Yes...the steaks are wet aged and done perfectly every time. Yes...the walkerswood shrimp are amazing and the size of a grown man's thumb. Skip them! Meatloaf is the best I've had homemade or otherwise and the pork chop is truly one of a kind.

This is my favorite spot for lunch now. Once you walk in, the environment gets you! The restaurant give you a very high class feeling, and it is. Lunch is affordable even to a college student. Burgers are wonderful! Serve with fries and their own seasoning, the Bleu Bayou is my favorite!!

I attended a close friend birthday dinner there. Everything was set up really nice. We sat there TWO hours before salad was brought out. Some of the guests didn't have water.... First and last time there. Manager on duty showed NO concern!!

Had a great experience - the service was excellent...

Had a great experience - the service was excellent! The menu had many interesting dishes. The fried calamari and ceviche were fresh tasting. The chef's special, Kona Steak was flavorful, however the steak was chewy. The ribs fell off the bone and the filet was very tender. The restaurant had great ambiance - it reminded me of Side Berns. Well worth a return visit.

With an intriguing menu and pretty nice decor, I was expecting a little more than what I ended up getting, which was an overall experience that was just ok.

The Calamari I found to be average at best.
The Tuna Tartar was pretty good.
The Chilean Sea Bass was also just pretty good (nothing close to $40 good).

One gets the feeling that this restaurant thinks it is better than it actually is, at least that is the feeling I got. I found it to be a bad return on the money spent and I don't mind spending when warranted.

Funny tidbit, I got a call about an hour before my reservation verifying that I was going to show up - no problem. Then, while dining, I noticed a multitude of empty tables (on a Friday night prime time). Perhaps they are simply guilty of raising expectations while under-delivering!

It was an extremely pleasant dining experience. The service was excellent from the time we entered the door. We were greeted at every point. The food was exquisite. I would highly recommend this as one of those places you add to your list of must haves. I am returning this week and have invited a few of my friends.

Attended a birthday party there, worst experience ever, waited 2 for a glass of water and 2 1/2hrs just to receive the wrong salad and no entree. Entire party finally decided to walked out. Please do not patronize this restaurant!

Never had a problem here. Been here for business, personal, parties, etc. Always a great experience. Sometimes a tad dark lighting for my preference but it doesn't seem to bother anyone else. So, I'm good with it!

My favorite waiter is Connor. He was and is amazing. Donuts, bacon, fries,wine, sliders? What else could a girl want?! They have options for more private seating and reserving that doesn't cost anything which i loved. Great for Romantic date nights or fun girls nights. The food is amazing and so is the wine and staff/service

Great service,the food was amazing. I lived in NYC for a while and this was better than a lot of places there and the atmosphere was very contemporary and good music selection, the menu's lighting up caught me by surprise buts it's those little things that make the class of the restaurant go up !! Great Job guys!! The servers worked as a team and they all looked like they got along.

Terrible service, mediocre food and rude angry management. Especially if Eric is the manager on Duty... Sounds like a recurring problem with him based on the number of Yelp reviews that call him out by name. A tremendous disappointment!

My boyfriend and I ate here on 8/18/13. Our server was Eric. We had an awesome experience! My boyfriend grew up in this industry and is extremely picky, and he was very very impressed. The food was awesome and Eric is by far the best server I have encountered. I would recommend this place to everyone. It is worth every penny spent!

Called to book an apt for my birthday lady was nice booked for 17 people already told everyone calls me an hour later to tell me sorry she didn't realize there was already a reservation for 50 people yeah I'm sure you didn't realize it would of been my first time there but now I'll never go worst bullshit ever.

Contemporary atmosphere, very clean, excellent food and staff. They have a bacon app that is delicious and make sure you save room for dessert because the donuts are to die for. All of the food is always fresh and they make some great hand crafted cocktails that change depending on what they are making at the moment. I like this place because I can get all vegetables for an entry that is grilled to perfection or I can get a burger with everything or fresh fish in a delightful sauce. Love this place!!

Service was excellent, attentive, and professional. Food was meh. Pork Chop was overcooked. Brussels sprouts tasted like they were barely blanched, then quickly tossed in oil, over firm with little flavor released. Caesar dressing was vinegary. Don't expect a basket of bread, its an appetizer...$4.50.

