Recently purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado from Grossman Chevrolet. I have purchased automobiles from other dealers and this is my favorite so far. Very friendly helpful staff. I purchased this during the pandemic and everyone was wearing masks and taking all the precautions. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

My wife and I have found that Grossman's Chevy service staff of being helpful, friendly and respectful. We have 2009 Saturn Aura which purchased from Saturn of Warwick and about the same time when the Saturn business closed down, we moved from Niantic, we started having service on our Saturn at Grossman's. It has been a great experience with their service staff and I hope it continues for years to come. A great staff, their smiles are welcoming.

He got me approved for my first auto loan, had the car cleaned and gassed and helped me with my insurance. He went above and beyond to make this a smooth transaction. About a year ago I bought a 2010 Camaro from Grossman Chevrolet in Old Saybrook, CT and had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Joseph Wolfer. I was looking for my Camaro for about 8 months before I came across this exact spec I was looking for. I had reached out to multiple dealerships and have been given the run around many times. As many can relate this is very frustrating and doesn t make the car buying experience a good one. But Joe was honest and prompt, I had the smoothest transaction from start to finish and everything in between was an overall great experience. Which I never thought I would say about buying a car given my experience with shady dealerships. Joe went above and beyond to provide me with the best customer service possible and make my car buying experience a positive one. Amazing experience trading in my Subarban for a CPO Yukon. Anna, Basma, and Ariel were wonderful to work with as they collaborated with Jeff Deel the Sales Manager. Jeff was hands-on and made sure I was getting a great value and saw to it that the entire process was simple and easy.
While buying the vehicle went nicely after 80 miles of owning the vehicle the check engine light came on with codes PO420 and PO430 which are emissions codes for catalytic converter. Went to the dealership they scanned the vehicle and cleared the codes. Then the next 100 miles check engine light again for PO430 bring it back to the dealership and they explained that due to the age of the vehicle the estimated $1200 in parts to fix the issue on my 2 week old $14,000 purchase is not their issue. Which in my opinion is just horrible customer service and removes all my trust I dealing with Grossman as a whole.
This is the absolute worst dealer to visit for service. Been dealing with them for months and will NEVER go back. I brought my vehicle there 4 different times for the same issue that was never resolved they let me leave with a disfunctional vehicle everytime and did not care to help fix it whatsoever even though it is 2 years old with a warranty still. Brought my vehicle to a defferent chevy dealer and had all the issues resolved within 4 hours while i was out of a vehicle for multiple days leaving it at this shop. Also everytime i brought in the vehicle i had to show them what the problem was they never once were able to find the issue on their own which is sadly embarrassing for a service tech. Overall i would give this dealer no stars and tell anyone to stay away if u need any actually service done because they do not care about you or your vehicle.

A special shout out to (checking my email to get her title correct) Business Development Manager Shelby Threloff. Shelby was the first point of contact since I came in as an internet customer, reaching out through the dealer's website with some questions. She answered my questions quickly and accurately, and didn't play any games like folks that I'd dealt with at so many dealers. She isn't a "salesperson" in the traditional sense of being the person who takes you through the whole process, but she remained a central point of contact for getting my deal done.
Thanks also go to the sales manager Michael Vicino who took a very open book approach in our dealings, and even though I wasn't fully committed, he burned a special incentive to make sure I would have a shot at all available incentives when I finally made up my mind.
Bobby and Pam, the sales folks who split my deal, did a great job going over my beautifully-prepped-for-delivery Tahoe. Asher, the business manager who processed the transaction, was delightful to deal with. Both quick and efficient, he was able to meet my competitive quote on financing and aftermarket options I wanted.
I have to say that after I committed to buying from Grossman I only then took a look at its online reviews. I almost got cold feet, but then I noticed that none of the folks mentioned in the bad reviews appeared to work there anymore.
I didn't get a chance to meet Linda Grossman, but from everything I saw and experienced it appears that she is doing a great job running Grossman Chevy.

The staff is friendly, they seem to do good work, and their prices for oil changes are reasonable. They also have a nice selection of snacks and pretty sports cars to look at in the showroom while you wait.

