Nice place, helpful staff, accessibility to everything.
The front desk is so helpful. The lasy who checked me in make sure I got the exact room I wanted even though I booked the wrong room.
Great event venue! Gorgeous meeting spaces with warm wood paneling on the walls, fantastic food spreads- the in-house catering is awesome. WiFi was strong and they had power strips at every table without a mess of cables on the floor. Loved that I could park on site, too!
The Grand Hyatt was a very beautiful hotel with and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nice and had an amazing tub to soak in. Close to a lot of great food and very easy to go to the market or Westlake.
Expansive lobby and courteous staff. Convenient electrical outlets in lobby.
A great, centrally located hotel in downtown Seattle. They'll make you feel welcome right when you walk in the door, and they have a great concierge desk full of ideas and recommendations to pass along to you. Stay off-season for great rates!
Excellent tons, great service and comfortable beds. The bathroom is amazing and room is spacious and quiet.
Service was amazing. Everyone was polite, and thanked us for staying with them. They were able to arrange side by side rooms for our babysitter and us. Rooms were nice, but small (about the size you expect in a large city). Beds were comfortable, and bathroom was recently updated.
Dined at Ruth's Chris. Get the lobster mac-n-cheese. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful room over looking Elliott Bay. Every staff member was kind, welcoming and helpful.
No room service at all from midnight to 6am, so be prepared if you're coming from multiple time zones away.
Front desk seems overwhelmed at times as well.
Yeah worst experience here. My friends vehicle was broken into. In their parking garage. Definately do not recommend this place. Pay extra for another hotel. The room was average and service was fair for sure. Seriously consider another place, there are plenty around this location.
Event bar was absurdly expensive, stopped serving food an hour before our event's scheduled end time. Food was excellent but slow to be replenished.
We were welcomed with a bottle of complementary champagne and chocolates for our honeymoon stay. Our room was beautiful and spotless. The hotel is pretty centrally located within walking distance of the main areas of downtown Seattle.
Location and parking were very acessible, the entrance was premium, room was prestine and everything looked new. Will stay again.
The concierge was very kind and accommodating, the room service was amazing. Overall it was one of the most relaxing hotel I ever stayed at in Seattle.
Friendly staff. Room is pretty good. Restroom is beautiful.
Nice place to stay. Center place for all activities
Great view, rooms were very comfortable, the hotel is located very close to pike place market and a light rail station, and the service was good.
The hotel is close to everything and it's easy to walk or Uber. We stayed in one of their "view" rooms on the 27th floor and while the view was nice it wasn't anything amazing. The room was clean and bathroom was large.
Very clean and great service. Would for back again.
I wish they had a car rental nearby or inside, we needed a car for a day trip to Mount Rainier and had to catch an uber to the airport :(. Rooms and service are excellent and would recommend to all!!
The location can't be beat.in the heart of the city but still in a safe and quiet part.
An amazing hotel. Beautiful, clean room. Large bathroom. I stayed overnight for my Alaskan cruise on July 31, 2018. I am defiant going to return. Thank u Grand Hyatt - Seattle!!
We chose the Grand Hyatt Seatle because they are pet friendly and at the time we had our youngest pouch a 2.6 lb miniature teacup hairless Chihuahua-Dachshund-Pomeranian named Baby Girl, and for the fact that a $100 Deposit was quoted for our dog.. Next day at Check out the $100 Deposit for our dog to stay turned into the amount they charged us for her to stay with us. So on top of the outrageously high room charge we had another $100 for our dog. When they tell you that you just have to pay a $100 deposit refundable at time of check out, because i asked, well then they shouldn't be allowed to change up on us and tell us its a fee now... After the fact how convenient for the Grand Hyatt Seattle... I am requesting a refund on my $100 Deposit i made for my dog to stay with us.
I was only in the building for work. Nice place tho!
Excellent hotel. We always feel comfortable on our business trips to Seattle. Exceeds expectations. Friendly staff.
Room was very clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for me and my things
Nice rooms although the A/C certainly left something to be desired. The unit in the bedroom seemed to run ok but never got down to the 65 degrees you are limited to. The unit in the sitting room would just turn off after about 15-20 minutes so you had to get up and turn it back on. Didn't really want to have a maintenance person coming up to probably just tell me that's how it's designed to work. Everyone that works there has been very friendly and helpful except the Concierge. On the last night of our five night stay (Wednesday, 10/11/17) we decided to eat at the Ruth's Chris that is attached to the hotel.I didn't make reservations but decided to see if they could seat us anyway. After much to do, they offered us the worst seat in the room which we declined and asked for another table. Since the place appeared at least half empty I didn't think it would be a problem. Back to the computer the hostess goes and starts the whole process over. At that point we decided to just go elsewhere. Then Hyatt consecierge was located just outside the restaurant so we stopped and explained our frustration and asked for another recommendation. He then began to make excuses for Ruth's Chris and telling us they had to seat their "reservations "first and something about a 40 person party that might arrive. We pressed him again about another restaurant and he threw a map on the desk and starts circling places around the hotel. He was still going on about Ruth's Chris and their reasons for not seating us. It wasn't they wouldn't seat us, it was where, which he didn't seem interested in knowing. We finally just walked off. He was rude and defending, vehemently, a place I assume he had no ties to. We went out and ate at the Metropolitan Grill, which the cab driver told us about. When we returned, I needed to print our boarding passes. He was still working and apparently saw me when I had to ask the front desk about printing the passes since both printers in the business office had signs that they were out of order. I was politely told where to get this done. My wife had gone to the restroom and when she came walking back she said he seemed to be having a conversation with a couple others about me, since he immediately shut up and looked funny when he realized she was watching him. Of course that part is speculation but he certainly left a bad impression of the Hyatt after a week of great service. I Would have rated the hotel higher because of all the other great employees but he kind of ruined that. We really didn't understand him being so involved in something that didn't concern him. I would think " I'm so sorry that happened but I'm going to try to ensure you don't have that experience again" would have been a much more appropriate response. Barry Murray.
