though.. also a bit pricey ( in the end, was $40 for two $10 cocktails and the cheapest pizza) I would go again but stick to a couple cocktails and hope I didn't get a snippy waiter..
Private party upstairs and outside on their balcony. Wonderful. Homey. Eggplant dish, chicken dish, pasta dish. All delish!
Only one server She didnt miss one thing. Marylou was wonderful. Food was perfect. Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Guarinos! The service was absolutely outstanding. I left a package at my table, and they went above and beyond the following week to return it to me. The food was delicious too and the garden out back was dreamy! I love them!
One of the oldest restaurants in little italy has parking right next door with a wonderful outdoor dining area. The food was delicious and the service even better.
Truly Cleveland's number one Italian restaurant. Food is superb, the servers extraordinary, and the ambiance second to none.
Oldest restaurant in Cleveland! Delicious, authentic Sicilian food in Little Italy! Wonderful ambiance!
The atmosphere was very nice. The waitress rushed us, had no personality, and the food was mediocre. For being gbr oldest place in little Italy I expected more. The sauce was bland and the apps were ridiculously expensive for the portion size.
Service was great. Atmosphere like dinner at Mama's house. Really uncomfortable chairs. Food was OK. A little overcooked. An Italian restaurant should offer really good bread, not grocery store style cold slices
Great for private events!! We did the rehearsal dinner here for my sister s wedding. Lovely! Beautiful. Great service :)
My favorite place in Little Italy. Love the family owners - they make sure your experience is great. Backyard patio is comfortable making you feel miles away from the busy street.
True Italian restaurant. Great lasagna and Chianti.
I loved the lasagna, the sauce is very delicious. The braciole was also very good, the egg adds a nice creamy texture to the beef and pork. I also had a pizza for an appetizer which was quite good, nice fresh mozzarella and crust was perfectly crunchy all the way to the middle, without being overly thin. Friendly servers and the parking attendant was very friendly and nice as well.
Best practice would be to get reservations. The food is delicious with ample portions. The ambiance is inviting and the service has always been great!
No matter what I order, it's always delicious!
My favorite is most likely the chicken piccata and my husband always ordered the lasagna.
The food an service were great! It's a fun place to dine in and the live music was outstanding, playing jazz standards.
Romantic place for quiet dinner in a historic location. Great food, and service. Not for large crowds but could accommodate a family setting. Went for dinner and left with a smile and memories of a great meal. Atmosphere was fun and inviting. Off street parking helps as well.
Food, service, service were all above and beyond. Big portions and cooked to perfection. Nice and quaint place, very friendly with great ambience. Very good atmosphere
Classic traditional Italian food with generous portions and prompt friendly service.
Love the old world feel and authenticity of the place. Love the outdoor seating. Definitely recommended!
Food and Service was amazing very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant has been in business for 103 years and I can see why! Loved it!
The restaurant to dine at in Little Italy. Courtyard seating is outstanding, and they're very careful to respect pandemic best practices.
Beautiful Patio!! Waited for a server everyone kept walking past us!! Salad didn't come with meal! When we finally got a server she was pleasant!! Food was good!!
Very much enjoyed their lasagna, but the fettuccine with shrimp was disappointing. Shrimp were tiny and pasta lacked seasoning.
Amazing restaurant! Food is awesome, wine is delicious, and the atmosphere is super cool. Definitely check this place out in Little Italy!
Great little restaurant with a parking lot in little Italy. Food and atmosphere were awesome. Tiramisu was the best we have ever had. Prices were reasonable.
Very nice experience. Service, atmosphere and food was great. Nice mix of specialty drinks.
Quaint Italian restaurant with fantastic food and great service!!!
Excellent food in cozy atmosphere. They have the best pasta sauce.
