Fascinating exhibits, but center has too many kid-related areas - can resemble more of a nursery than science center - took away Imax film that was once on display for you to see movie and film.

Tons of exciting, educational fun. Geared towards kids but entertaining for all ages.
I am not the type of person to enjoy museums of any kind, but this one was by far the most fun and exciting one I have ever been too. There s so many interactive activities for kids and adults of all ages. Not only are you having fun interacting with the various projects, you really are learning things most people don t know! It is a literally pricey but I believe you are getting what you pay for.
Really interesting activities for kids of all ages. Loved to see a moon rock. The kids enjoyed the moon landing simulation game. The race car exhibit was lots of fun with interesting matchbox car tracks and a build your own mini race car station. Lots of interesting science activity stations to explore science concepts from color optics to motion, oscillation and pulleys.
IMAX movie on National parks and crawling around on the William H Mather was a great way to spend the afternoon!
Very hands on for people of all ages. Really enjoyed our visit.
I'm having a fantastic time here. The space flight section is awesome and all the hands on experiments are so interesting. 5+
Great place to bring the kids. Admission is for science center. There is an add-on for IMAX theater. Fun experience for the entire family.
Very fun (even for adults if you're still a kid at heart) lots of interactive exhibits and the prices are good, at least compared to Chicago like we are used to! We paid $15 for each adult, the steam boat alone would have been $9, or you could get a combo pass for $20. We were sad the steamboat museum wasn't open (Mondays), but we had a good time and still got to walk around the outside of it. Wasn't a bad walk from the museum to the submarine, and then to the Women's Air and Space museum. The rock and roll hall of fame is between the science museum and the submarine as well. A nice grouping of interesting things to see! The museum had a parking garage attached to it, I don't know the prices though as we parked a little farther away not realizing they had an attached one.
Greta place for kids but looking for more newer exhibits.
This is a wonderful experiential museum. The duct tape experience was great!
The value isn't worth the price but the kids enjoyed it for a few hours.
Tons of stuff to see and loads of hands-on exhibits for kids. Highly reccomended for the whole family or any age.
With been members for several year now and we enjoy it every time.
Nice place for little kids (under 10) but nothing ever changes same stuff I seen 3 years ago
Family has a membership here. We really enjoy visiting here every couple months. Only downside I see is people abuse the exhibits and not everything works the way it's supposed to. This isn't the facilities fault initially but I wish they'd fix the issues. Overall, big fan of the Science Center.
Great place to learn about all things. Kids had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back!
This place is very fun and engaging. I learn a lot when I visit here. My favorite is either the nasa section or the human body section
The Human Body and Biomedical features were amazing, and my boyfriend LOVED the physics and NASA sections.
Especially enjoyed getting to see the Mercury and Apollo spacecraft....
Best science museums
Ankurgoletar
A nice toddler/baby area. And the ice sculptures were pretty cool.
Great interactive exhibits and displays. Stuff geared to most people.
Nice place to spend the afternoon with the kids when it's too hot or cold outside or just as something to break the summer monotony. While it attempts to be educational, the exhibits feel more and more dated and it ends up feeling like a race to each station. See it before the kids get bored with it. I would love to see them rotate in some newer exhibits and get rid of the old and non-functional ones. Hoping for some improvements over the next year or so.
Great place to spend the day. Lots of little hands on things to keep the little ones entertained. A lot of fun.
Many fun interactive experiments to help kiddos and adults understand science principles. The NASA space program exhibit was very informative - didn t know Ohio produced dozens of astronauts. Had a chance to play with Curious, the Mars Rover, too. Overall round and open design of the place makes it quite loud during busy hours. Would love to go back when less kids are around.
An amazing place. I took my 3 daughters and they had a blast. There's so much for them to do, so many hands on activities, it was impressive. There's so much to do in fact, that we didn't get to do everything. You many need to make multiple visits to have the full Science center experience.
Amazing informative place. My son loved the idea of science gadgets, space rocket models, moon rock and other attractions.