This place is awesome. The interior is straight out of Vegas you would find this place in the Wynn! The fish sliders were great and the calamari was cooked to perfection. We split the salmon salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection, medium rare and it melted in my mouth. We also got the grilled asparagus. The taste of there grill will make your mouth water. A very trendy place for Tampa.

My wife and I visited this place over the weekend and it was an awful experience. The food is over priced and has no flavor. The service was horrible and the managers do not care at all about your experience. STAY AWAY!!

You are better off going to Flemings, Berns, or Iavarones!!

Fiancee and I used to go to this restaurant fairly regularly but hadn't been able to make it there for about seven months until last night. Went in with high expectations and were unfortunately disappointed. We enjoyed some drinks at the bar before getting a table; they let us wait for a booth even though we had not made a reservation. When we did get seated, we found they no longer offer any complimentary appetizers or even bread where they used to bring out a small three-section dish of various things that seemed to change regularly, maybe olives, pretzel bites, cheese, etc. but always good. We ordered shrimp cocktail, fish, steak and salads. The food was ok but not memorable as it used to be, and on the steak side of things, they do not have any toppings, etc. such as Bearnaise sauce.

Probably will go back in another year to see if they bring it back to what it used to be but otherwise we spent nearly $150 (including drinks) for a pretty mediocre experience. For the price, I'd rather go back to Ruth Chris, Berns or even Roy's.

Knowing that there was going to be a large party I...

Knowing that there was going to be a large party I took it upon myself to look at the menu to be able to order expeditiously before arriving. I was surprised to see that the menu (and prices) were slightly different than what was posted on the website. I settled for an a la carte lobster tail and ceviche. The ceviche arrived and was far too tart to eat. I informed the server that I would like to try the side of mac instead and he responded by saying he would gladly box the ceviche to go for me. I expressed that wouldn t be necessary, I would just like to have the Mac instead and he said he would have to get his manager. After an awkward pause of him waiting on a response from me that I didn t realize was necessary, I said okay. Little did I know that would be the beginning of my wonderful evening with the ever so accommodating Chris the GM. Chris came over and offered the same ridiculous courtesy of packing said ceviche to-go. Once again, I expressed that I could not take it home and make it any better than it was sitting before me as it was too acidic. Chris then informed me that because the ceviche was a signature item crafted by the chefs it could not be removed from the bill. That s a new one for me but okay I then let him know that I would like to try the Mac instead. He said they could get me an individual side of Mac which I didn t even see on the menu. The only thing I saw was the Shareable side of Mac that was $9. The ceviche was $11 so I told Chris that the Shareable size was what I would like and even though it was cheaper not to even worry about the difference. Already the business has already been so terribly inconvenienced at this point and I was really ready to enjoy the evening.

Fast forward to receiving the check not only did I see the ceviche on there which was a surprise honestly because both the server and Chris know that it went right back to the beloved chefs, but there was also a charge for the Mac! Other ladies in my party had complaints as well in regards to slow service, lack of service, and the list goes on but I wanted to know the logic in this bill. I patiently waited my turn to discuss my concerns and after nine minutes invited Chris to have a seat because this was going no where fast. I asked him do you really feel that it s fair for me to pay for a dish that was too sour to eat? His response was they were a small business and they have to be mindful of their waste and because the quality of their food is so high they simply can not eat those costs based off opinion. Clearly they hold their chefs with higher regard than there customers here. 15 more minutes into this conversation I gave the price that I would approve to be charged for. He rang me up and brought me a receipt, asked me to sign and expressed that after that I would no longer be his customer and asked me to leave immediately. Problem is there just so happened to have been a glitch" and there were no values at all on the receipt so I had no idea of what was actually charged. How sketchy is that!?! Good ol Chris reprinted the receipt with the amount I agreed on and escorted me out. I looked on Yelp to see if anyone else had the same problems as I and sure enough there was a comment about how a steak was ordered one way, came out another, and it was the responsibility of the customer. After further research I see that Chris has had other run ins with previous patrons who affectionally refer to him as the bald headed troll . Kind of makes you wonder how this place stays afloat. Well not really considering how overpriced everything is.

February 4th 2017. I attended my best friends birthday dinner. I arrived at the restaurant at around 8:30 pm , order food around 9:30 pm . I didn't receive my food until around 11:00 pm and it took about fifteen minutes to receive my drink which I ordered earlier that evening. Also when they drought out the little croissants there wasn't enough for everyone at the table and that took about an hour to get. Other than that the food was good.
