I went to the Grapevine Dodge and Jeep website online, went to service department and requested an oil change at 430 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. The request was sent at approximately 800 am, the form ask how would you like to be contacted, I checked email and gave my email address, also gave my cell phone number. I checked email and cell phone at approximately 350 pm, no contact was made from Grapevine Dodge. I then called and spoke to the service manager who said he was the one who responds to the email but has been to busy helping out the service advisors he has been unable to check and respond to email and asked how could he help. I informed him that I was trying to set an appointment for an oil change and he said no problem just bring it in and we will take care of that. I arrived at the service department point of contact at approximately 420 pm got out of my jeep stood around for 2-4 minutes then raised my wranglers hood and checked the oil. had to get a paper towel from jeep to replace dip stick (very hot). closed the hood and still no contact. I did observe a service advisor (wearing a red polo shirt) walk within 5-10 feet and beside of me (never acknowledging me and my jeep) and then he went into his glass office. shortly after that occurred an employing wearing a white shirt informed me that someone would be assisting me very soon, I informed him I had been there for about 7-9 minute and nobody has even looked in my direction, he then spoke to the above service advisor and let him know that I needed help, the above service advisor said he was out of there (off) and another service advisor would need to help me. He then grab his personal item and walked off. I observed and older man wearing a red shirt walk up from the service entrance area 10-20 feet away he was carrying a handful of papers. This man also never looked at me and continued into his service office. I observed that the service manager was in his office but he is not able to see the area where the vehicle pull and wait for service. At approximately 437 pm (17 minutes after arrival and no contact) I drove away very unhappy with this dealerships service department. on a positive note, I really like their sales department this was my third vehicle I have purchased from this dealership over the years. I will be removing the Grapevine Jeep sticker and tire cover today. I Will find a dealership that has a good service department and purchase my next jeep from them.

I left a review on their Facebook page and in the comment section of that post I have a screenshot of the shady text conversation with the sales person.

This place deserves NEGATIVE stars and their bad reputation in the industry is well warranted. My mom was pre-approved before coming to the dealership by Capital One at 4.49% the finance guy added an ADDITIONAL 3% to her rate. Not only did he REFUSE remove the extra 3%, but he wouldn't sell her the car unless she bought all of their add-on warranties!

A couple of reasons: 1) They didn't have the exact vehicle with features I was looking for. Aside from that their sales tactics were unethical. I was there from 1:30pm-7:30pm negotiating over a vehicle they did not even have in their possession. The sales person (Mario) was not very knowledgeable of the vehicle itself and what it had to offer. The discussion of financing or leasing was horrible. I mentioned that I might be leaning towards a lease. The sales person had another gentleman (Scott) come out to discourage me from a lease. When I asked to see tentative numbers for a lease vs a purchase they just wrote numbers down without showing the price of the vehicle, interest rate, etc. The numbers were not realistic by any means. I was told I would get a call back later that evening with realistic numbers with their leasing offer, and did not get a call back until the next day. This was a call by a 3rd gentleman who was very aggressive and rude to again talk me out of a lease, but would call back with the numbers. I still have not heard back from anyone. This was the worst experience trying to purchase a vehicle, and I would strongly discourage anyone in ever stepping foot on their lot.

I bought a 2015 Chrysler 300 about a little a year ago. Watch out, they sold me car that supposed to be certified. But they never went over the 100 points with me. The worst part is that the bumper paint is bad. It took me a few months to notice it. Until one day I washed it the by hand. And sun was hitting the bumper. That s when I saw that bumper was not painted correctly. I email and call them, never heard anything from them. Watch out with this dealer . I will never recommend this dealer

Cullen, Josh and Kelt provided a no-pressure, friendly and great experience to help deliver one of the best RAM 1500 experience in the area to our family during the most stressful of times in our Country. They explained every difference and detail that I had questions about the entire lineup of RAM models. Exceptional service and the bet selection of vehicles. I would've purchased multiple vehicles if the time was right!! If Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram isn't local to you, drive there. If it is, drive there. When it comes to vehicle purchases, these folks are changing lives for the better! Outstanding!! 10/10

I'm not one to write reviews, but it should be not...

I'm not one to write reviews, but it should be noted the care and concern the service providers and managers take with their customers at this dealership. I dropped my 2011 town and country off for service and was assured after picking it up that it would work (not starting consistently). It did not. So I brought it back and was assured again it was fixed. It was not. Never have I ever had a dealership say, whatever it is we didn't catch it and would should have. We will figure it out, put you in a loaner until we do and get it back to you at no cost working! It's been five days since it was given back to me and it starts all the time every time! For a mom of five driving a mini van, it feels good to know they cared not only for my safety but that of my children and they made sure we were never without a vehicle that worked. Mistakes happen. We all miss things. However, we are not all always, honest, accountable, caring and diligent about correction. Thank you Dakota! Thank you Scott! And I don't know the manager's name, but whoever he or she is their diligence made a difference for my family. My van will always be serviced at this dealership.

