Grand Villa Argentina 5 stars Luxury Hotel Review

Such a clean and beautiful hotel, right in the heart of old Dubrovnik. just a short stroll from the city walls.

We stayed here for 1 week and the location of this hotel is stunning just outside the old town. Friendly staff who will make sure your stay is the best. Really loved it here and was sad to leave

The rooms are disgusting. We had to switch room because the bathroom was dirty. As soon as I walked in there was hair all over the sink as if someone had just shaved in there and the tub looked dirty. We actually paid extra for a room with a tub, when I went to the front desk they moved us to a different that was actually smaller and didn t have a tub. This one was just as dirty as the other one and the lights kept buzzing. Being that it was 3 in the morning and we had just gotten off a 10+ hour bus ride from Zagreb my boyfriend and I decided to just ignore and sleep. When we checked out we realized that we were charged for the bigger room with the tub. The only redeeming part of our stay was the breakfast. It was honestly delicious and the view from the outside dining are was beautiful. This place has so much potential it really has amazing views and grounds but the rooms need to be seriously updated and housekeeping needs better training

The service is very good and intimate, the room is not big but very antique, about ten minutes walk from the ancient city, very convenient, will want to live next time

I had a luvly holiday there. Food was fab, but personally I would not give this hotel 5 stars. We thought alcohol was pricey. Restaurant food looked amazing but over priced for our budget. Also there was no tea and coffee facilities in the room. But the staff are excellent and the hotel spotlessly clean

Best hotel in Dubrovnik. The beach boy Niki is one of a kind person. I wish there were more people like him. Top hotel and personal !!!!

Loud music and people with wedding! Party crowd kept us awake most of night !! People yelling from balcony to lower level! Complained to front desk and was told GM Matea would contact us...NOPE!!! Just like other posting it appears no one cares! Sad for a lovely location, good food at restaurant. Would not recommend as it is not a 5
Star property...it is party central !

Amazing hotel. Tasty breakfast on a terrace with an amazing view. Great facilities - beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Comfy beds, walkable to the Old Town, has a small gym.

It is a very expensive hotel for what it offers. The room is small. Old that needs to be renovated. The bathroom is unacceptable in any hotel. It is old. The bathtub is patched up the sanitary chipped in short it is a disaster and for a 5 star hotel .ca is not worth a star and again ....

It is great, good rooms, good views and good service, the only drawback is that there is no lift and there are many stairs

Little or no predispocicion reception staff, no effort to understand or be understood, nobody speaks Spanish. The old bathroom the shower we had to tie with the gown of the robe to shower because it fell, attached photo, stained carpets. It is the first time that we feel so badly treated, the feeling of being discriminated against.

Lovely hotel very close to the old city walls and has its own private swimming area in the sea as well as a small pool. Very friendly and attentive staff. Our bedroom overlooked the sea and Lokrum island. Restaurant has good views across to the old city. Great location.

Good and expensive stay, but little too far from Old town

Superb accommodation with top service and superb breakfast near the old town of Dubrovnik. Absolutely deserves its 5 stars. The staff of the hotel is also highly trained for a professional relationship with the guest. The room in which I was staying is equipped as it deserves for the price and time when I was there. The park around the hotel is beautiful and very nice to maintain regardless of the time of year.

Amazing hotel, staff were incredible and the property is stunning. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. The team went the extra mile for my wife and I during our honeymoon, AMAZING!

Location is very useful and staff was friendly. They hace beach and small pool.
But the room was a little old, there was little mold in bathtub...
Guests were also mostly old age people.

Excellent hotel and loved the breakfasts on the balcony but let down because they couldn't call a taxi for 5 people, and somewhat rudely offered to call us two taxis at twice the price!

Disappointment. Hotel with excellent and privileged views. But old, very old. Carpet, much carpet, even in the rooms. Spider web lamp, empty whiskey bottle on the floor, behind a chair in the room, which did not move since we entered the room until our departure. Very small rooms. Poor breakfast, with pot juice and very little variety in pastries, sausages and others. Sad and lifeless hotel. You can see his age. Its five stars are very small but its big price. There are other hotels, for that price much more grateful.

I m planning a wedding at their villa Sheherzade (next door) and came with my couple to run over everything. I was extremely impressed with the level of service, cleanliness and of course the location. As a vegan they went above and beyond in looking after me - but the main thing was my couple are so excited and happy

We had a lovely stay here. Gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool and the ocean. Highly recommend you stay here. Great food for breakfast and dinner.

Near the center, parking at the hotel (but very expensive), rooms getting old, breakfast OK (but not top). Great view of the old town and the incoming ships - priceless.

Brilliantly located hotel in Dubrovnik. Right on the coastline and just 10 mins walk to Old Town. Took the Sea View room which has great view overlooking the bay and is comfortable enough for two. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is very good. Alot of choice. Just ask them to go easy on the olive oil on the Sea Bass. Otherwise fantastic place.

Nice hotel a little outdated but a very good comfort

From the outside visually very beautiful building; Room partly a bit worn; great restaurant terrace; Breakfast but not the hotel-standard adequate.

I used the parking lot for 4 days as I stayed downtown. Ten minutes walk down the coast. Much cheaper than stopping on the street or other places. Highly recommend.

Full service hotel within close proximity of the Old Town. Excellent views over Lokrum island, pleasant breakfast and dining. Rooms are comfortable, moderately sized. Private
Terraces over Adriatic provide dining and sunbathing/swimming.

Exquisite hotel to relax. Class beach area overlooking the old town, a short walk to the old town.

We did not stay at this hotel, but our friends did and they had only good things to say about it. We had dinner at the restaurant. Service is great. Food is delicious. View is amazing. They had a TV set for watching the world cup. Very nice ambience. I highly recommend this place. The prices are on the expensive side, but it is worth it.