Our daughter was in a lacrosse event at Yale over the holiday weekend. We decided to take the camper and made a vacation out of the trip. Well if anyone has the luck I have you know what happens next. Truck trouble yeah truck decided to go into safe mode and a diesel without power is worse than a fish out of water. Anyhow of course it's a holiday no one was open so we called off work,paid for another night and called the kennel which made the dog's day. Tuesday came I'm on the phone trying to find a dealer that would take a look. Being 7 hours and hundreds of miles from home you would think that would be easy. Well 4 dealerships later Bryan Beauvais answered the phone. With in 2 hours and pennies on the dollar Bryan and the top notch service team had us heading for PA. I don't know if I will ever get back up that way BUT with service like that I know Grossman Chevrolet will be there. I could name all the dealerships that could have cared less about our problems and all the excuses for not wanting to lend a hand to some out of town folk but what's the point. The staff were knowledgeable and had a no-pressure attitude when I stopped in a couple Saturdays ago. The truck I wanted was not on the lot, but comparable models were shown to me and test driven. The truck I wanted was stuck in New Jersey, but Basma (My saleswoman)made sure it got here and held it for me until I could come down to see it. We recently bought a used car from this dealership. We had a great experience until it came time to actually buy the car. The process took a ridiculous amount of time, we were there 12-6pm. The monthly payment ended up being $30 more than we had discussed, we didn t find out until 5pm when we went in to sign paperwork. We found out after that there was only one key and a missing floor mat. While we were waiting we were moved to the Nissan dealership where the salesmen were swearing up a storm while my family waited in the waiting room, very unprofessional. Then our paperwork was messed up so we needed to go back to the dealership to sign again. And then if that wasn t enough, we got a postcard in the mail two weeks later that the emissions test was due. We had asked if it was all set and were verbally told yes it had passed and was all set. Very frustrating experience with a lot of hidden extra expenses (in our monthly payment, needing to purchase a spare key, and floor mat). We will not recommend this dealership or return again.

A very professional environment and knowledgeable people. Like any car dealer, pay attention to the numbers, namely which cost line items are negotiable and which are not. Do your research before you arrive and print out online commentary. Then negotiate fairly. I did that at Grossman and ended up with a fair deal.

I was in a rush and had limited time , but knew what truck I wanted to purchase. She helped move me along and It was all completed quickly. John Zito the sales manager was also a great help. Oh where to begin....
I can honestly say that I never left a car dealership with the thought that I could not wait to go back and buy a car from them. My fiance was in the market for a new truck and was having some difficulty finding what he wanted at a reasonable price. We started the day with the intention of test driving a few cars and going from there. We began at a different dealership with a clear intent to drive two of their vehicles. We were then told after a brief conversation that the type of truck that he would be interested in wasn't on their lot and it wasn't worth test driving the same models because he couldn't afford the packages. The other car that he wanted to drive was then pulled up (after they tried to talk him into a random Buick instead) without even enough gas for the salesman to feel comfortable letting us take it one exit on the highway. Needless to say we didn't stick around much longer .
We made our way to Grossman where we met Brian. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous. As opposed to telling my fiance that he was out of luck, he instead went above and beyond to help locate the perfect truck to fit our needs. He introduced us to the manager Mike who could not have been more professional or down to earth if he tried. We actually ended up going to two test drives (at their suggestion) just to make sure that we were confident in our decision and encouraged us to take whatever time we needed to think things through. In the background, they worked as a seamless team to try to find a way to make everything work. They worked to find a few trucks from other dealers that may have better suited what we wanted as well as give options for what they on on lot to offer. Every conversation included leaving the decision up to us, and not the cheesey used car salesman approach. There was a genuine feeling of them wanting to get us into the RIGHT car, not just any car.
Brian and Mike got a sale that day from someone who wasn't looking to buy, but they didn't do it because they were cheap salesmen. They were helpful and worked more as a guidance than an attack force. They used their knowledge to help us understand exactly what we were doing and never pressured or made assumptions. They did their job well, which was to help the customer find what they were looking for by means in which they could feel comfortable with. Also, they're just really nice guys, too.
My overall experience at Grossman's was exceptional. General Manager Gary Arms took a personal interest in helping us get an even better used SUV than I had asked him to search for, sold it to us for a great price, and in excellent condition. He even followed up later and got us some head rests and DVD headphones from the previous owner that the owner had forgotten to bring in! The truck looks and drives great. We had one weird little snag later with the USB port on the radio not supporting my daughter's iPhone for music, but service helped me figure it out over the phone so I didn't even have to bring the truck over. Big help for a busy guy.
Would I recommend Grossman's? I have already bought my daughter an SUV at Grossman's to take good care of her in the snow up at college in the Berkshires this winter.
They are not organized nor intelligent the way that they go about their business. Even called Linda Grossman to give advice on how to make her. company better, and just like her employees, she did not return my 2 calls that I had left a message with on her very own personal voice mail!I will be going elsewhere for my parts and warranty work elsewhere! Would not purchase a vehicle from them, not even a sled!