Had a great experience here at the service department, David Wilsie was our advisor, we had used Huffines in Lewisville in the past for our 16 Durango...we never felt like they cared whether we were satisfied. We decided to try out Grapevine Dodge and the experience was exactly the opposite we will be using Grapevine Dodge for all of our service and future purchase roughly a year from now

So compared to my recall visit in Arlington much better. As for my request to have a certain vehicle that I was interested in to use as a loaner I was given the vehicle that's "rarely used as a loaner" quote in quote by the friendly service lady. Needless t9 say my purchase won't be there. But the service was fantastic as far as time and how they treated [Mr. Pappa] trk name. Even my radio worked upon leaving. Thank you guys great job

Edit to my earlier review:

Edit to my earlier review:

While there was quite a lack of communication regarding updates on my car and how to reimburse a hefty rental from Enterprise (my car was under Total Care warranty so a rental is covered), I was informed that is not how Dodge Chrysler at Grapevine regularly operates. I called Mike Bright, the service manager, to discuss being reimbursed for the rental payment we were left with after picking me car up, and he was quick to cover what our Easy Care Warranty did not cover. I look forward to returning my Jeep to this dealership to give the communication aspect another try as Mike kept our business due to his eagerness to correct the inconveniences and apologized for the lack of communications.

My overall experience was ok. My fiance spend majority of the evening finding what I wanted. the sales rep was great! He ended up passing us to Christina and she was great as well. Then We were waiting for finance. I was pre approved via Capital one and was going to put down a down payment for the difference I wasn't approved for. This was for a 2017 Dodge Durango R/T. They allowed me to take the care home without anything. I was advised I would hear from them first thing in the morning. I expressed OVER AND OVER I didn't want my credit ran too many times and I'd rather wait for a solid approval from Capital one. They insisted I take the truck home and we can work on details the next day. Well, I woke up to 5 inquires on my credit report and I was furious. I was told I would get a phone call and STILL haven't. I have called the location three times. The first time I left a message and the other two, I have been placed on hold. I still have the vehicle in my possession.

I am requesting all five of those inquiries be removed from my credit report. So in a nutshell, everything was great until finance. As many people would have been happy with the fact of leaving the lot with a new car with no questions asked, I am highly disappointment.

My son was taking my Jeep to Tucson, Arizona for a summer internship. I realized at the last minute that I had not taken the Jeep in for a recall for the cruise control which is pretty important for that long of a drive. Scott got us right in and got it fixed, and got him on the road. Thank you so much for helping us in this situation.

Paid nearly $2300 to fix my AC and it won't work on long drives. Took it back and they can't figure it out. And after I got it back the first time, my windshield wipers stopped working and they wanted to charge me $150 to look at it when I took it in for them to fix my AC again. Used to love Dodge, but not after this.

The sales group was one of the most unethical and ...

The sales group was one of the most unethical and disingenuous I have ever dealt with; tried buying a dodge hellcat on the lot about a month back. After being told they were not marking the car up over the phone, upon my arrival, I was invited to put "in a bid" on the car--$12,000 over sticker was the starting point, and I left. A week later, I was called and told they had just gotten another Hellcat and asked to bring in my trade-in... Upon my arrival, it was the same car. Basically, I learned that instead up of just putting a price they wanted on the car, the sales manager was stringing along half dozen buyers, playing their "bids" off each other... I was told if I included some fleet business, gave a good trade on my cherry trade-in, they might be able to make a deal... Being suckered for the 2nd time, and learning of the auction, I left. Lastly, I was contacted later in the week and told the car sold (again) for $20k over sticker ... Two pieces of advice to that group:
1- when you score a touchdown, act like you've been there before.
2- fleet buyers want a relationship, not slick, quick-buck minded salesmen... Youngsters, you think you made an extra "$20k", but it cost you much, much more.

Horrible customer service and the manager Sean would give one price but wrote a different price amd offered items that they wouldn't honor. I was referred to them through USAA but it was like pulling teeth for them to honor their discounts. So I will be reporting them to USAA. Luckily the finance guy fixed everything for me.

