Great facility. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean, including the restrooms which always had plenty of soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
Went to see 5 Finger Death Punch Event..it was my 1st time here. It was a blast!.
Be back again!
The TSO show was great, but the seating was cramped.
The show was good, but the View of the Jumbotron was terrible there was speakers hanging right in front of the Jumbotron all the way around the stadium. I have no idea why they would mount speakers hanging from the ceiling in front of the Jumbotron.
I the carnival in September! This coliseum also has al lot of awesome concerts. They are definitely well rounded!
RayShawn s Graduation, very nice ceremony and the Coliseum was very nice place for this event.
The shows are fun but this place can be very unaccommodating to the handicapped. We bought tickets for Disney on ice with a group that contained some handicapped people. The seats were on the top floor which, for some reason has a private bar in the middle of the Walk way. The staff gave our group a hard time about letting someone in a wheelchair through with her preteen and teen children. We had to walk the entire building to get to our seats. On the way my MIL fell because of her disability. We finally got to our seats and watched the show. When we left THE BAR WAS CLOSED. This meant that the person in the wheelchair had to go around the entire building to get to the handicapped elevator. I have no idea how they expect people to get out quickly in case of an emergency. The walk is not short. We finally get down to the main floor. We couldn't find the right way to get her to her parking lot because we were so turned around. We flagged down staff who sent her to the wrong exit (Correct parking lot but no handicapped accessible way to exit to the parking lot). It took her over 45 min to get to her van. Our party had split up by this point. We were left with my MIL who had already fallen once, me, and 3 kids (4yrs, 7yrs, and 9yrs). We asked for help finding the correct exit to get to the front handicapped parking lot. The guy who was helping us must have been in a hurry because he walked so fast that he ended up alone with my nephew for a few minutes because the rest of us couldn't keep up through the crowd. Remember, my MIL had just fallen and was trying not to do so again. We called the next day and over the next few weeks to try to talk to management about everything but no one has ever returned any of our calls. We love Disney on Ice and my MIL has taken all of the kids every year for maybe 8years now. We are hoping to try again this year but we are going to have to go only if we can find handicapped seating that is affordable on the lower level and near the correct exit. Just be aware if you are handicapped and attending an event on a budget. Sorry for any spelling or formatting errors.
Great building but horrible parking. Take your smallest vehicle. Most spots cannot accommodate a full size pickup--literally it would be over both side lines and too long. I parked my old mid sized truck (same width as a new Camry)a between older minivan and mid sized pickup, there was barely enough room to open my door, and I had to fold my mirror in to walk past. Less than 24 inches between vehicles. The passenger side was just as bad. I saw multiple cars that would have required getting in the passenger side. I had to drive past about 10 spots that had vehicles centered but literally on the lines. I have not seen this type of parking since Boston. It's enough to make me not go back there.
I'm never disappointed when I go to an event here. It clean and every seat has a good view.
Awesome venue to see a concert at. Went to see Eric Church and going back to see Kenny Chesney.
Cobra's Arena Football League was great! Food, fanfare, giveaways
First-rate facilities run by a local legend. A Greensboro gem that could only get better through tastier eats for The People.
Saw a concert here. We were in the top level but the views were still great. Everything was nice and overall was a fun experience. Event staff were all friendly and we even saw a gender neutral bathroom. Look forward to returning one day.
Lovely building and helpful staff though some items are steeply priced
Cheap seats, good views & cheap concessions. Friendly staff, very organized, simple & stress free parking!
I love the 90s....Worst concert I have ever been too. They have the base up so much you cannot even hear a thing.
SKILLET WAS SLAYIN IT FROM THE BEGGING TO THE END THEY HAVE ME LIFE WITH NO PAROLE
International Convention of MA, all day sitting and chairs are very comfortable
The Coliseum is a decent location, easy to get to and ample parking. Have been there for a 2 fairs and for a graduation. The graduation was inside and VERY hot, everyone was sweating and uncomfortable. Fair is outdoors, not many attractions, food choices are very repetitive with nothing exciting or of note, very expensive. Needs modernization.
Good and intimate basketball games in a tournament environment.
With over 4 million dollars worth of renovation there should have been a back up generator. We spent money on hotel rooms, tickets, food, and beverages which adds up quickly for the show to he stopped!
Saw wwe raw there, first time ever going. The Coliseum is always clean and well taken care of, prices are always high, but its to be expected. Some of the staff are a little rude, but also to be expected.
Had a great time, it's a great venue. Enjoyed the concert though parking is expensive.
I went to the ArenaCross event which I enjoyed every minute, the organization of the event was 1st, the attention of STAFF and Secutiry were attentive to everything, the quality of the stadium, the atmosphere, the music, the entertainers, the show was 1st. The coliseum as they call it is quite spacious and everything in perfect condition and maintenance.
