They will serve you inside if you call in advance. I was able to have lunch there and enjoyed a meal of broccoli and shrimp in a lightly seasoned brown sauce. It was very good and would return.

Rude Rude Rude!. Don't you love it when you go to a restaurant and stand and wait to be seated and someone comes and asks you what you want. Maybe they didn't want any black people that day. I order what was called Tai Chllie crab soup. What a joke!. Someone had taken a can of crushed tomatoes and thrown in some cheap crab meat and a little chili. It was terrible. When they came a took my plate and noticed that the soup hadn't been touched. they didn't even bother to ask if there was a problem. I guess they already knew. Needless to say I will never go back or take anyone there.

The Green Leaf restaurant is a very big secret. The food is superb, and the service is without match. Every visit is a treat (especially pan noodles ). Great food selection. and it seems like each meal is delivered with pride. Food prices are very reasonable and portions very, very adequate. The management is always hovering near by to ensure satisfaction.
Treat me anytime, but please tmake it at the Green Leaf !

The prices online are not the correct price. Once I got there my bill was higher than what is advertised on the online menu. The lady kept explaining the price change on the store's menu but news flash, people are doing online orders more now days. I won't know about your price changes until I get there SMH that's not how you do business. False advertising if you ask me! This is not fair and the food is not that great to go up on prices! The tuna tartare is soaked in salty soy sauce. I am going to stick with Poke bowl up the street!

A kind of hidden away gem. The staff was nice, I went in the middle of the day when it was totally empty tho. The have great udon noodle soup and the salmon roll I had was really nice. Highly recommend the udon, for 13$ you may not need much else it's a very big bowl

Unfortunately had a bad experience.

Unfortunately had a bad experience.
The service was rushed and mediocre. Asked for Vegetable fried rice, got a boiled mush instead. The Singapore noodles was bland and the pad Thai was disappointing as well.
Overall, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Been here many times and have never had a bad meal. Great sushi (especially their special anniversary rolls) and are unique for their emphasis on healthier "spa" dishes for about a quarter of their pan-Asian menu. There's quite a few dishes here I haven't had anywhere else, great dumpling soup and quite retro cold lunchtime salads with tropical fruits. Generally great prices (especially for soup).

Located in a sleepy shopping center - this corner BYOB restaurant is charmingly larger than it looks from the outside giving it a special super secret supper-club feel. The dining room is comfortable and no-fuss with proud pictures of customers on the walls from over the years, long retro (perhaps unintentionally but it works) booths, decor and usually jazzy music feels cozy and calm.

Service is similarly toned - unperturbed but friendly and attentive. They know a lot of their customers. This is for low-key homey lunch dates and dinners and rainy days for pots of tea.

Incredibly dinky like most places in MD, but fantastic Miso soup and surprisingly good sushi (I only had avocado and cucumber rolls). House salad left something to be desired. Waiter was weird with our credit card and complained it didn't work only because tips couldn't go on cards , which was odd.

This is certainly one of, if not THE best Sushi / Asian food outposts in Baltimore. It's in the corner of a strip mall, but don't hold that against them - the food is consistent and excellent. A full set of Sushi and Sashimi options, along with cooked entrees and appetizers make this a full menu restaurant. The sesame chicken entree is delicious, as is the sushi bar salad - but you can't go really wrong with anything on the menu (I've had them all!). Make a reservation on the weekends or you won't get in until after 9pm. Reminder: this is BYOB, so if you use the liquor store next door and mention "Greenleaf" they will give you a 10% discount - or should at any rate.

Very good value, especially at lunch. Their dinner menu is about 40-50% more expensive, but I don't know if they give you more or something. Anyway, lunch portion is quite large, and you won't go away hungry. Had Singapore noodles. Very nicely done. Not oily at all. Will return.

Ordered take out and was very dissatisfied. We did not even finish our 45.00 dollar meal.....because it was tasteless and I question the freshness. The crunchy roll had no crunch and the crab of the crab wontons was lost in a sea of cream cheese. We will not be ordering from here again.