Terrible service! I called to setup a time to bring my new Jeep Grand Cherokee to get some recalls done. The guy that answered told me they had no idea how long the recalls would take, I said okay fine, well do you have a loaner car, he said no we don't do that--we have enterprise. So I asked if they could give me an estimate of time on once they looked the jeep over so I could make arrangements to get to work, etc. he said once again, we have enterprise. Then I asked can I bring it in the weekend and he said no we only do oil changes on the weekend. So let me get this straight, I am going in to fix items which were safety issues based on the vehicles design which is a Dodge issue, I am somehow supposed to magically get to work if not I have to rent a car for who knows how long and you don't know when or when it will get fixed. This is NO WAY to treat a consumer, will not be recommending this place to anyone. Thanks for NOTHING.

Take the prices you see posted online as a guideline, not as truth. When I called to inquire about a vehicle I saw online, I was quoted the price posted online plus tax, title, fees, etc. When I agreed to the price and received the quote sheet, there was an additional $2000 added in "dealer adds". Dealer Adds themselves are not uncommon, but hiding them from the posted price and not being transparent with the customer about them is shady.

Despite the sudden $2000 increase, I offered to the sales manager to split the difference - I would pay $1000, they would pay $1000. They refused. It was only after I made a decision to purchase from a DIFFERENT dealer did they agree to come down in price. Too little, too late Grapevine.

Cherry on top - the salesperson sent me a rude text about how I will need to "stomach" the choice I made (from the other dealer). Unprofessional. Shady. Not recommended.

If I could give you less stars I would. I purchased my vehicle and warranty from your location and have had nothing but problems with both. I have had all service related issues performed at your location and to say your service is lacking is a severe understatement. I will never return to your building and will never purchase a dodge product again solely because of how terrible your service department is. I am going to sell my truck as soon as possible so I have no further ties to your business. I recommend no one do business with you until you make a severe change in the way you conduct your business. Leave me an email to contact you and I will further explain.

Still the worst jeep dealership in the DFW. Modern day con-man. The BBB & TXDMV should investigate the practices done at GDCJR. All employees are rude and commison hungry. Poor customer service skills, better yet no customer service skills. Please future customers do your research and read the hundreds of low star Google reviews. Don't let this be a hard financial lesson learned. It is not worth your time. This will be a mistake that you'll regret, trust me. I am only speaking facts from personal experience in dealing with GDCJR. It is my duty to warn you about their shady dealings. They have hired new staff but the philosophy and business practices are still the same. BEWARE OF GDCJR!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Out of touch and out of date selling practices. One of the worst experiences I have ever had trying to buy a car. I gave two stars instead of one because the sales guys were genuinely nice. They are put over a barrel with the antiquated sales strategy of drawing people in with a low price that includes discounts one may or may not be able to get as well as a price NOT listing dealer added options. I would hate to work for a company which makes you overcome these dirty tactics. The car I was interested in was actually $3,500 more than advertised because they didn't include the worthless $2K dealer adds and the $1.5K incentives not available to me. Glad I found Clay Cooley to buy my new car.

I took my 2000 Jeep Wrangler in to have the clutch replaced along with the throw out bearings and flywheel. When I got my jeep back it drove 100 times better than It did previously however within a week I noticed some very loud sounds. Turns out the tech that put everything back together cross threaded the bolts on the exhaust flange and just left it loose so I had a serious exhaust leak. I have also started to notice a whirling noise When the clutch is disengaged. I ve now had two shops to tell me it s most likely my clutch or throw out bearing. You would think if you spend over $3000 they would at least have the decency to put it back together correctly

I live in Florida and I have not purchased an auto in a few years
I found the vehicle I wanted here at Grapevine Dodge. I was a little apprehensive buying over the internet. I have to say the staff at Grapevine was very helpful and the car was actually better than I thought from the photos. I flew in Adrian (salesperson) picked me up in the car and I test drove it back to dealership. We had already settled on the price before I arrived. The Financing person was great no pressure to buy any extras or extended warranties. I was in and out in less than 2 hours on my way back to Florida. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or used car they were fantastic

Do not order anything online from this dealership. They are not willing to work with you due to COVID. I ordered something online and then couldn't return it b/c COVID shut things down. By the time we could get it returned, I was charged a 15% restocking fee and did have to absorb the shipping fee. I get the shipping fee, but they should be more than understanding to not charge a restocking fee due to COVID. ALL OTHER BUSINESS are accomodating b/c of COVID. AVOID this Dealership.

I visited this dealership today because I was interested in a 2017 Jeep Cherokee that was advertised on their website for $31,838 after driving the car, I wanted to purchase it. The first set of numbers were not correct and I found out they used a different vehicle to run the numbers. So, they sent me to finance to look at the numbers for the actual vehicle. When I got the finance the price of the vehicle was no longer $31,838, it was now $34,000. Despite showing them the ad which matched the VIN they insisted the $34,000 was correct. At this point I left, I wasted over two hours at a shady, bait and switch dealership. Beware!!!