This place is pretty awesome. It s bigger now so even better. So many good events and they also have conference rooms for businesses. The foods always good stadium food and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Awesome, versatile venue, but the parking lot is $20.
I saw quite a few elderly and disabled people having a difficult time with the incline leading to the entrance. The parking situation was chaos, with no one really directing vehicles to fill spaces efficiently. The inside is nice, though.
UNCG vs NCSU....they won due to a lucky mid court shot. They underestimated us #Spartans
Was there for my daughter's world's comp for ANW decent size place set up cool but those concession stands really rip families off 5 for water isentje vending machines 1.75 save some cash
had a great time. wish they didnt charge for parking
Only problem Parking was 10 for the outdoor but 20 for the coliseum. Cmon man
There for the Holiday Market. Wonderful time. Parking was $5 and close to the entrance.
They always have the events organized well and plenty food drinks and good entertainment.
One of my favorite venues to watch a show in the area. Great sound, for an arena it also feels somewhat personal and has great sight lines around any seat I've ever sat in. Also plenty of concessions that never seem too busy. Traffic is also somewhat better than many places in Raleigh and Charlotte.
Awesome people in greensboro even met some new friends
Getting in and out of the Coliseum is a madhouse and definitely slows down the process because of the metal detectors and bag search.
Spacious and comfortable seating for basketball event.
My husband and I were at the Carrie Underwood concert on May 1st. I have to say this place is the worst mismanaged place I have ever visited. The doors were supposed to open at 5 which didn't happen we were told to wait on one line but than we were all told to move after being on the first line for awhile. Once they opened the doors we all waited in another area with hardly any air conditioning a man passed out once we made it finally to where your ticket gets checked we were told we were in the wrong line and had to go back to the end of that line which was out the door there wasn't any signs nor anyone around to help you. We waited on that line so long again no air the show had already started when we finally were allowed in even after that there wasn't any sign to let us know where the access stairs were to get to the floor area. My husband went up to get some drinks and on the way back my husband slipped in the steps and none of the staff would help him but another guest did help him and you can't have the caps on your drinks so he had soda spilled all over him. In the 63 years I have been around I have never been so disappointed and disgusted with the way this event was run.
Howard Hewitt, The Whispers, Stephanie Mills, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly
Great concert venue saw Tim and Faith! Awesome! Pricy though
Was here for Winter Juniors. Great facility with ample seating.
Have always loved coliseum just want more security there
Went for RV show was very neat and clean staff was very accommodating
Great place...very well run had no prob getting in or to a bathroom. Didnt eat any of the food so cant help you there. Staff was friendly from what I remember
Went to see TSO, this place is not accessible to people with disabilities. The elevators are tiny and their aren't enough of them. They also had no screen where you could see the show from afar. Exiting was a disaster. My friend was in a wheelchair and we were offered no assistance. They gave us incorrect exit information and we were outside in the cold, due to MS I couldn't walk to the vehicle. If my friend hadn't brought his motorized chair, I would have had to call 911 for help. Employees walked right past us, while I stood slumped against a truck in frigid temps.
We went to Monster Jam in January and had a blast. The only issue we had were the lady's taking tickets when we first arrived. Let me start off by saying that we walked through a flooded parking lot in the rain with a 14 year old, a 3 year old and a 2 year old. We were soaked to the bone. My babies saw the Monster Trucks warming up on the way in. ANYWAYS, we get to the ticket lady and she rudely tells me that they no longer take paper tickets. My boss had given me the tickets as a surprise earlier in day. The seats were in the Schiffmans Diamond Club section. I slightly lost my cool after walking across the parking lot through a monsoon ( maybe it wasn't that bad, but still) and my kids have already seen the trucks! This is their first time ever going to anything like this! A gentleman at the metal detector asked what was wrong and when I told him, the situation was quickly resolved. After that, we had a wonderful experience and made precious memories. They were fast to fix the problem and there are absolutely no complaints about the staff and coliseum in general after that situation.
Fallout boy was awesome, the coliseum was a pretty good venue for the show, looking forward to the next big concert there, make sure to bring 20 for parking though.
We went to the fair there today. It was not worth our money overall. We left after about an hour.
We went for the Holiday Market. We are really looking forward to the Craftsmen's Classic over Thanksgiving weekend! That one is our favorite!
It's always a great experience to visit The Greensboro Coliseum. Whether a concert, basketball game or show with vendors. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, and very well staffed.
Best deal in the City to watch Professional Basketball...No seat is a bad seat. Great family fun!
Very professional and friendly staff inside and out
Everything you can ask for they got going on here. From charitable events to concerts and sports.
