This was the best moving experience ever! After a horrible moving experience with another company a few years ago, I was hesitant to hire movers for my upcoming move. After booking the appointment, HD Auston reached out 10 days, 5 days, and 2 days before the move to see if we needed any help. When they showed up, they moved everything out of the apartment (3rd floor ) and even helped us move extra items into our cars. When they unloaded everything, they offered to set everything up and treated the furniture with care. They were very respectful and so kind! I will recommend this company to all friends and family.
This company stole from me. I had a five gallon water jug I ve been collecting change in for over a decade. It was somewhere in the range if $400 to $500 dollars in change. I was going to use this money to go on a trip one day. Wen I called the owner to confront him he insinuated that I was lying by telling me I need to file a police report for the alleged theft. Please help me in spreading the word. This was on top of them breaking the legs on my dining room table which I was understanding about since it was not intentional. The movers for HD Austin did a fantastic job. They treated all my items with care, they worked fast and well. And they went above and beyond to help get some items to my destination using some extra ingenuity just to make it happen. Highly recommend.

These guys are pros. They wrap and secured every item I own and moved me to a storage unit then 2 weeks later into our new home. They arrive on time and keep the floors protected the entire process. The company always answers the phone each time I called and sends confirmation e-mails and text messages. They are the best.
Our moving experience was wonderful! We were moving our daughter from Charlotte back to Greenville and the two young men were on time, professional and efficient. They worked so fast that it took a shorter time than we expected. I will definitely use HD Auston Moving Systems again for any moving we may need.

HD Auston was simply awesome. Adam, Curtis and Rick figured out a way to fit everything in the truck, through the doors and where it belonged while taking care of both the items and our house. From figuring out how to fit a treadmill through 3 separate doors, to rebuilding beds these guys were awesome. Cannot recommend them enough. Great guys, great work, great price.

Every phone call was returned, followed up with emails when requested. The move was flawless. Polite, punctual, trustworthy movers delivered a china cabinet and table in perfect condition. Very professional and they moving team was good at coordinating the move. They wrap your items very good and they have a lead on the crew to direct the day of move plan, so items are moved efficiently. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have moved several times in my life and this was by far the worse experience I have ever had. Numerous items were damaged including an antique dining room table and china cabinet. Also damaged was a brand new Weber grille, a Craftsman air compressor, a stainless steel refrigerator, several plates, and a couple of stereo speakers. We attempted to contact Mr. Auston but spoke with who I believe to be his receptionist or maybe a family member. She was short and rude! I felt she did not believe us when we reported the issues even though one of their employees reported the china cabinet damage to Mr. Auston the moment it happened on moving day. She stated would have him call us. No apology, she only stated would have him call us. A week or so past with no response. We had to call back and at that time we were told they would mail us a claim form. We filled out the claim form, after having to acquire estimates for the damages, and emailed it to them along with photos of the damaged items. Another week or so went by with no response. We called again and they stated they never received the email which my system confirmed was delivered. We had to resend. Again, another week or so passed with no response. We were finally able to get in touch with Mr. Auston and he confirmed he did receive email this time and "would have something in the mail to you this week." I asked him what that meant. He stated "something would be in the mail this week." I did not push the issue, I just thanked him. Again, no apology. We moved the week of the 4th of July. We received a check about three weeks ago! Of course, it was not for the total amount claimed! And still no apology. Being in customer service myself, I am appalled by the attitude and poor service I received. I only hope no one will use this company.
Driver did damage to my property and this company has not paid after 6 months
Three strong, young gentlemen arrived at my house, quickly and carefully packed my furniture into a truck. They were careful, courteous, and efficient. They left, I left and arrived at my new home about 2 minutes before the truck arrived, and they reversed the process. All was accomplished quickly and in good order. My biggest concern was for my baby grand piano, but I need not have worried at all. They took very good care of it - and the price was very reasonable. I have moved for a second time and am just as pleased as I was two years ago. This was a difficult move, and and these men worked hard and long. They showed great professionalism and care for all of our abundant property. They ended up having to make 2 trips, and still the price was very fair and affordable. I highly recommend these people.

