The hotel is very good, it is located right in the center, not far from the convention center and the various shops.
The rooms are well equipped with latest generation TV, the bathrooms are large and comfortable

Great room, great service, great bathtub. Everything about this place was awesome. Except the bed had to have been the most uncomfortable bed I ve ever slept on in my entire life. Literally like sleeping on a plank of wood. The pillows were all way too soft (you put your head on it and compressed to be less than 1cm thick). I asked for a foam pillow and they gave me a pillow that was as firm as a brick. Sheets are cheap, noisy, and not soft. All in all, this hotel went all out on amenities and super cheap on the beds. This is why I give it 2/5 stars. Because I got the worst sleep I ve gotten in ages on the bed here.

Coffee/tea in the mornings and a complimentary wine hour in the late afternoons. We had a room that was closest to the elevators, but surprisingly, it wasn't loud and didn't bother us. Maybe there weren't many people on our floor, or the walls are thick enough for it not to be an issue.

Incredible time. They sent a vase up for my wife's flowers that we'd purchased at the public market, and we'd had a bit of a rough day and they sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne that was amazing. Definitely gonna use Hyatt in the future.

Nice service and professional staff. Bed is comfortable and linen is nice. No puffy duvet, though. Stayed in a room facing Elliot Bay on the 21st floor, and the view would probably not be described as obstructed, but it is quite a few buildings blocking even from the 21st floor. The information in the room does not reflect that you can get breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby, but recommends you to go to the restaurant in the other property.
The decoration is a bit disappointing and the lighting has no central controls. The room comes with a nice TV, but you cannot change inputs (i.e not able to connect your computer to it) without having a normal TV remote for it handy.
I think it reflects my experience of 5-star hotels in the US quite well. They're in general not worth their asking price and that extra star comes with a high cost that makes it hard to keep up with the same quality of smaller 4-star boutique hotels.

All was generally okay, but, impossible to get cold water out of the taps. Not talking about real chilled water, just cool water. Everything out of the taps was either hit or overly warm. Very strange.

In Seattle for the weekend, wanted to try a new hotel. Booked a king corner suite: roomy, clean. The windows have blackout curtains that drop down at the touch of a switch and work well for light blocking. Very quiet room. Spacious lobby and nice club level. Will be back.

Went in there to ask for directions to the parking garage and the front desk girl I talked to was super super rude!!! Gave me a horrible scowl and her tone of voice was even worse. When I asked to talk to her manager Sylvia Hyles her manager was just as rude and pretended that her employee did nothing wrong. To be in the field of customer service this place is a zero! I would go find another hotel. I would never stay here. DONT STAY HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY LIKE PEOPLE AND TREAT PEOPLE BETTER! Also found out the next day that the manager called the police on me lying that I was threating them just too try to get me arrested. Places like this need to get boycotted as an example and lesson to treat people better. Without customers these guys don t have a job and they go out of business!

Service itself was great with good recs for restaurants and attractions, but a drunk guy tried to force his way into my hotel room and yelled at me in the middle of the night when he couldn't get in, so the clientele leaves something to be desired

This hotel was in the central part of the downtown district. Close to the convention center and all shopping. Great restaurants all around and easy to walk to. 8 blocks from Seattle's Public Market, and 2 blocks from the monorail which takes you to Space Needle and other great attractions. Easy on on off the freeway

Definitely not what I was expecting from a 4 star ...