I have owned 6 RAM trucks. I bought the last 3 trucks from Lewis Diaz at Grapevine DCJ. I returned the third time because of his no pressure, but service oriented engagement. I had issues with my 2019 RAM 1500 steering gearbox and brake noise, but John, the shop foreman oversaw the situation. The attention in the service department from John and no pressure sales environment I experienced with Lewis Diaz is the reason I returned to Grapevine DCJ. Love my car! The online price was misleading, when I decided to purchase the car they came back with a much higher tag due to add-ons that they did not list in the original price. So a bit deceptive. The rest of the process, however was mostly painless. Our salesman, AJ (Anthony Johnson) was very helpful; we came in weeks before I was ready to purchase and even though he knew we did not plan to purchase that day, he put up with my sister, niece, and I while we test drove several vehicles. He kept up afterwards without being too pushy, which is a rarity in the car sales world. Staff was very friendly and I did buy the extra package so I get my oil changes, brakes, washes, dent repair, wheel and tire repair, etc for free (the cost of these combined far exceeds the amount I paid for it). Overall, great prices and great experience, just know that the online/sticker price is not the actual price.

** Useful information first ** If you plan on buy...

** Useful information first ** If you plan on buying Mopar Lifetime warranty, google "mopar lifetime warraty". There will be at least 3 legitimate website that will give you a quote online. They will be roughly $1000 cheaper than what these guys offer. Arm yourself with a knowledge before facing the battle.

Also, make sure your agreed terms are in the paperwork. I cannot STRESS this enough. They will try to cheat you if they smell you may be gullible. If you want to know why I came to that conclusion, read on.

My wife bought a jeep wrangler while I was out of town, and since she was not good at negotiating, I dealt with them over the phone. A guy named Andrew in Finance agreed to sell me $0 deductible lifetime warranty for $3500. Upon arriving home, I noticed they did not give her a copy of the warranty contract, and that got me suspicious of a foul play. I went online and retrieved her warranty on Mopar website, and sure enough, it stated her warranty was $100 deductible plan, which costs $1800 less than $0 deductible plan($2965 vs $4795). I went to face them, and they had to cut me a check for $500 when I told them I am cancelling warranty (difference for what they were supposed to charge in the first place, not a penny more). I demanded apology from Andrew for the deception, but the guy kept claiming it was a confusion or miscommunication, never really admit his wrongdoing. The management got irritated and even hostile when I tried to clarify what really happened. They don't seem to treat this fraudulent activity seriously, which suggests this may be a common practice for them.

One last thing, the trade-in they give you will be lower than the competition. They tried to give my wife $10500 for her 2014 Murano. They had to match the price when I told them the other dealer appraised it at $14000, a whopping $3500 difference. Now they are selling it at $16991. The starting price they appraise seems few thousand dollars less, so know your trade-in value at KBB, Edmunds, NADA before the negotiation.

Overall, this dealer was unpleasant, dishonest and highly risky. I recommend driving few more miles to any of 4 other dealers in DFW area.

I live out of town and have business in the area later this week. I found a Durango SRT I was interested in because I can t find them in my area. I was going to fly down buy it, and drive home. But after looking at the google reviews I reconsidered. Then I did a straight google search and a YouTube video showed up where they treated him badly. If they are going to treat a guy badly with 33k followers how are they going to treat just me? I m just an average Joe.

It was finally time to let my 2002 Ram 1500 go. We had spent 17 years together. She had 288,411 miles. I found a truck online and that's how I ended up at Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I had a great buying experience! No pressure whatsoever and my salesperson, Carl, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and provided great information on the vehicle. I was able to get a INCREDIBLE deal on a new 2019 Ram 1500!! Thanks guys!

Moved servicing here to Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep for my 3 Jeep JKUs because I heard/read great reviews of this dealership. So far, everything from Nona James (R987654) as my Service Rep taking great care to ensure my 3 Jeeps are maintained and current on any TSBs and answering my difficult questions, to the guys-n-gals in the parts department working with me on my whims for making changes or upgrades to my Jeeps... oh, even the cashiers are great to work with, too! Great service represented by all with whom me and my family have dealt with when we go there. the only thing we haven't tried yet is buying a new vehicle there, but this should occur when the new 2014 Jeeps hit the lot.