Very comfortable and luxurious. Would definitely stay here again.
Was better than expected. Felt like I was at home, a nice home! Frame-less shower doors, luxury tub, granite, exceptional staff. Enjoyed the room.
Located in the heart of business district with nearby shops, restaurants and point of interests. Room is clean and spacious. Best to valet park.
Really great hotel just kinda wish there were communal items in the hallways
Nice but rather typical hotel that feels like a conference hotel. Restaurants in the building. Rooms are good value.
The room was amazing, and so was the service!! It's right in the centre of downtown and right by the cheesecake factory. My room was in the reach of 2 pokestops in the area which was a bonus!!!
The best hotel (so far) i've been to for a work trip - there is a reasonably good sized gym - the staff is super friendly and helpful - the area isnt too bad (safe and easy to locate) - its about a 5-10 minutes walk to Pike Place Market (good place for breakfast) - the hotel is also close to a large number of stores / shops (for high to low end clothes or food /restaraunt)
Starbucks, NYC Deli, and Blue C Sushi are all connected in the back to the Grand Hyatt, so it always has a nice added air of classiness, as hotel guests in suit and tie saunter about. Nice spot for getting a bite and hunkering down for a study session.
Very nice hotel, rooms and views are amazing. Excellent service.
Really nice hotel. Checked in really early which was great. Close to pike place and a lot of cool places. The deli in the hotel was great for late diner. Been impressed with the quality and the price of room service. Huge bathroom, comfy beds, great views. II don't believe you can go wrong with this choice
Amazing staff, wonderful happy hour and breakfast options, air vents need to be taken care of-with asthmatics seeing the layers filth in the ceiling vents was not enjoyable. But also the only complaint I have.
This is a great hotel! It was very clean and the bathroom was amazing. They were very kind to our daughter and even brought snacks to the room for her.
Beautiful room. Great location. LOVED the bathroom. Adequate service. It was definitely overpriced. We found the Sheraton to be a better value.
Nice hotel right next to convention center in downtown Seattle.
Actually ate at Ruth's Chris which was amazing. Service was excellent and food was superb.
The manager of the hotel services front desk manager Sonya is excellent. Typically everytime we came to Seattle we stayed at a different hotel. We tried something different in April and had a great experience. Pleasant staff, perfect rooms, great restraunts, awesome locations, and enviroment. We will be staying there every time we come to Seattle in the future. Thanks again Sonya!!

I traveled to America with my sister in May from Australia, staying in a lot of different Hotels. This place by far was our favorite. The staff were fantastic and the Hotel was luxurious. We will definitely come back for a longer stay!!
Beautiful place. Staff was friendly. Room was beautiful. Great location. We even had breakfast at ruth's chris. I don't think they normally serve breakfast but this one does and it was great. Just a beautiful hotel. Top notch. Easy walk to restaurants and stores.
This was our second stay at this hotel location. Our room was upgraded at check in to a higher floor, with a water view! The hotel is always very clean and comfortable, in a great spot within walking distance to many Seattle attractions including Pike Place Market and the Space Needle area!
We had fantastic service and our room was exquisite. We really enjoyed the location. We will certainly consider staying here for our next trip to Seattle. The views were sublime, especially when the weather is agreeable. I highly recommend staying here.
The rooms are really nice, and the people are really nice and cater to your needs
The feel of the hotel is wonderful! Everything we could have asked for to make our honeymoon stay feel extra special. They have so many great features--dimmable lights, the light-blocking shade on a switch, a deep soaking tub and great shower, and we can even order room service on the TV! Plus, every interaction we have had with the staff here has been friendly, helpful, and proactive. It's been great!
It's a nice hotel, but a little on the older side. Service is pretty good but not outstanding. The gym is small but has most things you'd need for a good workout and the equipment is top notch. Despite the pictures this hotel DOES NOT have a pool, and you'll have to cross the street to its sister hotel to access the pool (which in Seattle weather and swimwear might not be a great idea).
It's a grand Hyatt, you know it's a nice hotel. Location of the hotel is great, very close to all the upscale restaurant and shop. The front desk and valet staff are super nice. Can't ask for more. If you're staying here, you know you're staying downtown Seattle so traffic is crazy during the day so just be prepare.
Rooms are very nice. Location is great, very close to convention center and other attractions.
Not worth it! So many more hotels better than this for the price. The Club level is absolutely not worth the upgrade! Very little food and what was there was not good. The oatmeal even tasted bad which is hard to understand. Was charged more than I should have been and had to talk to front desk numerous times. Was told they would correct it but never did. Had to escalate it and was treated like I was lying. Management said that is not what I heard from the front desk person. Wow! Made me feel like a criminal for a mistake they made.
Very happy with our stay. Friendly and efficient service. Facilities superb.
Very dissatisfied with the customer service experience. Ended up having to sleep in our car the first night because of it! I'd recommend a more accommodating, customer-oriented hotel in the area-there are a lot to choose from. The hotel room also had shotgun shells and gun-glorifying poetry on the walls--which we felt demonstrated nicely just how out of touch and intensities this hotel is.
Really great, functional and spacious hotel, with a touch of class
Breakfast was a la carte, be prepared to venture out in the morning if you need something in a hurry and don't want to wait
