Had lunch there on a nice sunny day last week. Our service was very much fun and friendly. The crab soup was very tasty. Shrimp creole was also very good. Lots of flavor and taste without being overwhelmingly spicy. On the main Street. It was in odd time of the afternoon so luckily we found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant.

My Irish friend and I came in for a late lunch on Friday, June 16. Service was great! Crowd was initially super small but started growing. The servers were Rachel and another gal who's name I can't recall. There was a pair of senior ladies seated near us, and one needed some Aleve. Both servers were very kind to her, and searched the place for Aleve to give her. Great service, great attitudes, and of course always great food! Love that we have this place in little old Waynesboro! :-)

Please don't go to this restaurant. You will make it a destination. It will be crowded . The owners will raise there prices and in short make everyone lose. Go to eat someplace else unless you want amazing cuisine in a casual atmosphere at rediculously low prices

We had a great meal and they have a great selection of local beers. We were just driving by and found this place to have many great options. My wife loved her duck entree. The sides were well thought out and tasted great.

I wasn't completely impressed with this restaurant. Based upon the reviews, I thought it was going to be exceptional. My husband and I were both disappointed with the food. The owner did apologize and tried to offer us something else but we refused. I did have some of the best red wine I have ever had. One day I may try again....

Excellent food and service every single time I've been to Green Leaf. Try the drunken fried shrimp or the baked brie appetizer! Their burgers are bomb too. They even have fried alligator on the menu! I tried it for the first time last week and it was actually really good. This is my go-to spot for date night (live music is always great). Or if i want to order to go, or eat at the bar with a beer! Service and food has always been top notch. Definitely a Waynesboro staple!

Great food, this little hidden gem is about the only nice dining restaurant in this area. The wait is unbelievable for a table, even on an off day. The staff is friendly and the bartenders are very skilled. The ambiance is a bit bright and sterile and could stand some softening.

This was at one time a great place for New Orleans inspired cuisine but has really gone down hill. The crawfish etouffe and shrimp po' boy sandwiches were a favorite until lately, when the potion size and quality no longer matches the menu price. The calamari appetizer is now obviously of the generic freezer burnt variety, the po'boy now has more onions than shrimp, and the mashed potatoes are fake. For a casual dinner in the $25/plate this will have me walking down the street to a different establishment.

The best local restaurant in Waynesboro. The menu is great and most of it has a new Orleans flavor to it. Have a lot of options you can't get anywhere else such as alligator, duck etc. Great friendly wait staff and excellent drink selection from the bar with local brewery and distillery options.

An unexpected surprise on my way home from vacation.
I was searching for a place to eat off of I64 in western Va that didn't have a drive thru or was part of a chain. I pulled into Waynesboro, headed downtown and stopped at the first parking space I saw. Right across the street was the Green Leaf Grill. It was a little after 4:00 so their nightly specials were not ready yet. I had a Cobb salad with homemade blue cheese dressing and sweet tea that made my day.
They have a great menu selection and excellent staff.

They never seem to have a bad thing on the menu. We always come here when we re in town. They always have nice waiters/waitresses and fast service even with a full house. We always come in with at least 5 people and everything is always perfect! I wish I could give them 10 starts!

My husband and I waited 30 minutes and was not offered anything, not even water. Totally ignored us..When we flagged down the waitress, she said, "oh, I didn't see you", "no one told me you were here". Duh, she serviced the table beside us 3 times before we spoke up. LOUSY service.

Sunday brunch with a wonderful selection of entrees, appetizers, specialty drinks, beers, soft drinks. A bit crowded, and a 20 minute wait, but well worth it. They should make their restaurant front and entryway a bit more pleasing to the eye. It has a very out dated, uninviting look.

What a delightful little surprise as we were driving through Waynesboro! Great ambiance, with live music that was not overwhelming (we could still talk). The food was delicious. We had gumbo, fried alligator, tofu fries, French onion soup, and bananas foster. Delightful!

This place is a Waynesboro staple. Food results have been mixed. Had a really rotten salad here once, but shrimp po boy and lasanga were pretty great. Prices are a bit on the higher side but not outrageous. Disappointed they do not have draught beer, but advertise large bottled beer selection.

This was a great find in downtown waynesboro. The food was excellent; the service was attentive and sensitive to the needs of our toddler. The menu is quite extensive, with many interesting vegetarian and gluten free choices. I recommend the crab cakes and key lime pie.

Had lunch there today and the service was horrible. Waited for our food forever, while people who came in after us got their food , finished eating and left before we ever received ours.
When my food arrived I was so disappointed with the presentation and felt it looked unappetizing. Would have complained more but we were taking an old friend for lunch and did not want to embarrass anyone. My husband enjoyed his Rueben but the fries were cold. Would never return !

Was craving a crab cake sandwich, didn't think I could find a good one here in Waynesboro, but I am very happy to be wrong!
It was one of the better crab cake sandwiches I've ever had. Fresh crab, great quality bread and tasty remoulade. It's a huge sandwich too. Very filling.

Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu. Glad we finally decided to give them a try.

Excellent main course dishes. Best shrimp and grits I've ever had, and I've had many different recipes living in and traveling the south. The pasta special ,a type of shrimp alfredo with both marinara and alfredo sauce, bacon and asparagus ( can't remember the name) , was also excellent and I would say rivaled the shrimp and grits.

Incredible food. The best restaurant in Waynesboro Virginia hands down. Come on Sunday, do the brunch. Great staff, great drinks, great cajun flair but not just a cajun restaurant. I promise you wont be disappointed.

The food here was really good. It is advertised as a cajun restaurant, but I've lived in cajun country for years and I'd have to say that the grill has definitely toned things down a bit. I liked the food, just not sure that I would call it "true" cajun fare.