Definitely not what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. This hotel has very good reviews so I booked it for my honeymoon unfortunately it was not a very good experience. I booked through booking.com for $316 for a two night stay, upon arrival the front desk staff asked for payment of $455 dollars I showed my proof of booking through the booking.com app and they corrected the price but very unprofessional to not have the correct pricing on the room. On our first night we ordered room service and our pizza was delivered very burnt, we asked for a new one which also was delivered very burnt. There was only one robe in our room and one roll of toilet paper. During our stay we got Cheesecake Factory to celebrate our honeymoon, we brought it back to our room because during this time they are only doing to go orders. We brought back cheesecake anticipating that we could stick it in the fridge to stay chilled but to our surprise the refrigerator was not working. It was turned off, by the time it was brought back down to proper temp the cheesecake was already bad. The shower was cold for two of my husbands showers, and the king sized bed did not even fit on the bed frame it was hanging over the edge. Definitely not what I expected when I booked this hotel.
I will say that the location is great, close to pikes place and other attractions.
Ending result I will be booking elsewhere for my next trip to Seattle.

The room was great, but I can't say I enjoyed my stay here.

For one, the free WiFi is incredibly slow and blocks all streaming services. When I tried upgrading to the paid wifi, I had to wait 24 hours for them to reset the router before I could even start using it. They use the same wifi network for both, and since I had already signed into the free one, there was no way for me to switch over until the router forgot my device. I asked reception about it and they said there was nothing they could do. SUPER annoying.

The 24/7 fitness center is a nice amenity, which I used twice, but I learned after the first time DO NOT USE THE LOCKERS, as they are super finicky. I got locked out of mine because the keypad stopped working! I had to wait 45 mins and called the front desk FOUR TIMES before someone finally came with the master key so I could get all my stuff out of the locker.

As if that wasn't bad enough, when I went to soak in the hot tub after an intense day of skiing, the hot tub jets weren't working! Same story: I called reception, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but this time no one ever came. As a result, the hot tub was no different from if I had just taken a hot bath. Very disappointing.

The only reason I'm not giving one star is that the staff was at least friendly (despite their complete inability to actually help me with anything), and they offer a few free items on the "Missing Must-Haves" that are convenient like lint mitts, tea packages, and a toothbrush.

Great hotel, bad experience.

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! For the price, it's an absolute steal! Great location in downtown Seattle. Room was clean, nice big screen tv, cool electric shades. Bathroom was fit for a queen and king! All atound good spot! Pluses include Starbucks and the NYC cafe connected to the hotel. NYC Cafe is a nice lil spot to pick up beer and wine since it's oriced at a premium at most places.

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt was flawless. The staff was just fantastic, and made sure we had everything we needed taken care of immediately. The room we had was wonderful, the arrangement was very well planned out and had everything we needed in it. The soaking tub was a big plus, and the blackout curtains in the room really helped us sleep well. Everything was perfect, really. It's been the best hotel experience I've had in years!

The Hyatt staff will let your husband check out of the room in the middle of the night and then kick you out of your room. Because of Covid you may not wait for a way home inside so they will put a woman out on the street in the dark and the cold.

An amazing experience.

An amazing experience.

We arrived late to Seattle and were greeted by an extremely friendly concierge. She was helpful, jovial, and recommended some great nearby places to eat so late at night. We took her recommendation and enjoyed a late dinner at The Tap Room around the corner.

The room was amazing. Black-out curtains with floor-to-ceiling windows behind them offered a nice view of downtown. Comfortable bed, a nice sized living area, and beautiful tub as well as separate shower were my other highlights.

The entire staff we encountered were helpful, friendly, and generally pleasant people.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again for any return trip to Seattle.

This is a clean, modern hotel befitting the standards of a Hyatt. The corporate feel lends to a calm yet serious environment where the rooms are spacious, professional, and clean. For being in downtown, the area felt safe and was generally clean on the outside. I would not go further east or up to Denny Triangle, but the walk down to Pike Place is quite nice and safe for families.

Amazing boutique hotel!!! Cannot say enough about the excellent customer service from all but especially Emily. Some rooms were extra cozy and some were huge!!! But all clean, and they were so accommodating. Garden was exceptional. There is no parking, but finding parking nearby is NO problem and they have a good sized loading zone. I will definitely stay here again!!!! Thanks for putting up with our crazy bunch, Emily!!!