And genuine,warm,prompt service.
I will keep returning with family and friends .
It has been very rare for me to have such a consistently great restaurant experience!

The husband and wife couple who own the place are always there and are very helpful. I am one to try new things and everything they recommend I love. Definitely the best sushi spot in the timonium/hunt valley area.

Have been a regular customer for sometime. Picked up carry out Last Friday for my wife and I. I got the Salmon. After eating half of the meal, I bit into a large piece of sharp plastic .
I called the restaurant to let them know so they could check there kitchen. The young girl at the desk apologized and took my phone number, said she would call me back and credit me for the meal. No one ever called me.
You would think that they would have jumped at the chance to rectify the mistake and save a customer. I guess they have enough business without me. Not good business. I hope no one else had to experience such scary stuff.

Enjoyed tasty miso soup, an avocado salad and sticky rice mango desert. We ll be back when possible.
UPDATE: And so we did...this time with an international visitor. And...once again we were impressed by the food and the staff. The overall experience again was pleasant.

Very bad service. The staff was rude and couldn't give a table we asked for even though it was unoccupied and not reserved. Just said choose from these two or go.
Very disappointed with the attitude of some staff after being regular patrons for 2 years...

Delicious food, and the portions were huge! Loved their sushi options and every dish I tried (I was with a large group) was delicious. This is a Bring Your Own Alcohol place but don't worry, there is a liquor store next door.

Once my clients shared with me about this gem, as their favourite, it immediately became my fiance's and my favourite, go-to, sushi place. I'm originally from the NoVA/DC area, so my ideas of a top-notch sushi place were very critical.

Not only do they serve amazing sushi, sushimi, and specialty rolls, they also serve other popular Asian cuisine. Some of our favourite Asian dishes are their Singapore Noodle w/shrimp, Pad Thai w/shrimp and chicken, and top favourite Drunken Noodle w/beef and chicken. Today, I had my fiance try their Tuna Tartar...he loved it! The Tuna Tartar consists of big chunks of tuna, avocado, and a few pieces of cucumber. Incredible!

All of their dishes are made with high quality and fresh ingredients. You can immediately tell from the amazing flavours.

To top it off, the owners, Peggy and Charlie, and their staff are wonderful, attentive, and incredibly nice people! Honestly can't say that about a few of the other sushi spots in the area, who act like you're bothering them.

Green Leaf has been our absolute favourite place for the past 4 years and will continue to be so.

Ohmygosh the food is amazing! Found it via Google and read reviews. Spot on! We got Japanese pan noodle, the light brown sauce was delicious and the vegetables perfect! Kids loved their sushi and the crab wontons were some of the best I've ever had!

Great food. While I won't say that it's my favorite sushi venue, it's near the top. Other non-sushi options are great and better quality than some other Japanese restaurants in the area. Its byob which I view as a big plus. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair. Easy parking and usually not over-crowded though it is usually not empty.

The sushi was ok, service alright, but seemed sort of dingy inside. My friend and I ordered a sushi roll and a lunch bento box. The bento box was a joke. I ordered teriyaki chicken. It came as a piece of plain chicken breast (like the kind you get from the grocery store in a pack) that seemed microwaved and boring/dry, sliced into chunks with a tiny bit of sauce thrown on top of it. I could make that at home in 4 minutes. It wasn't actually cooked like you'd expect teriyaki chicken to be. Then the "ginger dressing" on the lettuce for the salad was weird and yellow and tasted nothing like ginger. The sushi was okay but for the price and atmosphere I was very disappointed with the lack of care given to the entrees. Probably won't return.

I always get the California roll. I have ordered from here numerous times over the past few years and have never had a bad experience. The roll is always fresh and tastes great. The service is good for me, but I have never eaten in the actual place. I always get mine to go.

I love this place. Whenever I get a cold I stop here for miso and crab wontons. I am always greated with a smile, fresh soup and a staff member who always wishes me well. It makes me feel 10 times better.
