Nice museum a little bit expensive for the family but its nice to get the kids involved.
It was enjoyable. Heavily geared toward children, though. I know science is science, but it would be nice if they added some more interesting things for grown ups in the general admission section. Still a great time, especially if you have children.
Soooooooo much fun!!! Plan on a full day here!! There is so much to do and most of it is interactive.
We were very disappointed with all the exhibits that were broken. We really felt like there should have been some kind of reduced rate due to this.
We love going here with our young children! Great interactive exhibits and a fun play area.
One of the best museums in midwest for kids. Full of fun activities.
We visit the science center yearly...My BIGGEST pet peeve and the ONLY reason it's not getting 5 stars is... PLEASE PLEASE supply more hand washing/ purell stations....
Got a membership and have totally enjoyed visiting this year. My kids really like the young kids area and the Nasa Exhibit. We also like the shows and that they always have something new going on every season.
The science center here is Cleveland is wonderful. Very interactive and offers lots for all ages. As an adult, I really enjoyed the information birds next to each exhibit. The kids loved every floor. I never heard the children complain about being bored. The staff was friendly and kept the museum tidy. If you re coming from a city that has a science centre, make sure you have membership from there (like Toronto). You can use it with this centre and save a lot.
Second time here and we really enjoyed it. The first time we we're expecting our little guy but enjoyed watching our friends kids play and learn. This time our done was 2 and he loved every moment, especially the space area, outdoor area, ball pit, and instruments. We didn't even make it to everything. I am always impressed when kids of different ages and personalities are equally engaged. We had a 2, 4, and 7 year old in our group. Honestly all 4 adults enjoyed it as well. Looking forward to returning next time we are in Ohio.
Beautiful .
Excellent Service
Soooo much to do
Beautiful science center. We took my 8 year old and he had a blast and learned so much here. We particularly loved the music and audio section. It was nice to experience hands on activities that kept my son engaged the whole day. I will definitely visit again if ever back in Cleveland.
For kids it has lot of activities..Space medical Automobile and sound technologies are notable ones .. small though...
The cafe has excellent food even if the prices are higher, they are fair for the area. It is next door to the rock and roll hall of fame. The science center had a free day and there were a lot of exhibits to check out. My daughter are teens and they really enjoyed it.
Love taking the grandkids here. The travelling exhibits are always entertaining and informative, as well as, the permanent exhibits. Kid and adult friendly.
A mix of medical, aeronautics and science for all ages. The indoor and outdoor exhibits make this a great venue. Check their website for themed camps, shows and more!
Used to be really awesome years when it first came out. Now it's too crowded and half their equipment needs and update or repair. NASA gallery was pretty cool.
I was rather disappointed at the lack of real experiential opportunities for kids to interact.
Nice place needs more to do and see but i liked it and had fun cool place to go during the air show
Great place to go for a family day to even for a date. You learn a lot of coo information and there's a ton of hands on stuff to do. My kids had a blast.
More for kids but amazing Space travel facts and displays. Interaction is fun.
The kids had a great time. Pretty unique experience for the area.
Lots of fun with both indoor and outdoor spaces to explore!
One of my favorite places in Cleveland! Very hands on and great fun for small children through adulthood. Took my son here and I think I may have had more fun!
This is a great place for both kids and adults. Lots of interactive things to do from electronics to harmonics and some NASA history on display.
We had been on a tour of the NASA Glen Research Center on Saturday the spent some time here with the kids.
A very well maintained "hands on" museum for kids all ages. A place to learn a lot! Well worth it! Hint - get a pass along with an included Mathers Freighter tour - for the best value. The 600 foot freighter is docked out back and wonderful walk about - to learn things about freighting and the sea shipping industry.
Overall, it was pretty underwhelming , but i still had fun
This is a "meh" Science Center. Things have not changed in decades besides the special and the space part which lacks.
I was really disappointed especially at the cost we paid. The kids area is gross. It needs work. The padding around the ball pit looks as though it has not been replaced since it opened.
Just sad...