Wow, what a team! They arrived on time, got right to work, had all equipment needed, ramp, pads, cart for the bulky stuff, saw that hutch had glass shelves..removed them and padded them carefully. And since we are downsizing and I wasn't sure where things would look the best...they had great suggestions We would recommend them anytime! Thank you for a great job.
HD Auston Moving did a great job moving me from a large home. Everything secured, & even floor covers to keep from tracking in & out. The Guys were very polite & professional. I have already recomended them to other Client's.
We used a high-end "small loads" company to move a family heirloom dining room set and china cabinet from Greenville across the country, and that company set us up with HD Auston for the local packing. The guys who came out to the house did very minimal wrapping/packing as they took the items and told us they would do a full protection packing job in the warehouse before loading the items into a crate. What they described sounded great, and they were polite and professional, but as it turned out there was no follow through. When the items arrived at their destination weeks later, it appeared that no additional packing or protection had been done and much was destroyed. The local receiving company who delivered the items to us said they have never before seen such a shoddy packing job. The wood on the table was broken with one leg of the table base completely missing. One chair had a broken leg. Most of the chairs had damage from tape that had been applied directly to the finished wood. All the glass shelves from the china cabinet were shattered. Our family heirloom was destroyed due to poor packing by HD Auston.

It was a pleasure moving with their 4 man team. They were prompt, fast, efficient, courteous, and truly a pleasure to work with. Moving is extremely stressful and the guys made it a breeze.
Had a large safe to move. The move went fine, but owner is not very honest with his quotes. Gave me a range of cost for what they estimated to be a 3 1/2 hour job. Job took less than 1 hour to complete, yet still charged for a 3 hour and 30 min job. Couldn t give me a straight answer as to why the job was the higher of the cost and couldn t explain to me what had to be different to receive the lower of the 2 estimates. Even his moving guys agreed with us and didn t agree with the 3 1/2 hour move. Make sure you get an actual figure from him.
Exactly what you'd expect from a professional mover. Great customer service. Our closing was delayed and they accomodated us us by waiting most of the day. Workers were very professional and treated our new home and belongings like it was theirs. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We had Hardy Auston and his awesome team receive and bring to our home a 1200-pound, 6-foot tall safe. They did an incredible job navigating it from the truck into our downstairs, being sure to protect the doorjamb and the tile floors (with blankets, no less!). I was afraid it might overbalance, but they did great. Price was quite affordable too! Thanks, Hardy!

Mr. Auston's company moved me 12/18/15 and I was very pleased. They never slowed down, not even to take a lunch break. They worked constantly and was very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Had a Loom & Leaf mattress delivered by HD Auston (Loom & Leaf's pick, not mine). Delivery guys were fine, they brought it in the house and removed the old one without any problems. However, they arrived in the pouring rain and would have walked all over our white carpeting with their wet shoes had I not provided an old towel at the doorway and insisted they use it. That was minor but am mentioning it as Loom & Leaf advertises their product delivery service to be "white glove delivery!" Ha! Other than that, delivery guys were courteous and accommodating. Major issue I had is with their scheduler. He called afternoon before to advise a delivery window of between 12 and 4. I said I had a lunch meeting scheduled for the day of delivery and asked if they could they make the delivery late in the window of time offered rather than earlier as I did not wish to cancel the meeting. No, they absolutely could not do that. Their scheduler assured me delivery would likely occur early in that window, probably within the 12 to 12:30 time frame. He acted like there was absolutely no choice in matter. Delivery guys actually showed up at 5:15 pm! To say the least, not thrilled with sitting around waiting for 5 hours for them to show up. I called scheduler to find out what went wrong but he had left for the day. Three days later he called back. Said not his fault, he has no control. Not even the slightest of an apology was offered. Additional later note: the scheduler's supervisor called me the next day and apologized. He investigated, said the rain and a longer than expected delivery at a customer put them way behind that afternoon. Said he is taking steps for future to ensure customers are advised promptly when they won't be able to make the initial delivery indication. He tried to make it right and I appreciated that response.

This moving company exceeded all my expectations. I needed 2 adjustable bed frames weighing 175 lbs+ each to be moved from the driveway (where they were delivered by a freight service) to our bedroom. In addition, the frames needed some minor assembly while lying flat upside down and then had to be flipped to the right side up without using the frame legs for support, no easy feat considering the weight. There were so many things that could have gone wrong. But, thanks to Mr. Auston and his crew of men, the move was accomplished in 45 minutes without a hitch! The crew Mr. Auston sent were amazing; just the right blend of professional skill, intellect, can-do attitude and brawn. While they worked quickly, they also took the necessary time to protect our belongings. I would recommend HD Auston Moving Systems for any move; small like mine this week or major like one house to another. Very reasonable rates, too. We live rurally and Mr. Auson did not add a mileage or fuel surcharge.