Very professional, efficient, knowledgeable and patient. My wife and I had a brief visit on a Friday night and came back on Saturday to look at around a dozen cars... finally settling on a Grand Cherokee. Love it!
They also gave us a really fair price on our trade in.
I'm recommending Jeff Daniels... our sales person... Outstanding!
Thank you Jeff !
Thank you GDCJ !

Women beware. Typical women know nothing attitude and don't understand what the sales guy was saying, in his own words. Made an appointment with Cassie and got pawned off to Mo, who blatantly did not listen.
Horrible customer service from the sales staff and manager..

I had an issue with a Ram 3500. It was brought to DJ at Grapevine Dodge while I was 400 miles away. DJ diagnosed the truck and stayed in constant communication with me through the entire process. 3 day total turn around for multiple issues without me even being there. DJ made what could have been a nightmare situation smooth and painless. Thank you DJ and I would strongly recommend asking for DJ if I needed my truck serviced anywhere in Texas.

Car buying is never "fun" nor "easy"; however Stephanie made my experience very pleasant. She is very knowledgeable and patient. Next time you're in the market for a new vehicle I recommend going to see Stephanie at Grapevine.

I purchased a truck from Grapevine DCJR in 2013 and received an exceptional price. The customer service was great and I would definitely buy from again. I'm not sure why I waited until this year to begin servicing my truck at this location, as their service department is a breeze to deal with and provide excellent customer service. I will be coming back ere for all my Ram and Jeep needs. Thanks!

These guys are the real deal! It's a first class organization that puts the customer first. We all know that's the way it's supposed to be, but it's a dying trend in today's business world. Well, it's alive and well here.

The service at this service department has steadily gone downhill. I've brought 2 diesel trucks here for regular service since 2004 and never have I been tested so rudely. 8 hours for an oil change and software upgrade is ridiculous. BTW stay away from service contracts. They are expensive promises that they don't intend to keep.

In and out in less than 2 hours - very little haggling. They did work with me on the price and we came to a decent compromise. (Purchased a new 2020 vehicle with large cash down and 0% 3 year financing for remainder.) Only had to say "no" once regarding the "extended warranty" which most dealerships push 3 times before they will let you say "No". Very nice people, calm, not pushy, no "tricks" or "bait and switch". The car I asked for and test drove was the one I purchased. Will use this dealership for service in the future.

Had service done on my car. Service adviser was Chris Martinez. He was very upfront on what needed to be done, pricing and length of time my car was in for repairs. He kept me posted on status and exceeded my expectations. Will tell all my friends and family! Thanks Allen Samuels and Chris Martinez!

Disrespectful people . They had me sitting there for 2 hours, then the manager comes to me and says that the car has a bid on . So now the price will increase by 2000 more . Then 2 days later they call me again and said that the person who put the bid didn t buy the car . But if I still want it .. don t go there . They up sale the prices, and add extra fees that no other Jeep dealership does.

I recently purchased a new 2014 Dodge Ram Sport 1500 Quad Cab from Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. I must admit, even though I had purchased my previous vehicle, 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab from them, they were not my first visit. I live roughly 40 minutes away and stopped by a dealership closer to my house, BIG MISTAKE, rude financing, false promises once received financing, so we walked away. I should have started with Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram from the start. We called and made an appointment, and from the moment we walked in the door until we drove off the lot with our new vehicle, I was treated with courtesy and respect. As a 27 year retired veteran of the Air Force, respect is a huge deal for me and that's exactly what the entire staff delivered. Our salesman John McNatt was extremely professional and personable and worked to get me exactly what I asked for. He coached us through every step of the process, from selection, financing, detailing to setting up the vehicle for my specification. This was and is what one would hope to experience from a dealership. I can assure you, this will not be my last purchase from Grapevine Dodge, they've earned my loyalty and I'm sure they will earn yours as well.

I found a Dodge 2500 on their website and communicated with them online. The truck was a leftover and far more truck than I needed. I sent everything by email to them on my trades. They convinced me to bring the Subaru in for an appraisal. So I did.. Thinking I would be there only an hour, I said ok.. It's an hour drive one way for me.
I arrive around 4p thinking I can be home by 6p. 5.5 hours later I drove off with a new truck. I HATE buying a new vehicle sometimes. They did the back and forth thing for HOURS. Finally the man behind the glass came out and I dealt with him to arrive at an agreed price. I felt bad for the salesman. When I went to sign the papers, they added the sales tax back in. By the time that happened, I just wanted out of there. I was starving and my husband was ready to kill me. So I signed. Love my new truck and I did get a good deal. I just wish it didn't take so long.. One more thing - One set of keys were wrong and I have to go back to get some tape scraped off one of the window frames. My advice to the dealership, change your sales tactics. It's not fun!
