Lovely place, had a nice spot by the door so we had a pleasant breeze in the humidity. Covid measures are well implemented but not intrusive. Food was lovely and wine was morish. One gripe was the cheese board was pathetic given it came at a supplemental charge, no excuse for that in Cork. Overall very good, worth the price for the most part

Did taster menu with my wife through living social offer. Excellent very professional service from French accent server very attentive but still out of the picture. Menu brilliant, portion sizes good which most want in addition to the extremely tasty and novel food tastes and presentation. The menu changes daily apparently as chef adds new innovations. This is the place to bring corporate visitors to Cork.

Great restaurant! For 52 euros per person, you will receive a set of starter, main course, dessert and coffee / tea. Cooked everything is incredibly tasty. The pitch is very beautiful. The service is excellent. Not to visit this restaurant while in the city is a crime :)

I had lunch with a friend and would highly recommend. No, you don't get a 'feed' of food but what you do get is wonderfully balanced, delicious food of very high quality. Abosulutely will be back again

The staff wrre very well versed with the menu and really do know how to hype us up for the upcoming dishes! the only fault would be the pretty radical dishes that were served was a bit much for my conservative palate

The food was very good!

The food was very good!
I started this with 4 starts after I had the main course. It was very good. Then we were left waiting for service. After too long, the dessert menu came, we chose, and we waited very close to half an hour to have a tiny piece of dessert in the middle of the plate.
Anyway, down to 2 stars. Got out of there as soon as I could after that dessert.

Really lovely taster menu! Felt a little bit rushed as each plate was cleared away and replaced in such a short time but the food, staff and setting were all lovely. I'd definitely recommend a trip here.

My partner suprised with me with a visit here and the experience was nothing short of phenomenal! We went with the tasting menu and are still on a cloud 3 weeks later. Our waiter for the night was Luke who performed his job outstandingly and made the experience so much more enjoyable. Cannot rate the food or hospitality highly enough! Thank you!

Food is very elaborated unfortunately portions are ridiculously small and you get just enough to taste what you've ordered. Considering the price they could afford to put a little more food on the plate.
Service is very decent; staff well trained.
The place is lovely and if it's not too cool I strongly recommend to stay by tha small waterfall. There are few tables very intimate.
I will not go back for dinner but for a cocktail or a tea or maybe lunch by the waterfall.

At a Christmas Staff night out.....Dec 16th 2017....good quality food but very small portions. This must be my 1st time in a restaurant to receive half a chicken breast!! And a small half at that! 10% service charge on bringing a bottle of wine to the table... we were seated at 6pm ! The restaurant was NOT busy. I'm not sure that we will be returning in the future....better value available elsewhere.

Friendly efficient staff. Comfortable seating, although some tables are a little close together. Nice menu including a wine suggestion with each dish which is a very good idea. No feeling of being rushed, and not the dreaded "must have the table back by" rule which seems to be coming the norm now at many restaurants in the same category. Prices maybe a little above average for what's on offer. 150 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1side, bottle wine @ 33, one prosecco, one scotch. Tip was extra. Good place for a special occasion

Really impressed by Greene's Restaurant, we recently went here for a lovely meal during our staycation. The menu looked inviting but also innovative. A few ingredients that we had never tried before, with mixed opinions. The staff were very accommodating and attentive, with recommendations on the wine list. We went for the 10 course tasting menu. All the dishes served were beautifully presented, well cooked and tasty. There was one mix up with our courses, the service was a little rushed and the strawberry meringue and mousse was a little below par for the main event dessert, however, we had a great meal. It was worth the price, if a few minor issues are resolved, I can see Greene's getting a Michelin Star, watch this space.

We have wanted to try Greenes for a while now and when we did I was really pleased. On arrival we were warmly welcomed. The food was 10/10. Plus I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, you can actually have a conversation without having to shout. Excellent in every way.

I have been here twice (2 hours from where I live but worth the drive), amazing food, 37 euro for 4 courses is good value for the quality food & service. Staff friendly, efficient and well trained. If you want food that is really well presented, very tasty, this is the place. Have a look at my photo of the early bird menu to see what I mean.

This is a good restaurant but not great. Service friendly but very slow. Menu small but the food was lovely. Portions a bit small for the prices . Not really geared to handle two large bookings in the one corner. Good but not great

Greene's has a reputation in Cork as a very good restaurant. They have a tasting menu with wine matchings at 90 a head (!) and an a la carte with main courses priced around 32 + "sides". We ate from the pre-theatre menu which has a limited three course selection. The food is beautifully presented and full of interesting and varied tastes. However the portions are ridiculously small. We'd recommend the Goats cheese starter. My hake main was bland though (and tiny). We were disappointed with the organic Marlborough sauvignon blanc too at 36 a bottle. Service was competent but lacked warmth. The buildings are very attractive but the decor a little unimaginative. The background music (of 70's hits) seemed oddly ill-chosen for the setting.

This is definately one of those not to be missed restaurants!! The 6 course tasting menu won't disappoint, with each course as mouth watering as the last. Very pleasant surroundings, helpful and friendly staff and amazing food- can't wait for the next visit

5 stars is not enough of a representation. If I could give it 10 I would. By far Corks best restaurant, the staff know this menu inside out and the chef is outstanding, highly recommended. It s slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. You will not be disappointed