We just moved into a new house earlier this month and had heard about Auston Moving from some friends of ours who had used them. They came very highly recommended and we didn't want to trust our belongings to just any moving company. So here was our experience and why we'd recommend them to all of our family, friends, and co-workers. First of all, they showed up on time. I know that seems like a pretty easy thing to do, but we've noticed with other moving companies we've used before that they were always late. Secondly they took A LOT of time and care when packaging up our furniture and moving it. They also moved an entire house much more quickly than what we've experienced before. Third - The movers were REALLY nice and professional. They had a great attitude and you could tell they enjoyed working there. I think one of the guys said he had been there over 20 years. It has to be a good company if someone is going to do that kind of back breaking work for that long. We were really impressed with Auston Moving and will use them when we move again!

This company hits you with a bunch of fees to inflate their already inflated prices. FUEL SURCHARGE REALLY? TRUCK FEE????.How about a BREATHING SURCHARGE? OR A TAPE FEE?? MAYBE A CELL PHONE FEE??? These guys are awesome. I had a very large hot tub they had to move down from a six foot high deck. They had it off within an hour and headed to the destination. Very nice and capable people.

Great moving experience. Movers were very time conscious and worked very hard to minimize cost of the move. They were also safety concious resulting in no damage to any of my belongings.
Hardy's 3 guys (John, James and Rich) arrived at 9:45 and immediately went to work evaluating the furniture and getting an idea of all the rooms. They loaded up our largest sofa first, using a black wrap around the entire sofa to protect it. This was not an extra charge, this was just included. They wrapped all major pieces of furniture with either black plastic wrap or blankets. Everything was packed very well and efficiently on the truck. The guys were very polite and quick. They finished loading our 2,500 square foot home in 4 hours, even with me adding several pieces of outdoor furniture that they were not expecting. They never complained about anything I added on, which was very nice of them. They left for Charlotte at around 2:30 and arrived before I could even get to our new house! They were preparing to unload by the time I arrived. They brought everything in the house within 3 hours and were completely done by 7pm. They were able to get several large, challenging pieces into our small doorways and small bedroom hallway. The finished time came in at exactly the estimate given to me 3 days before by Hardy! These guys were awesome and I would not hesitate to hire them again. In fact, my in-laws will be using them when they move in the next few months as well.
Hardy was so friendly, professional, and helpful arranging the move of a baby grand piano. His movers were punctual and also very nice and efficient. Auston Moving made this an easy process, where other companies I contacted had hemmed and hawed about whether they could even handle the project. I highly recommend them!
HD Auston helped us move out of our 3 bedroom home several weeks ago into a storage unit while we waited on our new house and they did a wonderful job. We were so pleased that we've hired them again for when we move out of storage into our new home. Our movers were Vick, Johnny, and Matthew. They were quick, professional, friendly, hardworking, careful with our items, and diligent.
I always hire professional movers because I don t mind paying a premium price for a professional experience. NEVER again with this company! The movers were very unprofessional. Two of them were smoking on the job. One showed up without a mask and reeked of alcohol. They scratch my wood furniture because they refused to cover it before removing it from my home. They also wanted to stop by the store to purchase something to drink while I was paying them by the hour during the transport of my furniture from the old place to the new. The owner was very responsive when trying to earn my business but then went unresponsive when I attempted several times to notify him about the underwhelming experience during and after the move. Finally, I received a random check in the mail from the owner for $205 w/o so much a letter of apology or explanation for the check. Perhaps it s to repair my $6K bed that their movers broke. I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN and I will tell everyone I know about the poor service!
Hardy Auston & his team helped us to move furniture, boxes & other household goods into a large moving container (8'x16' from 1-800-PACK-RAT). Best moving company experience ever. They came exactly as scheduled. Cedric & Ronnie were consummate professionals. They worked diligently & carefully. They were finished exactly as scheduled. Hardy communicated the whole process flawlessly. The final cost was exactly as bid. We have already scheduled another packing job with Auston Moving Systems and would heartily recommend them to all our friends and family.

Due to weather and the job being a little more than what was expected, the job wound up taking an additional 1/2 day and man power.