Love to spend time with the grandkids at the science center. All the exhibits and hands on things for the children to do. Movies in dome are great and the children's play area is awesome. Membership makes access to the center too easy. Great value for your money!
We are members and always have a great time discovering something new to learn there!
3 year old daughter and friends had a blast, tons of interactive things for kids to do and learn
This is a great place for anyone who loves science. It seems like we spent all day upstairs, going from station to station. There are a lot of hands-on activities for everyone to enjoy. Perfect for students in grades 4-7, but there is still lot to capture the minds of older students.
Good museum. Children will enjoy interactive activities.
Good times gun activities. Took about 2-3 hrs to go through depending how much time you spend at each activity
Unbelievable and inconceivable wood and ivory carvings. Railway locomotives - trains and pliers - his favorates. However, many other carvings that you did not think were possible. Inspirational. Encouragement for kids too - (a value to show dedication and hard work.
So much fun! Plan for a full day. It takes that long to see it all. I'd bring your own lunch. Food is overpriced. Not very good. And takes more than 20 minutes to prepare chicken tenders.
Great place to take kids. Teaching a lot of science. Large boat is neat also.
The exhibits are really cool and interesting and it really makes science come alive. I also love how interactive it is. I will definitely be coming back again.
A great place to come and explore science through hands-on experimentation at different demo stations, where you can learn about anything from principles of physics to chemistry to biology to medicine to astronomy and beyond! A fun place to take the family as well.
This is a great place to visit especially if you have young children. It is pretty heavily geared toward kids but I found it very interesting as well. Pricing to get in is not too bad, parking is easy in the attached garage and overall I felt safe both inside and in the garage. It is in the heart of downtown next to the Browns Stadium so it can be a bit of a traffic nightmare depending on the ti.e you go. My only complaint is the hours of operation for this venue, like others downtown, is limited. Cleveland as a whole, folds up and closes pretty much at 5. If your looking for bars or restaurants your all set, but, if your in town with the whole family and you want to go exploring with the kids, you best be doing it during the day. This is one area that the city needs to work on if they want it to grow and be welcoming to tourists.
Awesome tour of the Mather freighter! Recommend this tour to everyone!
Amazing place to take the family! Really enjoyed it.
Absolutely love this place. There are so many things to do and see for all ages!
Very fun, lots of varied exhibits and family friendly content. Best museum in the area.
The only reason this did get 5 stars was the traveling exhibit "Grossology" was very disappointing.
Really fun and interactive. The NASA Glenn center was a hit!! Also enjoyed touring the boat.
It is s great place for a visit BUT it closes far too early. It could stay open at least until 6pm
Exhibits are always is good repair. Best to visit early in the day to beat the crowds and chaos. Great Science Academy has a great STEM program which my daughter attends during the school year and it has kept her ahead in Science class at school.
This place is amazing. Plan out about three hours so you can also do the steam ship tour.
The science exhibits on the third floor are exciting !
My grandson loved the experience here. There are so many hands on experiments for kids! Fun for the parents and grandparents as well!
It's worth the trip. It's a great place for a family outing.
Had a blast with my grandson, some of the older exhibits did not work
The theater dome was great! Lots to see and do. But I was expecting there to be more exhibits for the money. A bit overpriced.
Very good facility that presents science in a manner that is palatable for the younger or less experienced. There's plenty of interactive exhibits to enjoy, make sure to use the hand sanitizer, and their outside roof water play area is really a good use of space.
There's a lot of kids at peak times, so try to avoid lunch if you can, but the workers are friendly (Maybe could do with a few more).
Very close to rock n roll hall of fame and Brown's stadium.
My 3 year olds had a blast here. There's a ton of stuff for kids if every age.
Loved the NASA exhibits. (My favorite topic.) And the IMAX movie of the Great Barrier Reef was beautiful. The rest of the museum is a total playground for science info and hands-on experiments. The kids were loving it.
Lots of fun stuff to do, we have a 7 month old and a 2 year old. There were even fun things for them to try, and a giant ball pit area. Lots of fun.
Like the walk thru to get to the Hall of Fame but not the price for parking