Every kid in middle school needs to go here! It is what led me into my field of engineering.
Adults can also enjoy the science museum, which has many educational contents such as an astronaut's corner and a medical corner. I think that these can be more enjoyed by children of elementary school and higher grades. There was a space for toddlers and kids enjoyed it, but I think it's a bit unsatisfactory from the scale of American museums.
Nothing compared to COSI of Columbus but, it is still a nice facility.
Awesome attractions. The area has several places you can visit like the Rock and roll hall of fame, the NASA museum and the science museum. You can also visit the water front area and take pictures. Brown's stadium and ball park are not too far either.
Kids love it. Adults enjoy it. Learn things you never knew.
Interesting exhibits very interactive, we had a great time
Pleasantly surprised with the collection of exhibits, kids had fun
Was boring. Had more fun in science class back when I was in high school
Science! Need I say more? Plus it's right next to the lake and the hall of fame
Kids always have a great time here so much for them to see and do. Allow time for shows and experiments.
Nice employees and well kept building along with great space stuff.
Great camps and exhibits for kids. Employees were really welcoming and friendly too!
Such a cool place to go both for kids and adults.
Me and my husband had a blast here. We spent 5 hours in here and worth every second.
Was super affordable!!!!! Definitely a place to go to.
Make sure you have a full free day because there's so much to do here. Lots of hands on things, and would want to go through there slowly and not rush.
Great science center and LOVE the Nasa section.
Always fun. But admission is a bit steep. And why do they charge adults more than kids??? All the stuff is for kids.
Winking Lizard 2018 beer tour party at the science center. I had a great time!! I hope a few drunkin jerks don't ruin it for everyone. That's my only fear!! Otherwise I had a lot of fun there tonight. Thank you Great Lakes Science center for hosting the beer tour party!
Honestly I could find way better stuff for 50 dollars for my kids. Everything was broken or just turned off. How can you charge almost 20 dollars a person and not take care of anything in there. Its really sad as a kid I loved going here. Will not be back for a long time. Should have just went to the childrens museum.
Good place to take your kids for educational fun. Just not on a free day.
Our family visited here during a recent trip to the area. This is a nice facility. The NASA Glenn displays were interesting and informative. The top floor had a wide variety of hands on science displays that are fun for all ages. There is a parking garage attached to the Center. I highly recommend visiting here.
So much cool hands on stuff to do and explore, there's something for everyone to learn!
Great place to take the family. Alot of activities for kids
I took my Children here and they have lots of things for you to your as well as it is definitely a learning experience the entire time. We'll be going again soon.
1st floor is a bit disappointing. The exhibits are nothing special.
The interactive exhibits on the 2nd floor are great by and large. A few need some maintenance.
The lake freighter was very interesting. Brought back memories of seeing many of them on the lake and offloading.
The hands-on exhibits upstairs could occupy your whole visit. The second floor space exihibit is small but interesting. Travelling exhibits on the ground floor are more hit or miss. But kids had fun all ages and curious adults should have a good time
We received a yearly membership this past Christmas. What a fantastic gift. It's great to take my family and not feel obligated to see everything at one. We focus on one floor or set of activities each time we go.
It is a fairly small museum considering the large building it is in, but it was spread out. Lots of hands on activities and a great play area for small children, which was probably the most crowded of all.
A bit for people younger than 18 but the space-related first floor is definitely a strong suit. William G Mather ship definitely is what makes this a strong 4 star experience, it's unique, regional specific, hugely informative.
I love science museums. We visited here at weekend tourist. The Theater is great. The cars exhibit has lots to build and read about the future of cars. I am 100% team honeycomb tire!
Great for the kids! Many fun, interactive things to do.
The expos they have are almost always really cool. Not a place for really young kids though (I would suggest at least age 5). Always take my kids at least once a year.
Super science museum, good for younger kids up to tweens. Great live demos.
Great place to take the kids. Lots to see and learn.
Had a great time with our grandson. He's 7 and just had a ball with all the exhibits. Food was a little expensive and just so so.
